Yes. All the time.

there is no way to fix it??
i have now commuter otterbox case but its not helping the noises cause it made of plastic and plastic make noises... like scratch
i recommend for all of you to buy a gel silicone case you know the cheapest case they made of silicone and rubber so no matter how much you move your finger at the back of the phone the other person dont hear nothing!! cause silicone dosent make any noises!! believe me
you can buy it on ebay for like 2-3 USD!-just search for TPU GEL CASE...

Hermes Belt Buckle ?

So I was sitting in the nosebleed section of Chemistry lecture today barely able to make out the slides at the front of the room when I noticed a funny looking belt buckle on my professor. At first, my impression was, "the dude's wearing a freaking open-faced cell phone (looked like a white Sanyo Katana) holder for a belt buckle!?"
Upon closer inspection it was determined that this wasn't the case, but it got me thinking about how this wasn't such a bad idea. Imagine if you wore your phone with the screen of the Hermes exposed outward on a belt buckle. How exciting would it be to send and receive text messages or surf the internet. Put on some tunage with your favorite visualization and hypnotize all the ladies! And keep your phone on vibrate for a little extra attention grabber the next time you receive a call.
I can't wait to pitch this one to my girlfriend...
And if anyone has found anything like this before, please share it for all to know!
Jestful regards,
Lancealot
Edit: I found this link on Gizmodo for an iPhone Belt.. enjoy
wow. I mean, what else are you going to say to that? It's cool. You could be the next quadrillionaire, just like the pet rock guy.

cool idea. I see a lot of busted LCD's in your future son.
nevermind. Saw edit
Nice but very bad idea at this time of hurry and worry. what if it got stuck and you are in the middle of emergency in toilet. Simple belt can be tear off or something. What if you are peeing and you got the call and suddenly you dropped and your pee answered the phone.

[Q] [Mini Pro] Battery case 'creeking sound'

Currently i'm in possesion of a SE XPERIA Mini Pro and i noticed that the rubber casing on the back of the phone can produce a annoying creeking sound while handling the phone.
Í'm wondering if i'm dealing with a faulty model or if it's a common problem.
Hopefully you guys can help me out
I've got that on a regular mini, you're not alone
same here
I have same experience. damn annoying after having the crack problems on my xperia x1. Seems to be same cheap toy build quality on x10.
creaks seem to be around the charger area on cover. checked some in local 3 and o2 store and looks much tighter than mine.
hope to see some covers on ebay.
same problem, vodafone ES branded mini pro
It's the same for my Mini Pro. Thanks for posting, I was wandering about the same thing.

+1 very annoying.
Mine too... very annoying (Mini Pro)
That's common problem, mine x10mini pro producing the same annoying sound... I'm wondering if I change the back cover with replacement from ebay what would happen. I'm looking for solution or ideas to fix this issue.

I solved the cracking by putting a small piece of paper between the battery and the cover. This way the small void space was filled and the sound stopped.
Placing a piece of paper did the job. Thanks for the tip!

Cool, the paper does the job
My SE Mini with black cover also makes creeking sounds when holding, it is very annoying. It makes more sounds when phone is warmer, for example after holding it in hand or in pocket. I put the included silver cover on and it makes no sounds anymore. When i compare both covers I notice that the silver one is more stiff then the black one. This explains more sounds.
Take care putting any metal stuff inside the case as it affects the compass. I wanted to use a magnetic holder for my phone, but can't as the compass doesn't work at all once I put a metal tag on the outside of the case.
I found some Vaseline around the corners of the case helps the creaking, just got to take care of keeping it clean as dust collects in the grease.
I have the same problem, I don't know if that is the case or the slider, but it is really creepy and annoying.
If i use the keyboard, i noticed the "Space" between the case and make a bit noise.
Have the same problem, specially during typing on the qwerty keyboard.. will try the paper insert thing, and improvise more later...

[Q] placing lead tape to boost weight

So I just had a thought about using some lead tape I use to boost weight of my tennis racquets to boost weight of the vibrant. I hate how the vibrant feels kinda cheap and hope adding some weight to it would make it feel a lil better. Would using the lead tape interfere with reception either cellular or gps?
Okay I am not trying to flame or be rude, but how does the vibrant feel cheap ?
Is it because it doesn't weigh that much ? The vibrant in my opinion does not feel cheap and most people prefer a lighter phone. Why would you want to add weight to something that is slim lined on purpose ? Do you really want to carry around a brick in your pocket ? Yes to answer your question, the tape would probably interfere with at least your cell signal, I don't know about the gps signal though. I personally think that this is a terrible idea. To each their own I guess though.
So not only will it feel cheap but hey now your really gonna make it look cheap lol
I agree with 1 part about the OP though.
The phone DOES look like it was made out of fully plastic... and thats why it looks.. cheap!
I mean look at ATT's Galaxy S ( was it the captivate? )
It has a hard matte cover, and it feels good to carry around...
Also HOW would it interfear with signal? If that were true, wouldn't it do the same with other bulky cases?
Then it would have bad signal, but with my case nothing like that happens... so idk
I'm pretty sure lead tape would kill your signal. After all, dentists and doctors give you lead filled aprons when you take x-rays, for the purpose of blocking the radiation.

Is your case made out of lead? It's got nothing to do with the bulkiness, it's the material.

Sorry sorry sorry!
Missed the lead part read right through it!
I suppose this would also give your phone added protection against superman.
Anyways, the lead tape would be likely to give you signal trouble, but play around with the placement and you should be able to find a way to make it do-able.
This is a pretty neat Idea, I might give it a shot myself, just for fun.
Ok so personally I think it's too light. I prefer some weight to my phones. Lets be honest here..people want a metal backed or mix of metal/plastic back. There was a thread about someone making them here. Also as was mentioned look at the captivate that feels so much more solid. As for the lead tape have you seen them before? Its relatively thin and I would be sticking them on the inside of the battery cover not on the outside. I have some cheapo battery covers from ebay I'll try it on. I'll report back if people are interested.
It'll ruin your signal, but your phone will survive significant levels of radiation!
There are some aftermarket back covers made of metal that make the phone feel more rigid and so if that's is a concern then go buy one of those.
As far as weight, the phone is engineered so well and to be this light is a real accomplishment. Nice to have a phone that is 50% lighter than my last, don;t need a boat anchor in my pocket.
As far as the lead goes unless it is actually covering up the antenna, lead will not hurt reception. People get confused about the difference between x-rays waves and radio waves.............

Otterbox Defender question

Ive had OB defender on my Rezound since I got it and ever since my wife has told me I sound muffled with the case one but once I remove the bottom part of the silicone she says I sound better. I've tried drilled a bigger hole for the mic but doesnt seem to have helped it. Anyone one know how to fix this issue. thanks

I have the defender, commuter, and the trident kraken, and the only one I sounded muffled on is the kraken, but cleaning up the hole took care of the issue for me.
Just tested the defender with my wife and no issues with voice muffling.
I have had the defender on my phone for about a month and noone has told me I sound muffled. Some have reported it as a phone issue if I am not mistaken. Never had the problem , but doubt it is just the case.

Holding my S3 makes a "crack" noise

First, my phone works fine.... this is not a big deal but it bothers me a lot.
A couple of weeks ago I noticed when I was holding my S3, lightly squeezing the edges or the back cover, the phone was making a sound like it's not well assembled.. like it is loosen... (like a low "crick" or "crack" noise inside or something)... I don't know how to explain it better..
Anyway I found out that if the battery is removed, squeezing the phone sounds just perfect, very well assembled with nothin loosen inside (no "crack" noises)... So its obviously the battery that seems to be causing this...
Is this just happening with me or its a ordinary problem?? Is there something that I can do to stop this?
thanks!
Check none of the back cover clips are broken or any hairline cracks in it.
Buy a Nice and cheap backcover from ebay. Maybe yours broke.

My SGS3 is international unbranded from phones 4u UK. Never Dropped. My SGS3 also has this problem.... If I press the back cover at the top in between the camera and groove for removing cover I hear a crack or creaking noise. it may be the part of the problem with the back covers when the phone was originally released, Although they said that was a problem with the finish. Doesn't bother me but it is why people are always slagging Samsung's design/build quality.
