The Beejive "Invalid Character" error can be fixed by deleting Jivetalk.sdf, but you loose your history and account settings.
To keep history and accounts, go to Advanced and "Delete Key".
Exit and restart - activate key.
Should be running again

I had a problem with [email protected], whenever I wrote a new SMS and selected the contact recipient, the phone stripped + from the beginning of the number (all my number are in international format - eg. +420 608 888 888)
it was such an annoying thing...
now I got a workaround, instead of going to Inbox -> New, go to Contacts and from the popup menu on the contact, select Send SMS, the number remains, the + sign remains
Not a definite fix, but made my life a lot easier
I've got an issue that I can not seem to resolve. Whenever I connect online using the sprint #777 number, I can not turn it off. I used to be able to turn it on and off through Comm manager, but now, it just tells me to "Tap here to set up data connections." Also, I never had an "Outlook Email" account in my messages folder, but now I do. This happened yesterday when I used activesync for the first time. I don't have Outlook installed on my computer and have no need for it. This Outlook email account is now set to my default and I am getting frustrated over these two items. Any ideas?
Here is a link describing how to remove the phantom outlook email account.

As for the PC connection open settings in the start menu, choose connections, choose usb to PC, make sur that the ActiveSync button is checked, and you may want to disable the enable advance network funtionallity, and see if that does not solve the problem.
I came over from EVO 4g and whenever someone left me a voice mail, I'd see the number of messages overlaid on the voicemail icon on my home page. If I had 4 message the number 4 would be overlaid. When I pressed the icon, it played my messages from some storage location on the phone, not by calling into voice mail.
Now when I get a voice mail message, I get an obscure looking text from a 9016 number. When I click on the voicemail icon (widget) from my home screen, it says I have no messages. If I call into voice mail then I can get my message.
What's up, why don't I have the counter anymore and why aren't my messages not stored on my phone anymore? I'd sure like it the way it was... is there an app for that??
OK, I found the answer in an obscure place, but it worked for me and I have exactly what I want! This was taken from the Sprint site.
Having VVM issues (getting a text from 9016, and you use Handcent)?
We are in contact with Handcent, still trying to connect with Go SMS. Use these instructions if you are having the issues.
If you have Go SMS you will need to disable the "disable other text notifications"
If you have Handcent, you will need to go into Handcent, press menu, settings, application settings, default messaging applications and then check "disable".
•1. Go to dial pad and hit *38 Talk to cancel any call forwarding.
•2. Power off the device and remove and replace the battery and power back on.
•3. Update profile by hitting Menu – Settings – System Updates – Update profile (try to leave yourself a VM)
•4. Go into the visual voicemail application and compose a visual voicemail message (Hit Menu ••à Compose) of 5+ seconds and send to [email protected].
•5. Test to see if visual voicemail is working again, and if the top 4 items above do not solve the issue, I recommend you call *2 and talk to a Sprint Customer Care Representative. Typically if Visual Voicemail is not working, it’s related to the initial provisioning not getting setup properly.
how do you disable "Automatic Sign-in" in the stock internet browser? it keeps telling me its available and gives me the option to log in. I've unchecked the Remember Password box under Settings/ Privacy and Security, but it keeps giving me the option when logging into GooglePlay. It asked me initially if I wanted to remember the username and password, now I want to clear it out.
For those who are new to this driving mode that they see in notification:
Settings > Language and Input > Text to Speech Output > Driving Mode > Message (Read out senders' information when new messages arrive)
= basing on what i've found in threads for previous versions, this is supposed to read out only the contacts name if it exists on your contact list, if not then it reads out number but doesn't read out the whole message.
i haven't gotten this to work on my sgs3.
Settings > Language and Input > Voice Search > Show body of Message(Show body of message when new message arrives while Driving Mode is on)
i haven't gotten this to work on my sgs3.
now for those who wonder how to enable reading out the whole message:
open svoice and leave it on background, since svoice needs net connection to run enable wifi or data.
= this one i was able to make it work. it reads the contact's name and/or number then reads out the entire message afterwards.
Settings > Language and Input > Text to Speech Output > Driving Mode > Unlock screen
this reads the time and temperature from accuweather and number of messages and missed calls.
anybody got that "show body of message" to work?
Worked for me but thats stupid that it requires svoice to be functioning in the background.
