I'm inviting you to use this one : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=561158
There are a lot fast and stable ROM's out there. Go for a 6.5 ROM's if you want stability or go for 6.5.1 if you want to test some beta ROM's
This is by far the most stable all inclusive, rom I've used to date. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=497699
RRE 21051 build is the best 6.1 build I've used to date.
TAEL is solid. Unfortunately, it had trouble answering 2 out of every 3 calls, allegedly a problem with the rhodium dialer it uses. This was a deal closer for me and I went back to Energyrom.
I'm a fan of Energyrom... he had some experimental builds that freeze up like you said. You can download his stable builds. His new one on 10/29 is solid.
Good luck finding what works for you.

I agree, Shep's ROM is rock solid.
depending on the radio you have installed also affects the rom performance and other various things as well such as battery and call quality, so it may not be the rom it self
Check them out and see which one suits you best.

Hi guys, I've been trying to find a ROM that's just basically an English WM6.1 ROM - no extras, just the bare necessities. Is there one available? All I can seem to find are tweaked ROMs with a bunch of extra features I don't need, and mods I don't want...
-edit- Screw that, I was just looking in the wrong place. Guess I should've just looked in the ROM directory
this is the best I found around here...

100% clean, ultrafast; perfectly working
Thanks for the tip!
Right now I'm using Cloudyfa's [wm6.1]S4V.19209.01 Clean Edition (UC), and it kicks ass. Much more stable than Transformer1.1 WM6.0.
If S4V starts going to hell on me I'll give Prophet Future a try - but so far I'm very happy with S4V...

i will take the liberty to recommend this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=386050 as the version you are using has some minor bugs. I fumbled around quite a lot with Cloudyfa's roms since they are the best in my eyes. but i as well don't like all this crapware on my machine. i love choosing for myself. that's why i finally made my own mod and would call it probably the closest to "original" if there was an official wm6.1 release for the prophet.

...AND its my great pleasure to acknowledge chriskay's claim with fullest contentment.....that, Chriskay's revived is the best of 6.1 CLEAN ROMs around which have no bugs so far (I have been using it for loOOOng time). I switch to other ROMs for fun because there are realy good ones out there.
BUT considering CLEAN and STABLE - there is few choices,
1. Inteks v3 and v5 series (fastest of all ROMs, have bugs, need many customization before using)
2. Chriskays Merge revived (No bugs, stable, fast)
3. l3vsy is ROM (mentioned above in #2) have bugs: bluetooth activesync failed for me - I like to stay on my sofa and do things using my PDA through activesync via BT, so no go for me! Except for that, it's good one, very fast (er > chriskay)
So, I really have no clouds in my mind declaring chriskay's ROM as the favourite one for me.
Hope you find your dream ROM soon!

Hi Chriskay,
What minor bugs are you thinking of? I haven't found any yet. I'm just glad to finally have a ROM that doesn't crash every few hours

as far as i remember, infrared did not work and the keypad backlight did not switch on again once it went off.
there is a fix for IR floating around the forum, but the kepad backlight cannot be fixed so easily. that's why Cloudyfa put out a new rom with this issue corrected.
apart from that, i cannot remember anything. as i said: only minor bugs (if you don't use IR).
Cheers.
Okies, I don't use IR - but what's this about the keypad backlight? Mine seems to be working fine...
First, let me say thank you to all of the developers as well as users who make suggestions in this forum.
I am overwhelmed with information at this point. I have been using DCD's ROMs for about a year, and currently run 3.3.4.
So where to next for a nice STABLE flash?
6.5 Kitchen Beta 4
M2D 1.3.2
DCD 4.1.2
WM 6.5 build 21159
Others...
GO WINDOWS MOBILE!
Roms are mostly personal preference. Flash each one then pick the one you like best.
no opinions?
I'm surprised. So many opinions on other threads, but only 1 post in two days. I was looking for a respose such as:
I recommend _________ because of ____________
For everyday use, go with M2D or DCD.
For playing around or helping beta testers, run one of the beta's and provide feedback for issues.
I am currently running Skip's 1.1 Rom. I would give it a try, I had been using DCD 3.2.6 rom. After a clean install Skip's rom leave with about 25 of ram, after I did my installs it came down to 20mb of ram.

x2 .. R4R 1.3.3 is very nice .. best WM6.1 M2D IMO .. DCD seems to be the
base for most if not all of the WM6.1 ROM out there .. 6.5 is a little different
as it leaks out and a lot of ppl knows how to do translation and or have the
ability to swap out the correct/known .dll's/cpr that affect on-screen text ...
ALL 6.5’s are beta, Built 21139 is more stable as its closer to the final 6.1 build,
6.5 build 21159 is also “now” stable but still lack overall snappiness, issue is
CPU related, so even when the official 6.5 is release that will always remain an
Issue for us Titan guys.. 6.5 is meant for newer phones with more memory and cpu power,
but one way or the other we will have it running stable and clean on our little Titan
But yeah as stated before it’s a personal preference .. and I have personal loaded up
just about every ROM built for the Titan lol
For a M2D 6.1 ROM .. R4R 1.3.3 FTW!! For a none-M2D 6.1 ROM Skip's or one of the DCD’s
for WM6.5 well right now I am working on both lol build 21139 and 21159 so its all good
I need more testers
Another 1-up for Scrosler's (now bitserv's) Titan Reloaded M2D 1.3.3, which came out yesterday. It is a fantastic ROM. I used DCD's 3.3.4 for a long time, since it came out pretty much, and tried the 4.x series but I think it's still in the beta stage, and didn't suit me so I went back to 3.3.4. I wanted a ROM with TouchFlo and this is by far the best one. Big two thumbs up!

is there an easy way to find these roms other than looking through thread after thread to find a link that may or may not work i looked all morning for DCD 4.1.2.

Google is your friend. Wow I found dcd after two button pushes. Try googling "dcd 4.1.2: and pick the second link. then try the first download link. Most recent roms will be in recent threads.
I'm running Drellisdee's 6.1 Titan ROM.
Never been happier. It is quick and very stable.
FYI, DCD 3.3.4 had bugs in it that DCD himself realized that he couldn't fix and he abandoned it.
DCD 3.2.6 was stable, but the TitanReloaded actually is built on it and fixed bugs in it and freed up even more memory with a more optimized boot image, so if you want to run DCD 3.2.6, I'd actually recommend just using TitanReloaded 1.3.4 and disabling touchflo (M2D).
DCD 4.1 is beta, but DCD needs beta testers. If I had time to beta test other ROMs besides my own, I'd be testing one of the windows 6.5 ones, though.
Hi All,
Ive been looking through the forums and it seems there are so many ROMs to choose from..! Anyone 'tried & tested' and know which ones the best to install..? Ive currently on T mobile (UK) and dont want to have to do many patches after the new ROM is installed.... Any ideas please on the best ROM to install..??!
What does "best ROM" mean?
I think the answer would be that you go through the ROMs yourself and decide on what you like. No one can tell you what the best one is as different people like different things.
I personally use NRGZ28's EnergyROM (Great chef!) and have been doing so for a while now. In fact, from day two of getting my Serra!!
You don't have to do much after hard reset - just settings really.
Good luck!
I like Energy Rom,because this thing is FAST and almost bugsfree
You've got a choice between elite's Rom (Currently RC3, RC4 will be out very soon) or EnergyROM 2.0 I'd stick with RC3, as the dev team is actively engaged in support & bug tracking whereas NRGZ isnt much so.
It depends on what you're looking for... Right now I have RRE 6.5 with Rhodium Manila, it's very quick and has the benefits of both WM6.5 and the latest Manila port.
NRGZ28 builds awesome ROMs (fast, good-looking and stable) but so far they are only WM 6.1
Soon he will bring out his 3.0 (which is WM6.5) series which is very promising.
Elite ROMs are a bit too loaded for me, and I have found them to be less fast than NRGZ's ROMs.
My advice: Try and find out on your own, only you know what you'll like best.
There aint such thing as a BEST ROM. it is user dependant.
Why don;t you flash a couple of roms and the tell your experiences in the therefor opened threads.
And so you will also know what rom suits you most
good luck.
Modz close thread please
greetz,
the general
The best ROM is subjective. Have a look and find the one you like the look of.
Please read the stickies before starting a new thread.

I'm back
I am finally done with my semester and ready to get back into creating some ROMs. My phone is still garbage but oh well...
I am at the final stages of my two latest ROMs and need some solid testers like people who will actually leave feedback, available online through some IM program and who will not share my work yet (ROM, Graphics and some tweaks). Of course I will share my work once the ROM is in final stage. I want this release to go as smooth as possible and have try to have all bugs worked out before final release...
First up we have a WM 6.5 21725 ROM for all the WM 6.5 users out here. All of my usual tweaks plus a few more have been applied and all icons have been redesigned with a new custom theme.
WM 6.5 allows for more colors and other effects so I was able to show off my graphics work with the new enhancements
Next up will be a 6.1 flavor. So far it is built on build 21042 but that will change once the new Fuze ROM appears. It hasn't changed that much from my 5.4 series and most of the changes are under the hood with a few cosmetic changes.
If you would like to help me test please PM me. Leave your email, IM handle and what version you want to test. I am looking for 10 testers. Testing will begin tonight or on Saturday.
Sorry to confuse users with another "Phoenix" named ROM. I have named my ROMs Phoenix twice before ( here and here ) and not feeling witty enough to come up with a different name
Screenshots and other info will be posted after I get the screen shots and have dinner...
Carry on dude, i might not be able to test your ROMs sooner, but definitely looking forward to your new releases.
I am relativly new to this but I have tried almost all the roms out there and I am will tho give yours a go you just say the word. I am currently running 6.5 so let me know...

Glad to see you back man. Sorry, I can't test right now, but I will most definitely give it a try when you release it. I knew we hadn't seen the last of you.
just a question but what compelled you to use the name phoenix in your ROM ?
Nrg is currently using it and since you said you have "come back" i was wondering if you had it first . not trying to jump on you or anything lol but yea he's been using it for awhile
i.e.(((|RAPH|6.5|ROM|WWE| ** EnergyROM 3.0 'Phoenix' (21725) ** || Build date 52809 ||)))
Good to see you BACK!
Good to see you Back!
As before, i wold like to test your ROM...
(I am a student, myself... So, good luck at study!)
Let me know about your work, and i will report back!
p.s. there is ver 21046 (instead 21042) that you should check also.

Try clicking on the 'Hot Ass phone' link in At0m's signature; I think you'll understand why he chose the Phoenix (although I don't think his phone has actually caught on fire yet). And I could care less who came up with the name first, but when you drive your car over your phone, I think you get to name your roms whatever you want to, lol.
Welcome back! (And I may have to flash your rom so I can steal your new icons-I really like the older ones. I agree, they look great in the larger 6.5 format.)
yes ur back!!!!!!
i'll gladly beta test your roms (who wouldn't hehe ) i've been running 6.5 for a while and i sorta prefer original tf3d over tf3d2 just because it's much more reliable
ive never tested before but id be happy to give it a shot
sure i can, id be happy to give my feed back
thats afugin mazing ...... yea you can call your rom **** me running for all i care ....
Hi -- I'd be happy to test as well, I've got a FUZE. I used your last few ROMS and loved them, great work!
i've never tested a rom before but i do tons of flashing every week to search for that perfect rom...
If you can give me a general guide line on how and what i should be testing I'd gladly give it a shot.
Hey At0mAng, I am problaby one of the few people who is able to make your ROM freeze on a regular bases (using v5.4+Softbank Mail add on). I would be able to give your new ROM a true workout. I am kinda curious if the new version would fix my problems or if its the Softbank Mail app thats causing the problems. I am on IM (msn, yahoo, gtalk, icq, etc) for about 10 hours a day, so you can contact me pretty easily. Let me know if you want me to test it.
Thanks, love your ROM... your my last hope until I go back to the stock rom...
Edit: Heres the thread that has the info on the Softbank Mail app http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=482611
I'd love to give the rom a test, i'm on AIM just about all day so feel free to IM me whenever if you'd like me to test it out!
Good to know you're back
I'm more interested in the 6.1 rom.
As international user, we don't have the ability to use our local language yet, regarding 6.5 roms.
Good Luck!
Would love to test
I would love to help you.. Saw your older work and it was very clean... I am on skype IM all day including mobile...
I am currently running NRG 6.5 and would clasify myself as an old programmer, (new to Fuze) a (heavy talker) / (heavy emailer) / (moderate sms) user
I would enjoy testing your ROM. I have used your previous ROMs and have always found them fast and stable.
I would love to be a tester too. Love your roms, currently using the wm6.1 20771 version built with your kitchen.
Ok, now I wouldn't mind making my own ROM, but I started to follow the directions on how to do this, and is says to use some other ROM. Does this mean I can use say RRE's ROM and a new kitchen and use that, or am I missing something. I have a lot to learn I'm sure, but once I get started on this, I should be able to figure the rest out. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. I know there are some smart people on here
U need an official rom to dump and to work as a base rom, i advise the new 5.11.
Good cooking.
ahhh. Ok, where do I find the ROM's for 6.5? So, this 5.11, is this 6.1 or 6.5, and is this the latest official rom from htc? I just downloaded that one, and the performance for 6.1, actually seems good, even my choppy Peggle game is less choppy now, almost smooth.

5.11 is the latest Fuze ROM. It is certainly 6.1, but somehow (magic?) Da_G included core files into his 6.5 kitchen.
Then i think u should read a bit, start with Da_Gs kitchen, 6.1 or 6.5, your choise, cause in the end only should know what´s better for you.
Nice studying.
