What's the thickest battery that will fit into the original Wallaby casing? I am thinking about taking the cell from the HTC Universal battery and using it inside the Wallaby. From what I have seen the HTC Universal battery is 4.7mm thick and the battery for the Wallaby is 4mm thick. Do you think it will fit? Maybe .7mm is the casing of the HTC Universal battery?
There are plenty of back plates on ebay ie; battery door
But i have yet to find a front plate available, the only places that sell both are charging $60+
I have just bought an extended life battery for my orbit 2, Its the type with the extra backplate.
However the backplate i have got seems to be for the Touch Cruise as it wont hold itself in place.
Has anyone managed to buy an extended battery cover which fits thier Orbit 2?

I've been using my XDA Orbit 2 (HTC Touch Cruise) quite a lot and my battery can't cope and so I purchased a higher capacity battery from eBay.
The new battery is great, however it is double the thickness of the original and so comes with a replacement battery cover, fine.
The only problem is that I have a PDair leather case for protection and with the new battery/cover fitted it won't fit in the case.
Anyone come across a case that can accommodate it??

I do not know how thick your Polaris is with the extended battery, but I would try a leather case for Tytn or Wizard which are thicker than the Polaris.
I own a Wizard and Orbit 2, and the Wizard is a pefect size and thickness for a case if u have extended battery.
I'm wondering because the body glove case has some extra room it might take this battery without the extended back.

Maybe the 2300 is thinner than the 2600 Sedio?
I doubt it will work.. I have that back cover along with the fully extended one.. while on the top its as small as the oem, the rest of it is still as big as the extended one..
I want to use the Body Glove back if at all possible. I really don't want to go thicker than that.
