Hi there. Noob to Android so be kind to me! Is there a way to get a fully functioning AOSP lockscreen on Sense? I tried renaming HTC lockscreen and it does work somewhat. But I can't add targets or change the widget.

Yeah honestly this was one of the main reasons why I flashed the GE 3.2 rom from Android Revolution. I just love the lockscreen. Only things I miss in sense are the camera and the gallery. If you find anything out let me know.

I saw this mod, which is an .apk for Sense based ROMs to disable the stock lockscreen and get the vanilla lockscreen for HTC EVO 4G. Is there any possibilities to get this ported to Legend? I prefer Sense-based ROMs rather than CM-based ROMs, but the Sense lockscreen isn't that nice as the vanilla one. Therefore it would be nice to disable the Sense lockscreen.

Vanilla lockscreen? No problem. All the extras for CM? Not right now. Just remove HtcLockScreen.apk and you'll get a vanilla lockscreen, you just can't configure it like in CyanogenMOD

Coming from Stock Android 2.2 lockscreen on my Hero (was using FroydVillain) the SGS2 lockscreen is really a big annoyance and I'd like to replace it with stock Android lockscreen. Is that possible ? (the phone is rooted)
Im not entirely sure, but I think there is an app you can get from the Market place called Widget Locker. You can customise your own Lockscreen doing that. I guess you could make it look like Stock Android if you wanted.
hi, is there any possibility to have an ICS AOSP lockscreen on sense 3.6 custom rom, I have the aosp notification bar but not the lockscreen. Iam on mwakious v.8.5 rom, which is really a great great rom, but without the aosp lockscreen option. leedroid tweaks is not fully working on this version. I hope this is possible and link me to a flashable add-in to this. thanks
I believe you can just delete the lock screen apk(fusion.apk?) And you should have the aosp lock screen. Its been a while since I have played with sense, so I could be wrong.

Incorrect. Delete HTCLockscreen.apk and the ICS AOSP one appears by default. There's another thread in the Themes section which has all that info.

I am not sure if anyone else has thought of this or wanted this. Getting some features over to HTC Amaze ROMS like the lock screen animation when you lock the screen it looks like a tv turning off. The way the lock screen looks the status bar just some features I found cool to add to a ROM.
Some roms do have that. NRG roms do.
Correction... GingerBread Energy ROMs have it.
For some reason it won't work on ICS Energy or anything based on ICS Sense. But the feature is there on CM ROMs.

I am currently working on a ROM now anyone know where I would find the file for the screen lock and lock screen?
I had a few questions about AOSP ROMs and such. Firstly, I know what an AOSP ROM is, don't get me wrong, but one thing I didn't know is if an AOSP ROM for the S4 came with the features the phone is supposed to have like smart scroll, air gestures etc. Do they, or is there one that does? My second question was, if AOSP ROMs do not include these features is there a way to theme the phone to look like AOSP or a ROM (other than Eclipse) that looks like AOSP but has the features of the phone? I really like the AOSP look, but I want the features the phone is supposed to have. Also, the reason I don't want to run Eclipse is because I've tried it and loved it, however, the clock with the owner information for the lock screen doesn't work (at least for me, the owner info doesn't show up) and I really want the owner info there. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
By its v very definition, those features are not part of AOSP roms. They ate proprietary to Samsung's TouchWiz overlay.
