OK, Here is the deal.
I have created a working XdaLive Screen Lock for the XdaLive Live Wm6.
This is similar to the iphone with a working Sliding Unlocker. Only I put the sliding unlocker on the top and used XdaLive image as the Background & put the Digital Clock and Date at the Bottom as you can see in the Image I attached.
FINAL WORKING LIST:
1. Battery Life
2. NEW SMS Counter
3. Active Tasks
4. New Emails
5. OWNER NAME DISPLAY.
(TODO: A LOT OF THINGS LIKE ADDING MORE FUNCTIONALITY, FIX A LOT OF LITTLE THINGS & NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO READ REGISTRY KEYS with SPACES in BETWEEN ANY HELP? ONE THING IS TO NOT HAVE THE APPLICATION QUIT ON END BUTTON (FIXED!).)
Another thing:
----------------------
Does anyone know how to replace the default Lock with this one? I tried replacing the DeviceLock.exe with this one and it does not work. BSDeviceLock.exe does not exist in WM6 either.
WAS A LITTLE OUT OF IT BECAUSE OF JACK DANIELS. HENCE THE BLACK SLIDER
DUE TO A LOT OF PEOPLE WANTING TO TEST THIS, I DECIDED TO JUST PUT THE FILES IN THE OPEN AS I WORK WITH THEM. LIKE DAILY SNAPSHOP OF THE EXECUTABLES (WHENEVER I WORK ON THEM)
THIS IS A PRE-PRE BETA OPEN TEST RELEASE AND NOT PACKAGED.
UNZIP AND PUT THE FILES IN A FOLDER. THE DLL & THE EXECUTABLE HAVE TO BE IN THE SAME FOLDER
REQUIREMENT: FLASH ACTIVEX (NOT FLASH LITE)
ZIP FILE DESCRIPTIONS:
--------------------------
1. xdaLiveScreenLock.zip (XDA LIVE UNLOCKER)
2. SliderLock.zip (JACK DANIELS BLACK SLIDER)
*****MORE IMPORTANCE WAS GIVEN FOR LOOKS RATHER THAN FUNCTIONALITY WHEN STARTING THIS.****
not responsible for anything that might happen by using this little useless application. There are a lot of small glitches usability wise, else works good. preference was given to aesthetics more than anything else. The size is big due to the sliding component being created in flash.
ADDED A 240X240 SLIDER. THIS HAS NOT BEEN TESTED AS I DO NOT HAVE A 240X240 Device.
.
this looks excellent, good job! I have been wondering about that also, devicelock is signed is it not?
Anyone know of a generic wrapper with basic API calls that I can call from within this Flash Application?
edit: compiled own from source code found, change adopted and compiled.
Hi,
i don't really use the device lock... because when turning the phone in standby all key's are locked and i don't want that the screen is always on...
or is there any other significance about using the device lock??

don't really know it helps... but just test too but the string in " " like in commandline when using spaces... maybe you can just try to use double bslashes \\windows\\system32\\
this looks awesome. the people on this forum never cease to amaze me. Pure Genius
WOW the progress of this is really good sir, youve managed to implement a few more features since i last looked. This will definatly be in the Extras wiki page once it is fully working
I thought about what you could do in respect to replacing the standard lock, disable the lock in the today settings and map this program to a hardware button (5??) How does it fair after a power off (just standby not fully off) as it would be a good way to check the time etc... in the night?
keep up the good work CD, quite a few people are waiting for something like this.
Heya all gurus, give tha man a little help with issues maybe?
Thanks Ppl.
This is something I have been wanting to do for a while now but just got around to doing it. Hopefully in a couple days I will have everything squared out.
I am wondering if I should let ppl test this out. I will also have changeable backgrounds for this.

To read the registry I had to actually use \\\\ to get to different levels. But I am NOT able to read the Value Names with spaces.

Since not even Sbp Mobile Shell was able to replace the lock screen (and that while they basically have something to show then ready with their new Intro screen), I guess it could get quite complicated to replace it...
Does anyone know if the fake iPhone things that were or were not around are able to replace the lock screen? I especially remember that last one were only videos existed, it had a real good fake, but I'm not sure if the video showed it really in action as a lock screen?

I am able to Execute it on "Device Wake" via notifications (thanks KYPHUR for the suggestion.) I also actually was able to replace keylock @ Install time and an installation induced reset. The icon also shows up in the Setting folder.
I am also thinking about doing a Today Plugin. Let's see how that goes.
Looks nice..cant wait till its released..

Where to download?
Yeah!!
Would love a slider unlocker as a today plugin. I use the WMP plugin since I use my phone as an mp3 player a lot so the device lock function on the today screen is a must for me.
Great work and look forward (hopefully) to a today plugin.

Could you use %20% AND %40% to represent the space and other special characters as they do on other windows products? MS has a list on its knowledge base for these...I think %20% is the space, but not sure

yes, in html and such it is, maybe you could use \%20%\ as space , but I am just a webprogrammer, and not a very good one

Actually, in HTTP requests it's %20 w/o the percent sign at the end, and it simply means 0x20, which is hexadecimal 20 or decimal 32, which indeed is a space. I highly doubt that it would be useful in accessing the registry, though.
I don't see why a space doesn't work as just a space when accessing the registry. Perhaps escape it with a backslash (or two)?

How about posting some screens for various applications?
right away sir
Thanks for posting the screens.
I guess it's a personal thing, but I prefer to view the device in 128dpi, with wktask, with a 3D glassy top and bottom bar, with both date and time on the taskbar of every screen, just to list some of the main things I would tailor.
Hey, whatever appeal to you, enjoy your device
U can always customize the view and 128dpi can be installed
i'm confused with your screenshots.
are simply qvga, non?

I love changing the color of my theme every now and then. One of the quickest ways of to use tweaks2k2. It gives you the 3d glassy look. Depending on my mood, I like to switch between blue, green, black, etc. Be very careful though when you use tweak2k2. Don't let it trigger any soft reset(always use stylus into the hole method) or else you may be stuck on primary splash and you'll be forced to hard reset.
thanx for the info and warning. i do too. currently running 192dpi, snapvue, and snavue tsk on my rom. will probably go back to setup u see in dual screenies when i get realvga cooked back into rom im currently running.
Does this rom contain the latest Opera? That's the only reason I see to upgrade to this. Font size looks like it does when you change the screen settings to a smaller font on the 'screen' menu. I assume you can change the pink theme with the windows standard.
some clarrification
the opera version is build 8.65(2627)
the rom is overall very fast
the text resolution is vga like and we can get rid of the cuteiii pink colour.
the ap3 dual rom is superior in many aspects but this rom is good for all those who want a clean rom without any addons.
hey powell can u please post a lite addition of your touch dual rom it would be great
perhaps I also forgot to mention that this rom solves the micro drive issue in ameo.
Powell can u please give add ons seperately.
Leoni,
Why not try out this Opera and see if you like it better?

Ok, ive begun testing this ROM Eaglesteve and here are my observations thus far:
Opera is identical to the others, although a nice resolution mod has been done with the url bar, making it smaller and neater than the versions seen in other ROMS. there is no immediate reference to 'opera' within the application in that it is referred to as 'web n walk' in the start menu, and the homepage is www.t-mobilefavourites.co.uk. for those wishing to use t-mobile's tv service this functionality is now restored for wm6.
on the whole i feel that the download and render time with this version of Opera is the slowest i've seen. there is no flash support and this is NOT the latest Opera build (or anywhere near). this indicates that HTC have a limited deal with Opera which does not include the more recent version - no free upgrade then.
I found both browsers to be unusually slow, even after various tweaks.
T-mobile have removed Windows Live from this ROM.
They have included (the completely pointless) F-Secure Antivirus, which annoyingly pops up an installation window upon every soft reset.
The 'H'SDPA icon is not enables by default for some unknown reason. this is surely a step backwards from the old T-Mobile ROM.
t-mobile sounds are preset by default. they are horrendous.
some of the 'band' settings have been removed in line with what's available in western europe.
dialpad is a modified pink|grey, as is the comms screen.
there is a t-mobile home plugin similar to htc's, but with 'web n walk' last dialled, file explorer and SIM manager.
this ROM seems more sluggish than touch dual overall, and is missing a great deal of decent features that id gotten used to with Touch.
will try a hard reset with no installed t-mobile CABs and report back
Thanks for the quick feedback.
You mentioned that the address bar is smaller. This is interesting. Could you post a screen shot on that?

sorry eaglesteve i dont have the screenshot utility that comes with touch, otherwise id send you a screenshot.
update though: this ROM is an absolute dog. it's slooooow, web pages dont load up very fast and for the first time in ages im getting the "this page cannot be found" dialogue in p.i.e. on random occasions. ive also had opera randomly shut down on me twice.
can someone else try this ROM and tell me im not mistaken? the only apps ive installed are wktask, fingertouch and htc home
so far i can't believe t-mobile have unleashed a pile of crap like this on the public. its bad enough that they make their handsets look so rubbish.
one last set of points to t-mobile:
we DONT need antivirus. really.
we DONT need to be asked if we're sure we want to go online/sure we want to close the browser.
we dont like pink today screens and phones with pink bits on them
we DO want you to employ Pawel and the team to develop decent ROMs in future.
Is this ROM the standard WM6 ROM provided by T Mobile to work on the Ameo? The quality is very different from those provided by Dopod.
Just switched back to the Touch Dual ROM.
I encourage anyone Interested in it to avoid this ROM at all costs except for warranty purposes. Glitchy, slow, overbranded, RUBBISH.
YUK.

lol nice.
to the poster asking about vanilla: i could remove everything except pk programs 3.0(task manager+regedit and screenshot app) and leave in tsk, welcomhead, and all the reg edits i have done BUT the available space on the device with or without dual will remain the same.
its not worth it.
use file explorer and go into windows/start menu/programs and removed whatever u dont use. it will clean up the program's folder and u can go ahead and do same with system folder.
it will look clean that way and if u decide u want to use a app that i cooked in you just add shorcut back in. also for battery/qwerty menu just go ahead and remove the shortcuts for those from windows/startup and those are gone.
switch to a different tsk like says windows mobile default and u look vanilla. for say the control panel apps just ignore or remove from windows folder.
Ur rom looks vanilla and it will have same space as a vanilla rom. also u can go ahead after the black tsk is displayed and soft reset device to not install extended rom stuff and reduce apps installed.
@leoni
T Mobile has put its customisations, so if u check opera, the proxy is enabled.
If u remove the proxy all work well.
Results are better, when one flashes only OS.nb converted to NBH and use, so u do not have any T Mobile Crap installed
The final version is out and it doesn't work with the 96 DPI on the athena. The tabs are missing in the settings list, which isn't a problem but the tabs have no icons on the home screen. This program looks really useful and I am hoping we can find a way to make it work.
Mods please don't move this thread, it is device specific and I believe the issue would be overlooked in the main thread in the general forums.
Working great over here at 96 DPI! I've installed the final version (2.0.0 build 3275) And so far I haven't seen any drawbacks. Works very smooth, animations without hasitation and a few nice new features.

Hi
The tabs can be Replaced in 192 DPI if you using spb weather or phone suite or diary then switch back to 96 DPI, but Home tab you cannot do anything.
Tab settings list still missing in 96 DPI.
See my screen shots and see my previous post.

Good find however I believe he is ignoring the problems with the 96 DPI. Look at his screen shot the list of tabs are missing. And he has no screen shots of the home plugin, which I thought was a big feature of this application.
Thanks sabes143, I forgot to move the information about 192 DPI in this thread.

I agree. It is completely useless. It is impossible to get the tabs working or showing anything meaningful and impossible to get the other menus to stay on the homepage. I would steer clear.
No joy here either with 2.0. No tabs. Today screen plugin is totally useless without them.
Too bad, there are some pieces of it I like!
I saw this posted in the development forum: Password for dat files that are really zip files: b0fm18zq Maybe this will help make the icons show up on the tabs...
Their forums also note that they don;t support RealVGA - that could be the problem (and if it is, that is really shortsighted on their part)...
same problem here,
mobile shell works fine with RealVGA and the 192 dpi setting
but is pretty useless with 92 or 128 dpi activated.
besides the today plugin not working:
in the spb menu (right softkey by default) the icons of all my custom programs look totally crappy, and next to each icon half of the icon of another program is visible.
I have the same issues, except that on my today screen, there are three other icons appearing next to all the icons.
I don't like having so many gestures to go access my applications. Currently my setup is far better than spb mobile. This is what I have:
1.I have date and time on the task bar so what I can see it everywhere. In addition, I have the big clock on my today screen provided by spb time. This lets be have fuller function than spb mobile.
2. I have spb phone suite on my today screen. This is better than what spb mobile offers because in addition to what spb mobile offers, I also havethe ability to switch on/off bluetooth, wifi etc.
3. I use SBSH weather watch today plugin, which of better than spb mobile's weather program because it shows more info, occupies less space, and has much more comprehensive weather stations for smaller towns.
4. I use ilauncher to launch programs. It is much easier and effortsless to configure and customise the icons for all dpi. I also get the safe mode reset capability.
5. I use today agenda to show my calendar and tasklist on my today screen. This is better than pocket informant IMHO because each item takes only one line, so more items could be shown on less space on today screen.
All items are visible at once on my today screen, without any need to swipe any fingers, which is a fun thing to do for just the first few seconds, but is really annoying after that for me.
Don't know, but even i don't like the way it behaves.
Its quite jerky when it does the so called "Animation" when you open contacts or any sub screen.
Its far better to use spb pocket plus or even resco today plugin and get the basic things you need right on your today screen.
Though, its something good to play around for a few days ... but then eventually it boils down to performance. It the device is not snappy, no matter what you do, it will not satisfy ...
Let's give 'em a call!

Has anybody tried to contact SPB Softwarehouse and gave them a version of the TrueVGA to test it with their software? I would think we are a large community with a voice!
I've been around the TP forum since almost day one and I am also watching closely the Diamond one. My question (and I put it in the ROM development area for a reason) is as follows:
Why is it so difficult to change themes in TF3D manila?
It is difficult and with issues most of the time and many flaws occure when using any of the programs available by pretty capable guys around here (eg. diamond config, manila customiser, cabs etc.)
Please don't get me wrong, these programs DO WORK, but WITH FLAWS. I tried many themes and ways and I find problems most of the time. One problem for example would be speed in people tab, in NATF 1.1 ROM, att people tab is as fast as hell, but try to change the theme and you will get the shock of your life in the time it takes to open that tab. The same (even worse) would be said for RomeOs 1.40.
Why can't we just do: start>settings>today>themes and choose the theme (which should be there by the way but never is) >items>tf3d only
I know that the themes tab is for the whole interface of windows, but why is there no link between themes and tf3d, a real and correlative link i.e. one would change the other?
Sorry for the long story but would any one be interested to discuss that??
- i dont quiet understand what the issue you seem to comming across using the TF3D Customizer, if u could be a bit more specific i could possibly help..
BUT from the jump i did notice that..it was made known not to use on the 1.93 rom, is that an issue here?
i flashed NATF's rom and all seems to be working just fine. Themes take about 1-2 mins to fully load..then i get the soft reset prompt and BAM..new theme loaded
- honestly..i think using manilla on these devices which are TF3D .. makes no sense, i could be 100% wrong..but it seems like a step backwards.
i was involved with the release of TF2D and i can honestly say TF3D is better..and no not the throttle launcher version either..no knock there..just doesnt compete with the real thing.
The thing is, whenever you temper with the original (ROM TF3D) in any way, and that I noticed in all my instances and in all the roms I used, you always get a different, primary lousier responce in the performance.
about 1.93, no that was not the issue.
Correct me if I'm wrong in these:
1- tf3d is a user interface created by htc to be used on wm6.1 touch flow devices
2- this created 2 kinds of themes:
a- windows theme for the original interface
b- tf3d themes only
3- link between the 2 does not exist, or is to be made manually i.e. change wm theme & tf3d theme
4- when you change tf3d theme you almost always fall into flaws (and not to mention trying to add tabs which is another story altogether), interface flaws and performance flaws
5- no theme exists that combine both worlds in one and that you can use from the normal windows themes tab in settings (except the original shipped one in the rom of course)
1. correct.. pretty obvious there
2a. this 2nd theme u speak of.. the .tsk file, is a simple layout..like a "background so to speak, to add a bit of flare to plain. if u opted out in using TF and and just went with the today screen add-on's.
2b. well if its TF3D then i would presume u would make themes that are TF3D compat. ? call me crazy lol
3. if you want to be technical, there is a link..when u access ur start menu..while in TF3D..ur accessing theme 1 and 2. hence a link being created.
4. on an ORIGINAL STOCK ROM..of course your going to run into issues. Its made by service providers to do just that provide service, not get ur optimal performance..hence why apps such as Kaiser Tweaks, and Advance Config were created..to get that optimal performance.
on another persons created rom..the issues u generally run into will be short lived, considering they too..are tryin to edit out the bugs that u would normally run into.
once again..i really dont know where or how ur running into that TF3D theme issue..i just cycled thru 5 diffrent themes, with no issues to report.
5. u lost me
just a fast Q; Where to place the .theme files?
steps plz for the noobie.
- And do i have to use Diamond TF3D Config, or just from the setting?
Thnx!

The slider icons and stuff worked great though
any news yet..for u
i was just browsing thru and theres been a few reports in those threads about working flip clocks.
I still believe that this tf3d themes issue is not purely resolved by the developers. I'm trying to have a smooth theme transition (i.e. change from theme to another) but am failing most of the time. Each and every (and I mean it) theme has at least one flaw that render the theme lame, sometime in the interface and some time in the performance. Am I the only alien around here???? Do I really miss something????

rom... u name it cause i tried them all (literally)
using manilla editor & tf3d diamond config
for that advanced config 3.3
ok so start from skratch..reflash the original rom, then go from there.
-use the hardspl provided in this forum.
-then flash NATF's rom ( i use that one with no issues to report..may be flashing again tonight tho, if that TIR ROM is ready. )
after your flash of the ROM HARD RESET, i know ur probably thinkin i know all this..but alot of the times ppl skip that step and it helps..trust it does!
-install NET CF 3.5
-install Diamond Tweak
-install Diamond TF3D Config
u dont need advanced config if ur using Diamond Tweak.
then we'll get a theme and go from there.

PLEASE SEE POST #2 for issues / FAQ's.
Its here!
Ok, I updated the ROM with Bored GPS phase two technology to bring you the easiest and fastest way to get GPS running on your XV6850. The instructions have been updated for use. Only MAJOR change besides asthetics is how you launch the GPS fix. I made it a little simplier ;c) See updated instructions below!
I also added some eyecandy, fancy icons in taskbar, battery percent over battery icon in 1% increments.
Preface::
This ROM is based on the eRice kitchen like my last couple ROM's. It has a modified version of the llllBoredllll GPS Fix. I modified it to create a link to PPST.exe in Programs -> Navigation -> Installation. In that folder you will also find three other installers for the latest version of Google Maps (with the new feature set)and Live Search. All tested and working with GPS locks usually under 60 seconds.

Instructions UPDATED 27 Dec 08:
1. Flash phone - Phone flashes and autorun kicks in and then reboots.
2. Phone now displays welcome center and you click on screen to continue. No need to calibrate, I did it for you ;c)
3. Next hit start -> Programs -> GPS-> lllboredlll GPS fix.
4. Select OK to proceed with update. When that is finished select OK when prompted to reboot.
5. Now Dial *22899 and activate. Phone will reboot on its own.
6. Now we need to enable GPS in windows and verify the PRI update worked. Start phone by pressing green button. You will need to make a call to do this. Dial your voice mail. It should ring in to it no problem and the carrier should stay VZW on the screen. Now click Menu -> Options -> Serivces Tab -> Location Settings -> Get Settings -> Location On -> OK ->ok
7. DONE!
At this point you are done and GPS is unlocked. You can start installing the included GPS apps if yiou choose.
**The included apps have been modified to put the shortcuts in the Navigation Folder under programs. They are the latest versions respectively as of 20 Dec 2008 11:49PM Central Time. They can be uninstalled later to accommodate updated software! Don’t ask in the thread because you will look really silly as I have answered the question here.
Installing Live search and Google Maps then making them compatible, Step by Step!
How to set up Live Search
Start-> Programs -> GPS -> Live Search
Select Menu -> Settings. Arrows Done to GPS COM0 and change it to GPS COM4. Select Done
Now select Map. This brings up the default map. Next turn on GPS by pressing Menu -> Center on GPS.
It can take a few minute for a first fix. After that it much quicker. I also recommend toggle Center GPS on and back off again if it doesn’t pick up in under 90 seconds as a matter of fact the program will force you to. If it forces you to then click Ok then toggle “Center on GPS” off then back on and it will lock quickly! First lock is always hard on fresh flash. After that you should be good to go.
How to set up Google Maps
start -> Programs -> GPS -> Google Maps
Select Menu -> Options -> GPS Settings
Select Set manually and then arrow down and select COM4 then change baud rate to 4800. Now click ok.
Now Select Menu -> Use GPS and you will then lock on!
How to set up TomTom 7
Just install and run. It configures on its own. Atleast ver 7.45. I am running it without issue.
Remember: Be patient! It may take a couple soft reset to get it to work but it will. Trust me. Worse case scenario I had with a flash was I had to try twice in Live search then exit live search, toggle location off and back on, restart Live Seach and it locked instantly. Most of the time it will lock on the second try. Its been about 90% consistent under 60 seconds for me. A brand new phone took only two tries with live search and it got it within 15 seconds on the second try.
Note 1: This was done on a brand new in Box XV6850 straight from the VZW store and worked as stated above. These were also conducted using the stock Radio. This was done in the office basement of my house completely below ground. These are results are repeatable as I have don’t them at least 25 times now on two different phones.
Note 2: I have not applied anyother fix to my phone other than the steps listed above. I have not applied the aGPS fix either.

One last thing to remember, this is the ROM I run on my phone. I am sharing because I like to not because I have to ;c) This is not a full time job for me but I put in more hours on these forums than 40 hours a week! hehehe.... THANKS!!!!!
THis post reserved for future growth!
1. Carriers other than VZW are discouraged from trying the ROM. I cannot honestly tell you what would happen which is the ONLY reason I would discourage it. I am on VZW with a VZW phone. If you wanna send me one of those fancier models I woull gladly test it for you ;c)
2. I will eventually post cabs for Large start Menu and Large title bar. There are 100's of them out there. If someone can grab them I will post them on this post. Any help on this is great. I dont have time to look around for things i dont use and I got another project going on that will keep me busy most of tonight and tommorow. So once again, if you have these cabbed up already grab them and post them PLEASE!
Bugs
1. SYM key does not work right now. More than likely because Diamond Sip is gone. I have not confirmed only taken the report.
2. Pictures on Pic tab (disabled by default) dont flick up or down. I have not confirmed only taken the report.
3. TF3D is reported to not take special customizations. This has been reported but not exp by myself. I will look into it.
Thanks a lot. Can't wait to try it out. Downloading now!
Works great and the graphics improvements are really cool. When I boot I have 62.59 MB free! As always, thanks for all of your hard work on this.
Mike
I've gotta tell you story about this gps guy who was hacking away at pri's and chit. Well he decides to load up this new SUPER SWEET rom you posted and he sure did think it was nice. As he plays around installing and testing things, he decides to fire up the gps (you know that thing he's been all over for weeks). For some reason it wouldn't connect. So he goes searching and searching to see whats going on. After about 5 minutes or so he has a light bulb kick on in his weary weary head. he forgot to turn the location on..... hahahahahaha what an idiot.....
Nice ROM Dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, this is the bet one SO FAR.......... hehehehe
Thanks for this new ROM.
I flashed to it and have noticed that are better than expected! WOOHOO!
I did that the Diamond Keyboard is not on of the SIPs loaded. Is this something that you did on purpose?
I have 63.10 MB free on first boot but I after running Opera and checking around, the memory dropped to 59.18 MB. Pretty awesome!
I love the skin for PSShutXP. Completely matches the TF3D theme.
I have tried to get the GPS running but not having much luck. I will keep trying but I was getting mixed results with the last ROM. I live in Brooklyn NY so I would expect that aGPS will be the best option for me as there are too many things going on here for un-assisted GPS to get a solid lock. Oh well.
Thanks for working so hard on all this for us!
Thanks for the update, I'm downloading now....very excited!!

****, forgot to put that I stripped out SIP. I will update first post. Thanks for the reminder.
Sip is like 6 megs of Ram and really doesnt do a damn thing that the normal MS SIP does other than take up more screen space. To me a keyboard is a keyboard..... Doesnt have to be pretty just A-Z and some numbers and symbols ;c)
EDIT: about your being in NYC... I have heard time and time again people in NYC cant get locks, any big city with tall buildings and lots and obstructions actually. Try to get into an area where you dont have much around. Once you get that first lock... Its all cake from there....

I modded it to take out a logo and the word Diamond Shutdown. Its the OEM from PPC geeks with my Special Touch ;c)
I just noticed one thing. Not sure if it was intended or not. When I go in to the touchflo picture viewer and go full screen, I can no longer "flick" the pictures. It wont let me do anything with the pictures. Like I said, I dont know if that was intended or not, but I thought that I would let you know if not.
Mike
I noticed that Clear Type can no longer be selected/deselected. No big deal for me just wanted to let you know. Also noticed that my SYM key on the physical keyboard does not do anything.
I also noticed the landscape settings as well.
This ROM is AWESOME!
Is there any place I can get the keyboard BTW. I like using it better than the standard SIP.
Thanks

I'm actually looking into which is best right now. I guess a kitchen mod is about the easiest. If I do it in a cab I've got to delete the key then install the key. From what I've tried so far it will make a double entry.
I was outside tonight after posting the last few times and tried the HTC GPS tool to see if anything was getting through.
I was able to get up to 7 used but I couldn't get any fixed.
I ave it set to Q7500, cold start, 4800 and com 4.
I will keep trying to get a lock but...

Dont screw with the startig method. Just leave it as default. ONLY change the chip type.
Also, if you "use" that many and cant lock sounds like a nice quick soft reset will fix the problem. Most of the time anyway. Could be a funky driver issue.
