I m from singapore but there is no new rom.
hasn't been a new ROM release for a very long time for Asia already. anyway checking the HTC website can answer your question very quickly...
thanks, from HTC web site, the latest ROM was released on 2009-03-16. I would like to have this one first. I don't have S/N so I cannot download

Hi guys,
I saw a new rom version on the website from HTC. It's only for vodafone. Now my problem is I can't download It!! It sais my phone is not correct for this rom.
Anybody who has this issue also? Or am I the only one

That is an older rom, you are better off with a custom rom (newer and less stuff on it)... good luck!

Maybe it is not released yet in your region. You can flash generic firmware from here.

Thanks but the thread you send me to is saying that old 1.6 Firmware can not be flashed with this at the moment

Cannot go to 1.6, can come from 1.6.

You can flash from 1.6 --> 2.1 but NOT the other way around.

Ok heres my problem, i'm looking to flash my current o1 back to original F/w but i'm in darn New Zealand. My phone is unbranded and not rooted since update so i need some one to help me get a English language F/w code from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=865479 . I know there is a Vodafone NZ one but unless some one can test the F/w to see if it's branded i'd rather not test it since i am kinda new at this.
Please help!

Hi,
All the fw's in the link are original ones.... u can either port the NZ one or Australian version or Indian version or the UK one.... There are versions like 10A, 10B, 10C .... Go for either 10A or 10B because the latter one's can't be rooted.
Also, avoid using swearing words in this community bro, the moderators mite even delete ur account.

I have tested the Australian version of 10A.... It's fast! So, you can flash it bro

Ok, try the German version or the Nordic version.
The German version comes with some own applications but they can easily be uninstalled.

Umm while flashing Nordic rom an error is occurring!! It shows fail instead of pass!! Any clue why that is happening!!

Recently I got my new Red Magic from China with ROM version NX609j_ENCommon_v2.20.
In short time I have tried out last international ROM 1.12 and new CN ROM 2.36.
But I want to try a bit more the NX609j_ENCommon_v2.20 one and I can not find it.
Is there anybody who still has it in phone and can make a dump or backup? and give a download link.
Or anybody has a download link to this ROM?

mars is a new device. how can you even think that you have ROMs for that? Just wait the device is being launched globally.
