My Nike is breaked - Touch Dual, MDA Touch Plus ROM Development

After one hard-reset the phone is break but I can put the phone on 3 color mode. My questium is:
- Can I do a Hard-SPL and after flash the PDA with one ROM in this case?

Hi viperbruno,
as i also quickly managed to stuck my phone in the bootloader mode when i first time wanted to update a custom ROM, after searching in the forums i got the right solution...
but, hopefully it helps, here are the steps i made:
First, download MTTY from http://taeguk.co.uk/xda/
run MTTY (set port: USB and baut rate to 115200) and then connect to your phone.
in the command line interface there type "BOOT" (without the quote marks),
your phone should then boot the ROM currently installed.
then, from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355730 ,
download "sspl-1.16-nike.zip", extract the file to your phone/memory card and
run it FROM the phone, you will then get into the bootloader mode again with "Jump-SPL" - now you can flash HardSPL (i used the HardSPL 1.22).
After installing, the device reboots and you again get in bootloader mode,
although this time you have HardSPL on your device - now you can flash a custom ROM of your choice, you find many in here ;-)
PS: this worked for me, absolutely NO guarantee that this will work on your device too.

hi viper ..is this method working? just in case my device in trouble sometime ...

how to reinstall the rom

Guys i tried to upgrade my imate jasmin, to wm6 the problem was that it started to upgrade the rom but the process was interrupted, when i tried to turn it on again it does not pass the initial blue screen that gives the info of the rom. The active sync does not work because the PDA does not connect to the computer and doesn´t pass from the initial blue screen.
Is there anything you can do, or the PDA is to the trash.
Hope you can help thanks. http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

Bro. Try the methode found in the sticky:
FLASHING TOOL For all nk.nbf (WM6.1), 3 color bootup? SOLUTIONS ... in
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353547
In ur case, although the connection seem disabled, we could still force the activesync to work for flashing. Just right click the activesync icon in lower right corner of ur pc, choose connection, force it to search the usb. retry once or twice if u r not sure, then try to reflash the rom while the activesync seem still searching for devices. If it won't start, then the better way is to follow the step from Dioxda2 above. If it started halfway as before mean u have to re download the rom with its all suitable methode such as Hardspl, jumpSpl etc.
This work on my Dopod 818pro while stucked on 3 colour bootloader screen. Hope it will work on ur case too. Good luck.
thanks bro, hope it works, i will tell you later if the pda is back online

reading wiki is really hazardous to our health.
make sure ur device hv HardSPL installed.
Put ur device in bootloader mode, flash the rom.nbh file using raphael ruuwrapper.
Look at this:
http://htc.back2basic.shacknet.nu:8084/
There you can find a Dutch manual about flashing your TP.

Dear friend,
Use the fastest, simplest and safest method:
1. Flash Hard SPL
2. Rename the nbh file of the desired ROM after RAPHIMG.nbh
3. Copy it to the root of your SD Card
4. Enter bootloader mode [press vol. down and soft reset]
5. Follow on-screen instructions
Good luck and cheers.
hello Kevlar-Source
i have found the problem i can't flash with windows vista it dont work now have i done what you say on the storage cant and flash ik whit windows xp and it's works
thanks
PROBLEM SOLVED
did u follow the steps exactly? also make sure to remove sim card before flashing hardspl.
Works with Vista, no prob!
What i did wrong, was that the folder was not empty with just the loader and rom... Took me a while
I hope you take the manual by the letter, you should be able to upload the rom. You must also use a USB-cable to flash the phone! Don't forget to have the "Mobilitycentrum" open.

[Q] Please help - Vital mistake made while flashing rom

Good evening all!
It seems that I may have made a mistake! Either that or my mind is to tired to think strait! Please help!
Firstly, after having several successful attempts at flashing custom roms/radios and experimenting with my device, I thought I had finally found the ROM of choice! Here's what I have done: performed a task29 run to clean up any straggling files ... normal process right!? No! I forgot the most important step to the process before totally wiping all information off my phone. I formatted my SD card without adding any type of rom to my device before running task29. I've tried running the customRUU tool from my PC and have had zero luck. My phone attempts to boot with none of the red text in the loading screen and just hangs. I can enter the bootloader screen but I still have zero luck on getting anything to work from the customruu tool.
Any information that anyone could willing provide would be greatly apprecaited!! I apologies for wasting anyones time!
Thanks in advance,

Dude, you should be able to hold down the volume down button before powering on the device. You should get to the bootloader screen with no issues and be able to establish an ActiveSync <--> USB connection from there with your PC and flash using the CustomRUU.exe tool.

Next time use FlashaholicRUU as it will perform task29+flash the ROM.. (won't let you proceed if you don't include an .nbh)

That's what I thought as well ... I have my device connected via USB, looking at the bootloader screen as we speak and it's still not showing my anything under ActiveSync. I've tried installing a different Radio as well, still no change.
Here's exactly what I'm looking at on the bootloader screen:
PB81120 SS-B3
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0X05
CotullaHSPL 0X50
USB
That's it! I can attempt to boot normal as if I were just powering on the device and I get the white "stick together" t-mobile splash screen.

I tried using FlashaholicRUU just now. I was able to perform the task29 process successfully, I held the volume down button at 100% and let the phone enter into the bootloader screen. I then continue with the on screen prompts from PC to start the ROM update process ... only for the update utility to tell me;
ERROR [240] : FILE OPEN The Update Utility can not open the requested file. Please check your update Utility.

Update:
I was finally able to get it flashed and operational. I found a ROM that had a customRUU packaged with the download and a good radio. I used the Utility in the package and all is working now. Not to pleased with the ROM but it's only temporary. Thanks a bunch for everyone's help and input.
Excuse me while I wipe the sweat from my forehead!

Q: Dead rom on HTC Touch pro?

Hello, I got the touch pro, which dont loading WM, bootloader but just right. As I have previously owned MDA Vario IV Since I've recorded through the official RUU ROM. Unfortunately, whatever I'm doing what I do on the phone boot up the WM. Tastes just turns me the bootloader does not need to even hold a button, it just simply connect to your PC or simply turn on. The RUU I wrote just empty words Current ROM. When I will continue, flash rom there, perform a restart and again I only bootloadri. Is it still possible to repair without service? Thanks.
Sorry for my english, only google translate.

[Guide] How to Downgrade, install RSPL/HSPL and install a custom ROM TUTORIAL

Ive opened this thread coz many people are finding my tutorial usefull
so here goes and if it helps let me know and give me a thanks
Hi i was new to all this and installed dynamics v2.0 fully unlocked rom the other day and this is how i went about it
download this
RUU_Mozart_Orange_UK_1.24.061.35_Radio_5.50.09.18_22.24.50.09U
http://www8.zippyshare.com/v/48117282/file.html
this is a load your phone back to 1.24
to install it i did this
turn phone off hold down volume down and turn phone on you should go to the bootloader screen then plug in your usb cable to the pc,
then on the white line at the bottom on phone screen should say usb instead of serial but maybe it will need to install some drivers cant remember 100%
when it is ready open that file and click the RomUpdateUtility.exe and follow the steps in that then you will have your phone back to 1.24
next you can follow this post here and download the attachment at the bottom named DFT_XSPL_WP7FG1.rar this what u need for this step
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195647
basically this is the install procedure u may need to install active sync (XP) or windows mobile device center (vista and 7) but i did not have to my phone automatically did this
DFT_RSPL_WP7FG1_LAUNCH allows you to load RSPL on the device:
1. Extract ALL files from RAR archive.
2. Run DFT_RSPL_WP7FG1_LAUNCH (with administrative rights to access USB)
3. Mindfully reads information text. Press “Next” button.
4. Reset your device and hold “Volume Down” button during reset to enter OSPL mode.
5. Connect your device to PC via USB cable.
6. Now you may need to install proper USB drivers. They come with Active Sync / Windows Mobile Device Center.
7. Install drivers if required.
8. Make sure device show “USB” at the bottom instead of “Serial”.
9. Press “Next” button in the wizard. It should detect your phone.
10. If you are using WCEUSBHS driver under Windows Vista/7 (for MTTY or MAGLDR TTY for example), you should apply “Windows XP compatible mode” in the properties of EXE file to get connection.
11. After successful connection it should show device codename and allows to choose installed OSPL version.
12. You should look at the screen and select OSPL version in drop down list box. You need do this because it’s not possible to detect installed version via USB.
If your current SPL version doesn't present in the list, you can choose nearest version,
BUT ONLY IF IT HAS SAME FIRST NUMBER!!
Example: You have 4.XX on the device. Do NOT choose 1.XX 2.XX 3.XX.
13. Press “Next”. Wait until comes final page.
14. Read and close window
15. Look at the device – it must reboot to RSPL.
16. If you see RSPLX.Y.Z and “CotullaRSPL” on the screen – the task done! Otherwise, please report in this thread about your problems.
17. Put some feedback in this thread for community and developers.
Installing HSPL
DFT_HSPL_WP7FG1_INSTALL allows you to install HSPL on the device:
1. Launch RSPL on the device like described above.
2. Be sure that you close RSPL wizard window.
3. Run DFT_HSPL_WP7FG1_INSTALL.exe (with administrative rights to access USB)
4. Mindfully reads information text. Press “Next” button.
5. Proper drivers already must be installed in RSPL step.
6. Press “Next” button in the wizard. It should detect your phone.
7. If you are using WCEUSBHS driver under Windows Vista/7 (for MTTY or MAGLDR TTY for example), you should apply “Windows XP compatible mode” in the properties of EXE file to get connection.
8. After successful connection it should show device codename and allows to choose HSPL or OSPL version to install. OSPL means you install stock SPL back.
9. Check device codename, if something wrong turn off computer and run to the nearest forest. Grab some water with yourself.
10. Press “Next”. Wait until comes final page.
11. Device will reboot and start to boot OS.
12. Reset it and enter SPL mode again. Be sure there HSPLX.Y.Z and “CotullaHSPL” appear.
13. Put some feedback in this thread for community and developers.
Now u are ready
you can find what custom rom you want i used dynamics v2.0 which can be found here and its fully unlocked aswell so all i all im pleased with it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1520352
download it and install the same way we installed the 1.24 rom in the begining of this post
turn phone off hold down volume down and turn phone on you should go to the bootloader screen then plug in your usb cable to the pc,
then on the white line at the bottom on phone screen should say usb instead of serial

tell me the firmware version please and ill try help u its in settings then about then advance on your phone if I remember
Oh also do not extract the 1.24 from the .rar file run everything from there

now dont open active sync or mobile tools as it says on the program information
just click the tick boxes and continue through the process
maybe try download the rom again found this
ERROR [208] : FILE OPEN
ERROR [210] : FILE READ
These error messages indicate that RUU lacks certain important files and cannot continue with the update. Please get the complete RUU package again.
but like i sed i have downloaded the file myself and it is working for me without any problems

My firmware is 2250.21.40600.61,hope I don't need y cables for this version..
I see the multi coloured screen, and once plugged in to my pc it says usb at the bottom..
Strangely the 1.24 rom update works sometimes and not others, can you remember when you do done it, did it tell you want version currently on? because it didn't for me, I pressed next until update screen and was on 0% for bout 6-7 mins, my phone also displayed the same, how long did it take roughly
As regards to the Dynamics rom update.exe ( I opened with no phone attached ) It says welcome to the advanced rom update utility for Htc Mozart below that are, two ruu options.. regular (this is default) and below is custom I was thinking or using logic that I don't think i have hehe.. that the custom would be the option? or leave it
I really appreciate your help on this, I have installed many custom rom on android, but this windows phone grr annoying but I wont give up.

have u tried a hard reset first and then see if it helps with the installation
ill search around for your firmware and see if there has been issues
