Need new earpiece - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Accessories

Hello everybody,
I'm not hearing anything when calling! Need new earpiece I think.
So far on ebay and alllll the parts-shops no earpiece replacement!
Can someone help? Is it maybe the same as an older type HTC earpiece?
Regards

Do you mean the hearing piece in the phone or a bluetooth ear piece?
If your looking for a handsfree kit...i suggest Jawbone. Very pricey though..

Wanted: Hero (GSM) Housing, Trackball, Front Speaker, and Digitizer Touchscreen

Hi everyone,
I would like to replace the following parts on my GSM Hero: Housing (scratches/dents), Trackball (up & left not working), Front Speaker (distorted), and Digitizer Touchscreen (minor scratches).
Does anyone know of any good suppliers for these parts? So far I have only been able to find suppliers for the CDMA Hero and a supplier that requires a minimum of 5 parts per order.
The trackball and the front speaker are particularly annoying to use and they are my first priority to replace, the other parts are just cosmetic butI figured if I was taking the phone apart I might as well do it all at once.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. I'm located in Canada.
hi, your trackball might not be broken...it might just have dirt in it. my trckball does that sometimes all you gotta do is spin it around a bit
you can get digitisers from ebay
Thanks for the quick reply! I spun it around for a bit and now it works in all directions! Now, the next most irritating thing on my list is the front speaker...crackles a bit during conversations.
Hi this website quite a few replacement parts of it.
http://www.globaldirectparts.com/HTC-Hero-Replacement-Repair-Parts-s/5502.htm
buying all that stuff might be as expensive as buying a new hero. The hero's price has fallen -50% since it came out. I'd consider buying a new one.

That was the site that I previously found but, you have to buy in bulk. The minimum order of trackballs is 5 and the minimum order of the housing is 2. It quickly adds up, maybe what I should do is start a Hero repair specialty shop

[Q] importand-for anyone who have x10..

hello everyone whos having x10 phone no matter what android V. or if it rooted or with costume room.
please let me ask you, Do you also have the annoying noises while you speak with someone in your x10 phone i mean the other person hear noises when you move your finger on the back of your phone..
cause the x10 speaker is so sensitive everytime i scrath the back of it the other person hear it like a wind noise but very loud while you dont hear nothing??? those pepoles ever said to you that the heard some noises like wind or something while you tooked?? thanks its important for me to know...
Ha, yeah my wife says my phone is noisy.
Sent from my X10a using The Force
Yes. All the time.
there is no way to fix it??
i have now commuter otterbox case but its not helping the noises cause it made of plastic and plastic make noises... like scratch
i recommend for all of you to buy a gel silicone case you know the cheapest case they made of silicone and rubber so no matter how much you move your finger at the back of the phone the other person dont hear nothing!! cause silicone dosent make any noises!! believe me
you can buy it on ebay for like 2-3 USD!-just search for TPU GEL CASE...

Aria in call problem

Ok
I have an aria, i replaced the screen.. when i make a call i cant hear the other person, but when i put it on speaker i can hear, I disabled the proximity sensor, what would cause this...
Its only temporary tho since i have an atrix 4g, but i dropped that in the toilet, i had a otter box defender case tho so it helped, but the ribbon cable came apart from the digitizer, so i ordered a new one, but waiting for it, so using the aria for now,
i can handle the speaker part, for now but just wondering what would cause this,
also incase it happens with the atrix 4g also.
Thanks guys.
It means your earpiece speaker is not connected properly. Speaker phone works because it uses the speaker on the back of the phone when you switch to speaker phone.
i see now, the earpiece dont have any wires, it basically just sits there,, but its not there, it must of fell out when i put it back togather, my wife has an aria, with a shattered screen, so i will just use that one ,
I had the same thing: Wife used Aria and shattered the screen. I ordered a new one, replaced it and I remember some black rubber ribbon fell out. I didn't give it much thought until I tested a call on it. So I took the phone apart, put it back in there and the problem was gone

[Q] Replaced screen, now no earpeice sound

I replaced my screen/digitizer/bezel last night. All went well except the power button wasn't sitting as high as it was originally. Took it back apart to adjust the tape and the button, put it back together, worked great. I tried to make a call this morning though and at first didn't think my call would connect. Pushed the speakerphone button and it was actually ringing. Tried to make a couple more calls but there is no sound from the earpiece speaker at all. I did read somewhere that someone ordered the replacement screen and it didn't have a speaker in it but I don't want to have to pull it all apart again just to check if it exists. All of the ribbon cables and such were there when I reassembled. Could someone tell me which cable it is that connects the earpiece speaker so I know where I should start looking for the issue? Thank you.
Never mind. I couldn't take waiting any longer for a response. I took the phone back apart to find that the earpiece didn't come with the new assembly. I did find 2 threads mentioning that it might not be but no where was it part of any dis/assembly videos that I watched. If you do get a new LCD screen/digitizer/bezel assembly make sure to take your old earpiece out of your old bezel. I read that someone else destroyed theirs trying to remove it. I took a razor blade and slid it between the earpiece and the bezel and it pried out without much issue. It is only glued in. No ribbon cable, just 2 little contact prongs. Make sure to save yourself the hassle and check your assembly before you reassemble you DNA
