Animated clocks on android 2.1 sense ui - Hero, G2 Touch Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hey XDA
since a week i got my HTC Hero, and i just found a vid on the sd-card which is showing animated clocks.
i have flashed villainrom 3.4, and this one doesn't seem to have animated clocks :S
i saw a update.zip somewere on other forums.. but these where for android 1.5..
can anyone please help me with getting the animations back on android 2.1?

no animated clock for 2.1 at the moment... and probably not in the future. it's down to htc, they decided to deanimate it.

Missing on MoDaCo ROM for Hero

Did anyone noticed that some of animations are missing when u upgrade your Hero with MoDaCo's Custom ROM?!!
For example, when I bought my Hero, there was cool clock animation, u know when u unlock the Hero, the clock starts flipping until it shows the right time?!
It was really cool, and I miss it... and I need also this ROM.. its fast, good...
Is there any way to get back those clock animations? To make them work again?
It will be very nice if some one can make it happen!!!
Thanks a lot for your time
Hamo
this has been discussed, search for "flip clock". the flipping was taken by htc in some upgrade, not by modaco. he just adapted a newer rom for his version and thereby included the non-flipping clock.
ooo, i didn't know...
sorry for disturbance...
thanks

Ice Cream Sandwich questions....

A few questions about the upcoming version of Android :
- Will it have a rotate animation ? Since Honeycomb had one I wonder, as I always missed that feature. I couldn't find the info...
- Will the SMS app will be revamped ? I'm getting tired of all the third-party apps that are getting heavier every day. I would go with the current stock app if it was slightly more personnalizable (at least being able to set your profile picture). So I hope it will be updated in ICS.
- I see alot of live wallpapers of the stock ICS wallpaper such as this one. Do we know if those live wallpapers are actually copies of the upcoming stock live wallpaper or are they original creations ?
If the latest, which is your favorite ?
Thanks !
-rotate animation yes
- dunno
-should be have more live wallpaper. I'm not a fans of livewallpaper. I'm back to gingerbread after installed ICS for couple hours. I'll disable livewallpaper instantly after every install...

Mini pro Screen Off Animation on android 2.3.4

Hey guys,
I updated (finally) my mini pro to 2.3.4 today, and the CRT animation when the screen gets on suspense mode is gone now....
Is there anyway to get the animation back?
I kind of liked it.
Thanks...
Come on guys!
Am I the only one who liked this CRT animation?
i love crt animation too... and because of this I still use android 2.3.3
CTR
I hope Sony will reactivate this sweet animation soon.
Or if someone have a tiny idea about turn it on again (I don't not, by rooting and renaming/moving a file for that, checking a secret and hidden option, by painting my shocks in red...)
Thanks, and bye.
even i would lyk to gain that animation back in the new version itself

[Q] HTC sense theming question

I am running 4.0.4. The latest stock ATT version rooted. I had an old HTC aria with sense UI. Is there any way I can get it themed with the rounded gray dock launcher and all the trimmings? You guys know better than I do what I need and what the rest of the UI looked like. Pretty sure it was the release before gingerbread. Thanks guys.

[Q] Lockscreen

Hi there. Noob to Android so be kind to me! Is there a way to get a fully functioning AOSP lockscreen on Sense? I tried renaming HTC lockscreen and it does work somewhat. But I can't add targets or change the widget.
GE 3.2
Yeah honestly this was one of the main reasons why I flashed the GE 3.2 rom from Android Revolution. I just love the lockscreen. Only things I miss in sense are the camera and the gallery. If you find anything out let me know.
