Dont know whats happened, I have been able to flash custom ROMS for about 3 weeks now, and no problems. Now today, everytime I flash a new fom onto my phone, I get setup errors, and FC all the time.
At first it was just with the new [ROM][16/04/2010][Vanilla 2.1][VERY Stable][Fast Fast Fast] VanillaEclair 0.2JIT but now it is happening with EVERY rom..
Please help....
Ian
Error says Process system is not responding, and The process.android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. I am getting this all the time... HELP !!!
If you come from any 1.5 ROM you'll always have the FC.
If you come from any 2.1 ROM you don't have FC
Wipe - flash any 2.1 ROM -install-reboot- Wipe - Install VanillaEclair 0.1b
It works !
will this explain why I am getting this error on every ROM i try and flash. They all come up with FC errors during the 1st boot up..... it is as if there is a deeper problem with the phone, not just the ROM...
I am really panicking about this, can someone pls help.......

My phones been acting strange the past two days, but today it decided to die on me.
I was using alien #1 ROM, when I got spammed with error messages. My CDMA radio quit working, giving me the com.android.phone error
I decided to install another ROM, this time Cyanogen Mod 7. Same problem.
I did a standard wipe and install, fix permissions, everything.
Either its the Kernel, or my radio's shot.
If someone has any more insight into this problem, or has fixed it, please let me know
I'm getting a new phone next monday probably, but if anyone can fix my problem before then, I'd be greatful.
Also, Stock ROM link would be awesome.
No homebase ROM, please. I'd like the full stock ROM, bloatware and all.
Different, but similar Google seaches pull up nothing. Almost got hacked as well by a malicious ad.
Hi there I'm here to bef for your kindness and your knowledges about that silly little problem of mine.
A few months ago I've rooted/flashed my Neo V and changed its ROM for a custom one. No big deal at all actually but I then decided to switch to CM10 just to give it a try.
So here I am downloading the good archive for my phone (FXP-142), flashed my baseband for the -72 and changed my Kernel with the one needed for the ROM.
I wiped Dalvik cache shorty after changing Kernel to prepare the installation of the ROM, started the installation the screen freezed for a minute or so and then installation has been aborted. Error/Status 7. Ok no woories it does happen from time to time. Second installation, 4 minutes later, not a single information on the screen and then phone says that the installation is complete. Weird. I turn on the phone. Nothing works, just stays still on the Free Xperia project booting screen. No flashboot mode possible, just the recovery one in case I wanted to change the ROM. Tried several other ROMs compatible with my actual Kernel. Same thing. Ahem if at least I was able to change my kernel to go back to stock Rom or anything I don't know... If you have any clues about that.
Oh and BTW sorry for some pretty awful english mistakes, 1 a.m, still practicing english and a bit anxious about my phone I guess some things can't be helped.
Then thank you in case someone had any idea to solve this
Guys anyone? Seriously if I bricked my phone just tell me but don't let me stuck here waiting for a phone that may be bricked like a boss. If it ain't then show me your skills that would be much appreciated, you know?
Pleaaaaaaase help me ;_______;
maybe u can try fresh install with flashtool.
look in this thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678690
Or Maybe u can try PACman instead CM10.look this :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1614562
Well I'll give it a try and tell you whaz going on then Thanks
EDIT : Before fresh installing I tried the PACman ROM and hey it works.
Have you any idea why CM9/10 ROM weren't able to be installed? Each time they all said "Aborted Status 7" at first I thought I took the wrong model (hallon or haida) and then tried both on CM9 and CM10 with their respective kernels. Kernel installation was okay but when it comes to the ROMS, well Status 7.
At least I'll try PACman for a few days, nice bootscreen and all, I'll see by myself concerning for the other points.
Then again thank you megatpanji
Total Noob, not sure what I did.
Long story short, rooted my Galaxy Tab 10.1 wifi (p7510) tonight.
Saw a video on how to flash 4.1 onto my tab here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRjl7zh551w
followed the instructions from the video, it linked to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1787399
downloaded the latest nightly from http://get.cm/?device=p4wifi
(cm-10.1-20130124-NIGHTLY-p4wifi.zip )
and the gapps from mirror 1 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1787399
(gapps-jb-20120729.zip)
There was probably my mistake
In any case, i wiped everything, flashed the CM10 and gapps.
On reboot I got 2 error messages,
"Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped." ok
"Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped." ok (loops forever)
Now I have no idea how to recover from this point.
I tried to re-wipe and re-flash my old functioning ICS root and it still reboots into CM loading screen and setup wizard loop
Also, if i attempt to install zip from sdcard my options are:
0/
legacy/
obb/
legacy and obb contain no files and I have to navigate down a couple of layers of 0/ to reach my original root.
Probably screwed myself royally, but I guess that's how you learn. Any advice on how to salvage my tab?
Update*
Restore finds no files to restore
used odin for TWRP instead of CM, still no luck at restoring.
Won't mount USB, so I don't know how to transfer over a different gapps to see if that would solve the problem.
Revert to stock 4.0.4 through odin and start over. Probably be the easiest. I've had to a few times and yes it's how you/we all learn...
Firmware Here

I am in exactly the same situation as you, same build same gapps, same problem.
To help you out, in recovery (CWM) you can mount /data, then using adb on you computer you can push stuff to the "sdcard" via the command "adb push C:\Some\Local\File.zip /data/media/0/File.zip"
Same problem for me. I installed CM10.1 without gapps and it worked without problems. I also tried with different versions of gapps and give all the mentioned problem.
"Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped." OK
"Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped." ok (loops forever)
Does anyone have a solution to this problem.
Thx
Help required if possible!
Hello all, joined just to post here.
I'm having the same issues as detailed in the first post.
A lot of the solutions that I've seen recommend going into settings and turning syncing off but the error messages block me from accessing anything. It eventually just seems to crash itself and turn off anyway, which is probably due to being bombarded with error message popups.
Is there a simple way to fix this without doing a full reset back to 4.0.4 or is that my only choice?
If so then I'm in trouble because I followed the link that mrhiab provided but I can't see which firmware there is the one I need (wifi only galaxy tab 10.1 P7510 uk).
Is the cause of this problem that the version of gapps I installed is broken and causes errors as it worked fine without gapps?
If anyone can answer any of those questions then I'd really appreciate it. I've semi broken my girlfriends tab and she's not too happy lol!
UPDATE/SOLVED:
Just thought I'd comment back and say that I've solved the problem.
I simply reflashed the CM by putting the tab into install mode again but didn't add gapps. After rebooting I noticed that it worked okay so I tried to find another release of gapps and tried that...it worked perfectly - no errors no nothing!
Sorry for the initial noob-post!
same problem as you
sir ... i also have the same problem as you ... i've been searching on almost all sites ... still i can't see any issues that can solve my problem.1st was "unfortunately, google.com.pro ..." then next was "unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped." this results everytime i reboot my galaxytab 2 10.1 .. im on JB 4.1.1 .. and i just followed the guide of sir codeworkx. please lend me a solution.
BTW midgard .. how did you flash CM again w/o the gapps ? because when i go to install zip from sd card ... there's nothing in there .. just obb and stuffs said by the thread maker.
I will appreciate suggestions ... Thanks in advance
I hope some suggestions may come up eventually
I found a way on installing cyanogenmod 10 on my Galaxy tab 2 10.1 by not installing gapps at the same time while installing the CM10 .. but eventually, i found out i don't have any google playstore .. and that's when i googled on how to have one. I found a video saying i could have it by just going to there website via my tablet goo-apps .. then download the existing gapss for my JB 4.1.1 .. and then flash it .. but then again ... the error of the Unfortunately, setup wizard stopped came up again ... help
and thanks midgard !!!
Can I get help

I still have that "Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped" loop-message, can somebody help me please!
Hi there, ive looked all over online and on here for about a week solid now for a solution for this and cannot find one anywhere! My situation is.. im running gingerbread 2.3.3 on my S2 that I got in 2011. As soon as I got it I flashed the Lite'ning ROM to it. It worked fine up until christmas just gone and just all of a sudden started saying this error message when I tried to open anything, such as messages, contacts, google, camera etc..
"sorry the application ..... (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again"
So I have just been trying to get the phone back to orignal factory settings by putting a factory ROM on, or install a new custom ROM in the hope that this will solve the problem and get the phone working normally again. I used Odin and installed a custom ROM successfully (so I thought) but when I rebooted the phone I was still stuck on Lite'ning ROM and everything was how it was before. The same happened when I installed a factory ROM. I also tried to install a custom ROM via the SD card, but this failed everytime.
One other thing.. when I restore to factory settings while on the CMW and then reboot the phone.. nothing has gone, its exactly the same, with all my contacts, pictures and apps. I never knew it would be so hard to restore my phone. Im hoping someone here can advise me on what to do... Ive a feeling it might be to do with the fact the phone is gingerbread 2.3.3 and all the custom ROMs now are made for ICS or Jelly Bean? If so how do I get my phone to work with these ROMs. Thanks for reading and I really hope someone can help!

I think you should try a 3-files odin flash rom.
If you search in google for "Odin 3-files i9100" than you will find the rom
