Hey, I've been looking around for a case to use when i go to the gym. Maybe something that can strap around the arm?
Any ideas, or suggestions?

What? What does an armband have to do this looking like an iPhone. There are valid reason to want an armband. Running or going to the gym are time when an armband might be useful.

I was going to make this exact comment, but I didn't know how useful it'd be to helping the OP(and me) find an armband for my phone.

I use this one. Not bad, just got to wear your phone upside down since there is no hole at the bottom of this case:

Time to bring this thread back from the dead!
I have been looking for an armband for a while. Is that one good? It doesn't have a way to close at the top, couldn't the phone fall out?
I found that same case on eBay for $11 shipped.
http://cgi.ebay.com/BLACK-ARMBAND-P...wItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item2558426b9e
This phone is thicker then the iPhone by 4mm but could it fit in an iPhone case? I might swing by the store tomorrow and try sticking it in one.
Yes, the Tilt is tight in the sleeve. But I haven't had any issues with it falling out during my workouts, etc. I think the sleeve actually is an iPhone case, but I might be wrong. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
im looking for one that has another slot/compartment for cash. nothing too big, just a little slot.
I have been on the hunt for a armband that I can use that I don't have to take the bodyglove case off that I use. I have tried a few of the stores around my area and they are all made for iPhone and with the case on they are all just to small.
That armband on eBay looks great. Just worried about water getting in if it started to rain while running. Suppose I going at least hold it upside down if needed till I got home.
I think it makes sense putting it in upside down so you can glance down with it on your arm and read the screen if needed.
Now...any recommendations for some decent application that displays speed, distance run and tracks my route for uploading to Google Earth? Saves buying a Garmin 405!

Try Endomondo - it uploads automatically to its own site and you can extract the track info from there. Mine's been off a little bit with my TP2's GPS chip, but I don't know if that's the chip itself, the software, or the fact that I run with my phone in the pocket of my shorts.
I am looking for a protective sleeve that also has a built in strap to hold the device one handed. The Sleeve360 (http://sleeve360.com/) would be ideal if it fit the TF. Does anyone know if anything similar exists for us or am I going to have to build my own?
(I know of the Helostrap, Padlette, and Handeholder options but I am looking for more)
Thanks in advance!
I actually just made a paracord strap for my TF. Made a nice braid, and it works nicely. I didn't measure anything, so it is a little to long, but I may post pics once I'm back from vacation in DC, which is the reason I made it
Bump. Anyone found anything like this? Swift, have you had yours fall out of the holder with your home made strap?

Nope, I did a really quick and crappy job though. Just punched two holes into a portfolio case I have and then used binder clip handles and carabiners to link it to the strap.
Just ordered one of these from ebay? £20 with free delivery. Anyone got one? How good are they? Mine will be going in my van so I can use sygic for satnav and for music.
Let us know how it works, I have been looking for something like this for the exact reasons you are.

Hi Wounded.
Got the mount this morning. All I can say is, well worth the money. It has a long flexible stem, idea for long dashboards. Twin suction cups. The part where you put your transformer is removeable, leaving just the suction cups and stem in place. Came very well packaged and fast delivery.
I will post some pics tommmorrow. Works very well with Sygic. I plug mine in via 3.5mm jack lead to stereo and wifi tethered to phone.

[/B][/B]A couple of quick pics.I will post some more in van later.
Did you have the cracked windscreen before or after you attached to TF to it?

LMAO, they were there before. My boss is too tight to have it replaced.
The mount on the other hand works very well. Very pleased with it.

Quality idea
The above wouldn't be legal in California, due to it being attached to the front windshield.
I've ordered this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VG6LDE/ref=oh_o00_s01_i02_details
(Satechi ST-TP01 Car Holder Mount). It was $30 when I ordered it.
I'll let you know how it turns out.

That would be an issue here in the UK as it is in front of the heater grill and we need that grill for heating here, not air con, lol, thus it would heat up the Eeepad (not good)
Thats a good point about the heaters...but it depends where they are situated. The OP's setup would have the same issue if the vents were in the same spot.

I see what your saying here, and thought about this very issue when initially deciding where to place mine. I have now settled on a pretty central location with the base of the TF just above the display of the stereo. Vision is good, no obstructions. Having used it for a couple of days, I have now gone off the idea of using Sygic for Satnav and have changed to Co-Pilot and to be fair, seems to be working alot better. I was finding Sygic to be slightly behind when driving, not a great deal, but for a picky person like me, it was enough.
Hi man,
Was looking for something like this, your confinced me to buy also one, can't wait to get my hands on it. Much better then my 3.9 (or so) inch phone, thanks for the topic and the information!
edit:
can't find it on ebay? Only find some with 1 suction cup.... also found this on DX:

Anyone who have this one?
is there a link for the dual suction cup one?
I may be interested in getting that myself

the DX one? I don't think it will hold it if you are not driving on a flat (tarmac) surface.... so I am looking for a more stable/secure one
ps why do you have your internet speed in your sig? is that high in the USA?
I got this one from ebay here.
I have tried this on most road surfaces: Tarmac, concrete, off road(I mean really bad roads). Not had a moments bother. The dual suction cup works really well. Added bonus of being able to remove the part which you put your TF in and leave the stem still attached. The stem is bendable, but stiff so not to move whilst holding the TF.
Like I said, very happy with it and worth the money imho.

THanks for the reply and link! Can you explain how the mount works, or make a photo of it without the asus in it? because it looks like there is no support on the bottom of the device? and how do you clip it in? Hope you can help me buy one
i don't think I would trust suction cups in general. Back when I had an Ipad 2 I picked up a mount that attached to the car seat. You basically loosen a bolt, and it mounts in between the bolt and the seat, you tighten it back up and that's it! After I picked up my tf I tried it out in my car and it works perfecttly. I guess I can't link yet.. but I found mine at mount guys dot com, but I've seen similar ones elsewhere.

Here you go, a couple more pics.
The mount itself isn't just designed for the TF. I think it is universal. The sides are adjustable and release the TF via the switch underneath.

Not sure where to put this since it's a question about accessories, so my apologies is this is on the wrong place.
I'm wanting to get a waterproof case for my beloved Rezound. I just want to use my phone in the shower (read news, watch a movie, etc). Disposable solutions are a no go, as are zip lock bags and silicone. I'm looking for a real case. Bonus points if it's easily removed to switch back to a regular TPU case when I don't need it.

Dude you must take the longest showers! Who watches movies in the shower? Just put a TV in the bathroom!
I think we all will bet what kind of "movies" he wants to watch in the shower.
I was gonna say what con said, maybe you should use magazines?

I have one of these and it is great for the beach or on a boat. Not a snug fit case and not pretty but works and cheap.

I was thinking of buying this one or the sports version of been all around the web trying to find reviews on overboard, but haven't really found anything reputable... currently i'm using the extended battery and wouldnt want to have to switch to the stock battery to use this case... so my question is... is it possible to use the rezound with extended battery in this OB case... or at the very least the stock battery with the cruzer tpu case for some added proctection inside the OB case... any input would be EXTREMELY helpful... thanks and have a great day... also i'm glad i found this forum... i usually troll android central.. but will now start coming here as well...

that's cool but I wanted to use it when i go running or cycling... that's why I wanted to asked the fella who posted before cause i'm curious how they were able to get it to turn on with the difficulties of the power button through the skin of the pouch... everyone with a rezound knows how difficult it is to press the power button sometimes...

Hey Guys,

You should just use a universal car mount so you don't have to fumble around with a case everytime you use the gameklip.
