Hi,
the CDMA hero (Sprint) will be delivered with a 1500 mAh instead of a 1350 mAh delivered with european hero. Do anyone know if the batteries are cross-compatible between sprint and European hardware?
Thx,
Christian
Its been asked before, and IIRC the battery is a few mm wider than a proper Hero, so its a no go.
Vince
I can confirm this. I recently received an extended 1750 battery from Seidio in the US, thinking that the battery for the US and European versions were the same. hey're not. The US battery is 4mm wider and doesn't fit. Shame...

What is the difference other than software between the T-mobile Phone edition PDA and the Siemens SX56. I have heard from the reviews that the battery life is considerably longer on the SX56 verses the T-mobile. Is that true? Is the hardware slightly different? Any info would be greatly appreciated...

The only other difference is the color of the device is different (one is more silver and the other is champagne)
Differences? SX56
How come the online reviews rate the SX56 with longer battery life than the T-mobile? Is it in the settings or setup in the backlight or something?

I have many units in both! They are the same hardware and software. The difference is the case color. Both are made by HTC and that is how they differentiate the units.
Myabe the battery life has something to do with the way the units poll the providers. I heard AT&T has better code, but I cannot verify that...

Hello All,
I've searched high and low and still can not find a definate answer.
Will the Touch Pro 2 (1500 mah) battery fit in my old Touch Pro (1) 1340 mah ?
I have read there is a difference between the CDMA and GSM version of these batteries.
Mine is a CDMA , U S Cellular phone.
I am wanting to purchase a couple off of Ebay and want to get the 1500 IF it will fit without a new back cover.
Thanks,
Barry

You are in the wrong sub-forum. This is for the TP and not for the TP2.
Skeeter,
Re-Read my original post. I don't know a sub forum from a dom forum,,,
TP2>TP***AKA: I HAVE a TP...
GetRdoNE...
it is a completely diffrent phone.. so... no.. a TP2 battery will not work in a TP... Also, there is NO diffrence in a CDMA and GSM Touch Pro b atteries.. We have 2 Fuzes, a Sprint, and a US Cellular variant of the Touch Pro in my home, and we all share the same backup batteries (we have 8 batteries for 4 phones)

Opps... sorry about that...
Teej is right though, the battery is completely different (size-wise) and I am not certain, but I think the pin-out is different too.
Again, sorry about it but a lot of people actually post questions about the TP2 in here for some reason....
Seidio makes a 1500mAh battery that is compatible with the TP. I have one.
Hi everyone...
I upgraded my phone a while back, and once again need many new accessories.. I already have a HTC branded spare battery... but seeing as my Touch Pro cradle will not charge the spare battery nor dock my TP2, I need a new cradle.. anyone here have a spare/extra one they want to see that will work with a US Cellular branded TP2?
On many websites they say they only work with tmobile, or only att, or only VZW, or only sprint... I need one that will work properly for my phone... and I really need the battery charger slot.. actually right now I would even settle for just a battery charger... Let me know what you have.... or if you can reccomend a decent cheap one from some site. I got my Touch Pro one for under $10..... I would like a simmilar price range... I also am up to trade my touch pro cradle with a number of extra batteries for one... Thanks in advance!
The ones for Sprint phones will work. Make sure it is for a Touch Pro 2 your search results will include chargers for the older Touch Pro.
This is the one I got, and it works great/perfect.

Guess I over looked you saying this was a US Cellular... and I believe as the other poster said, a Sprint one should work. Check these two out.

I was wondering if they exist. I can't seem to find them anywhere.
they exist for i9100. Not sure if they work though.
I've been wondering why Anker hasn't released an AT&T S2 Battery.......
Hey Guys,
I just had to buy another v60 because I had purchased an AT&T version while using T-Mobile. The phone works until July when Tmo phases outs some legacy bands. So I bought a proper T-Mobile LG V60. I went all out and bought a genuine new one and its great but I noticed it weighs A LOT LESS than my previous AT&T. Its weighs 7.6oz, which matches specs, so I'm not worried, but its my older AT&T I'm wondering about, it weighs 8.2oz! I always thought it was heavy and just attributed it to the 5000mah batt. Can anyone with an AT&T confirm that theirs is also that heavy(8.2oz)??
It's possible that the difference in weight is due to the modem (i. e. CDMA vs. GSM, if that applies). Other than that, I don't know what else could be the cause.

Ok thanks for the input. It's like a brick compared to my new phone. It even stays cooler longer because of the extra mass when charging. I've searched the forums, reddit and Google and can't find any reference to the extra weight. I guess you wouldn't notice unless you had bought two different versions of the phone though.
