my problem:
I upgraded to WM6.1 (German) (perfect!) and now i've got a problem:
How can I send MMS?
There is no MMS support..
Could someone tell me, where I can download a cab file??
(ArcsoftMMS doesn't fit with my mobile phone, i think.. couldn't send MMS.. )

Someone have ansked and got an answer, I'm sure of it.
Use the search function and you will certainly find the answer to most of your questions.

You have to have the settings ready from your mobile operator and type then in under messaging settings.
Please try to include what ROM you have flashed the next time, It makes it easier to solve your problem.

I have installed PPC2003 and the autoconfiguration doesnt work. i recall i read in some forum that if i want to Remove the dashes in the phone numbers i should edit a registry entry but i can't find it back can anyone help please?
Your only hope is that someone using a non-US ROM can look up this key for you and post how to create it on your device using a registry edit tool.

Or since haven't gotten a replied to your post (I like to seek out the 0's as a fun evening challenge :wink: ) you could flash your ROM to SER1.1 find this key write down it's parameters, re-flash your ROM back to 2003 and create this reg edit :roll: This first is a much nicer experience and there are so many helpful people here you should have no problem having someone come to your rescue

I read text message at the ftp site and I just want to know will those files be deleted or what? I'm using diamond rom for the moment but I would like to have the WM2005 rom just in case I decide to upgrade.

Hello.
Just wondering if anyone know if there is a cab for network wizard for Dopod 838 English ROM for Asia (HK). I just flash my softbank with wm6, but it doesn't have the network wizard. I manage to find one, but it is in Chinese.
Could someone points me to what I can get it?
Also, I notice some forum says I can extract cab from ROM.. try to search thru the post here but can't find much find. If I can't find it on the .net, maybe I can extract the cab myself. Could someone point to me this direction as well?

but make sure u install Dopod_Cert as well if u are using other than dopod branded hermes.

I have a MDA touch plus from t-mobile holland first i need to know how to CID unlock the thing and then if possible a dutch rom for the device
If someone can help me because i have no idea how to get a dutch rom om windows mobile 6.1

Worked for me, if you search you can also find a link to a T-Mobile Dutch ROM in case you need to revert back for warranty purposes.

A little tip.
When you have flashed the new ROM the keyboard WnW (web n walk) key will open Internet Explorer.
If you want to use the BrandedBrowser (with the "wilt u online gaan" message) you need to go to the PPC windows directory and copy these files to your PC before flashing:
BrandedBrowser.exe
web'n'walk short cut
wnw short cut
wnw icon
When you have flashed the new Rom copy the files back to your PPC. ADDITIONALLY you will need a registry editor to create 2 new keys:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\PIEPlug]
"WebStub"=dword:00000000
"home"=http://pda.t-mobile.nl"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\PIEBrowser]
"Path"="\Windows\BrandedBrowser.exe"

Feeling generous, heres the reg files you need.
Better still, here's a cab file with the files and registry entries.
Guys i thought anyone out here can tell. hows this ROM like, since i dont knw chinese.. i hope our friends could help us out with it & get our hands on this 6.5 version for our Oxygen. plz do upload it on rapidshare help us here for testing this ROM.

Well, all 6.5 roms for oxy are in chinese i haven't found one in english but still searching and my 6.5's are all not standard maybe i will try soon to make another rom for oxy and with 6.5 but now i am trying to figure out a way to sim unlock it because it is a simple thing just that the tools are missing. You can see my post for that and for some roms let's do something.
