Anyone seen one of these yet? I've searched high, low, and medium, nothing doing. I'm looking for one that replaces the current one IN the housing, not an external pen. I can use a ballpoint for that.
anyone find one?
thanks in advance.
Hmm not familiar with SPRINT
But here's some for the TILT 2

Can you take pictures of your stylus and also the measurements to see if I can use these on my T-Mobile version TP2 also?
Hey sanjsrik, if you get the boxwave ones, let me know how well the cap stays on (does it screw on, or snap?). I'm wondering if it will pull off when you're trying to take the stylus out of the silo. But otherwise, it looks like a nice item.

Heh. That explains why it wasn't on the Tilt2 page at seidio's site; I wondered about that.
I just ended up ordering this one from Expansys. It's only $13.99 for a 3-pack ballpoint pen/stylus combo. I'll post pictures and a review when they come.
http://www.expansys-usa.com/d.aspx?i=190736
I should point out by the way, this is the link for the 3-pack Sprint stylus, they also have the ones for Verizon and T-Mobile. The links to those are at the bottom of the same page for this link.
12/19/2009. Four days and I have my styli. A three-pack for only $16 whereas the Styra for a single one is much more expensive. Stylus clicked into place which to me sounded very secure and not likely to move.

I'm currently looking for a pen/mechanical pencil/stylus combo. I bought one about a year ago that i used with my magician from Fry's but it broke after 2 weeks use. I'd prefer one that allows quick and easy switching between them, or if possible one with the stylus on the top of the pen. I currently use the eraser on my mechanical pencil while during work as a stylus but its fat and a bit hard to use at times.
So any suggestions?
Lamy makes multifunction pens: http://www.lamy.de/
(I'm planning on getting something like this as well)
Lamy Twin Pen IT is a ballpoint and stylus.
Lamy TriPen IT is a pencil, ballpoint and stylus.
Lamy 4-Pen is a pencil, ballpoint, stylus and marker.

A good site for stylli
Thanks guys, i guess i'll go with a Cross or Pilot as they're reputable companies. Hopefully the quatily will be better than that crappy $9.99 multi-pen I used to have.
where a cross?¿?¿
Here is one that fits right into the stylus slot:

BIC makes a relatively cheap one (so it's not a big deal if you lose it/break it.)

thats what i have also.. actually i have 2 of them, one for home, one for work, to big to carry around, buts its [email protected] comfortable! My kids had broke one of them, but i took it apart and repaired it pretty easy.. i would recommend this one also
The best pen/encil/stylus I have ever used is Rotring Trio or Quattro. They're expensive, but they last. Unless, you lose it. I've had my Quattro for over 10 years. Still functions perfectly.

One of the first accessories I like to buy for any new device I get is a replacement (fits in OEM silo) Pen stylus. I know the Touch Cruise is new, but has anyone seen any stylii that are pens and fit in the device?
TIA!
Hi - the TC comes with a spare or Expansys(UK) are selling some here:
http://www.expansys.com/a.aspx?i=159608&atype=Stylii
Though showing estimate delivery of 9 days from today...
Thanks for the reply. However, I am looking for a combination pen-stylus that fits into the existing silo slot of the Cruise. The link you provided was for stock replacement stylus which is not a pen.
Oops. Sorry. Will post again if I find what you need.
doubt you will find one, the size of the stylus on the touch cruise would surely be too small to fit a combination pen/stylus

Is such a stylus available for the Artemis? If so then it would NOT fit the Touch Cruise because the bit of black plastic at the end is a different shape but it would demonstrate that such a thing is possible because the overall dimensions of the two styli are identical. (I just slid my Artemis stylus into my Touch cruise and the diameter fits perfectly, the overall lengths are identical, and the only reason the Artemis stylus won't push fully into the TC is because the plastic bit at the end is longer relative to the overall stylus length compared to the TC stylus so it fouls the edge just at the last 5mm or so of travel into the device.)

haven't got mine at the moment but how thick is the stylus? 2mm, cant see how a mechanism for a 3 in 1 would fit in such a size

Definitely bigger than 2mm. I just held it up against a tape measure and the diameter looks to be just a shade over 3mm, probably about 3.2mm.

still think its not thick enough even at 4 mm, have you ever seen anything like this that is less than 1cm+

I have gotten (in the past) a 3-in-1 for every device I have had except for the collapsible KJAM stylus. One will become available for the Polaris. The stylus is not that much different from other devices.
Re my previous message, this will almost certainly NOT fully push home into the receiver on a TC (because of the different profile of the black plastic thing on the end) but it IS an existence proof that such a device is possible within the form factor of a TC stylus.

That's what we need. I am sure some US distributors will pick this up soon. HTC just needs to get the damn device out there in more quantities.
They will deliver to the us but it wont be cheap, probably about $60

Ouch. I love my pen-stylus combo's but not for 60 bucks. I'll wait 'til a US distributor comes along.
If i see anything ill let you know, am i right in thinking that the Polaris stylus is the same as the orbit 2 stylus
that looks sweet...can't wait for it to be avail. in the US!
i'm sure by this summer when the TC starts to become more popular over here we will start seeing alot cooler accessories for it.
It's just a matter of time...the waiting game def. sucks tho

If an Orbit 2 stylus is the same as an Orbit 1 then no, the Polaris stylus will not push home fully into the Orbit housing. Read my previous posts in this thread (including the one on page 1 of the thread) for details. If Orbit 2 stylus is different to Orbit 1 then I don't know.

Wow I love that!
I am looking for a black hard plastic case for my AT&T Tilt 2. I have found several in clear, but very few in black. I came across the Cellet Proguard on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/New-HTC-Touch-P...wItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item25576f72bc) but the pictures as worthless.
Has anybody purchased this case or a similar one? More importantly, can you show me pictures of it installed on your AT&T Tilt 2?
Thanks!
this one?
I have tried several black rubberized hardcases for TP2 (VZW), including the Seidio innocase, but this one from Naked Cellphone is by far the best:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=300357171388
more pics here in a post I made about Tp2 cradles:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4993317&postcount=26
Its a tiny bit thicker than the Seidio and is much better at protecting the phone from serious falls or bumps. Together with the screen protector Naked Cellphone sells, its a great combo.
While I do appreciate your reply and your pictures, you are using a Verizon version and the sole purpose of my post is for AT&T.

With a few seconds' browsing their store I found these.
I dont know if any of these will work for the AT+T version, but they also sell:
one for sprint TP2:
http://cgi.ebay.com/RUBBERIZED-BLAC...wItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item518d79938d
one for T-mobile TP2:
http://cgi.ebay.com/BLACK-RUBBERIZE...wItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item518cecaed0
one for plain vanilla TP2:
http://cgi.ebay.com/BLACK-CASE-FOR-...wItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item414a704371
Looks nice! shame there not shipping worldwide
I guess I'm just dense, but why won't a ATT Tilt 2, AKA Touch Pro 2 fit in the various cases that the TMobile Touch Pro 2 fit in?
For example the Piel Frama Touch Pro 2 case says that the T Mobile Touch Pro 2 will not fit in it.
So then I wonder, will the ATT Tilt 2 fit in the case from Piel Frama?
Does anyone know if the ATT Tilt 2 will fit in the case offered by Noreve?
And, finally, is it that the device really won't fit or is it that perhaps the charger or some other connection does not work with the different devices, while the device is in the case?
part answer
I think I can partly answer my own question and perhaps phrase it a bit differently. I did some comparrison Image searching in google(why didn't I do that first) and note that the T Mobile TP 2 has the buttons embedded a bit higher up on the lower part of the phone.
So I guess I could rephrase the question to be this. I see that the unbranded TP 2 is all in black where as the ATT has sort of a chrome ring bezel.
So are the buttons and placements of the device other than the reset button the same on the ATT as on the HTC unbranded?
Or said yet another way, will a ATT TP 2 work in any case designed for the unbranded TP 2?
From what I can tell they all have little differences. But I can tell you that I just purchased a really rugged case made by BodyGlove for my AT&T Tilt 2 and it was made for TP2, At&t, Sprint and Verizon models. http://store.accstation.com/chtctouccoc9.html The phone fits very nice and secure but the PTT button is covered but that's ok, I don't use it.
If you look HERE it will show you the size diff in the different Rhod versions

Ya, been using this case for a few days now and I love it. Yes it does add a little bulk but it more than makes up for it in protection. Also if it slips out of your hand you where not even trying to hold on to it.
Has anyone found a stylus replacement for the Note 3 (T-Mobile although not sure if the carrier matters) that also doubles as a real pen? I am always somewhere where I need a pen and don't have one and yet have my device with me all the time. I used to have one of these when I had a previous device and it was ALWAYS handy. Now that I have another device that has a pen, I figured I'll try to find a stylus/pen again.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Oh, I'm looking for one that REPLACES the existing Samsung stylus and actually FITS in the stylus hole, not one I can carry separately.
I've seen replacements on eBay and I know Samsung sells them also.
But about the real pen build in. I don't see that happening. The s pen is kinda rfid so I don't see how it will be able to fit a normal pen inside of it.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I had one of these but yes, it was for a non-RFID stylus for I think the Evo or something, it was a few years ago. I can't even remember what device it was for.
Thanks any way.
