[Q] sound will not work if the screen is off on HD2

I have a silly little problem. I put ROM Omega V25 XT with Co0kie's Home Tab v2.0 on my HD2. For audio and video playback I use CorePlayer v.1.3.2, which works without problems (tested on HD2 with the original ROM and the HD1 for a year now). The problem occurs when you switch off the screen, the sound just goes out though CorePlayer continues to work properly. In short the sound will not work if the screen is off. I tried the Omega v26 but same problem is present. Just don't know what to do. If you leave the phone and the screen turns itself off then the sound works but every 15-20s is interrupted. Does anyone have any idea. 3 different ROM did not help, reset did not help. Ideas?
I think there's a setting somewhere within coreplayer to set the sound to continue playing when the screen is off. Not sure though.

Option Play music in the background is active. The problem is that cell phone turns off the sound, but play still goes normally. After unlocking the phone can see that music still going. To reactivate the sound it is necessary to pause and restart music. If you use a player from the SENC and the sound works without any problems.
I have the impression that the ROM will shut down all applications to conserve battery which prompted me to turn off the power savings, but this did not help.

Microphone issue

Hopefully someone can help me with this issue.
When using the stock "Soundrecorder" tool i can record the first two seconds just normal yet right after that the recording-volume just decreases so fast that after one more second i cant hear anything anymore when playing back the recorded sound.
When i stop and record again same thing happens again. This is quite the issue also in Skype since ppl can hear me the first seconds and right after its like i turned the micro off.
Trying one thread bump again to get a respond from someone with similar issues before i hit a factory reset.
The problem is really something i have not seen on any other android device i own. You start recording speech and right after 2 seconds the rec-volume is NULL.
I mean there aint any settings for the sensibility the built in microphone records right?

[Q] Installed game...now audio is messed up!

I installed some bowling game on my Lumia 920. The audio on my phone now sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. I will hear a little blip of audio when a notification sound goes off but it wont play the whole sound. If I play a song I just hear little clicks of audio. I have since un-installed the game and I can no longer find it in the store even though I downloaded it earlier today (I was going to try to reinstall it to see if it would fix it) Any advice to get the audio back to normal without having to do a factory reset?
I have already tried restarting it, and doing a soft reboot by holding down volume down and power button to restart it. Every once in a while the audio will work fine...but then it goes out again.
*update* I can get music to play just fine through the headphones...but as soon as I unplug the headphones the speaker in the phone just clicks again.
Now that I play with it a little more the audio seems to work fine until I turn the volume up past 15 then it starts getting choppy?? Very strange!!

I think your problem is more related to the audio-jack / speakers of yours 920..but you can always try with hard reset before proced with hardware replacement
Thats what I was afraid of Its way past warranty so I guess unless anyone else has any ideas I will try a hard reset. If that doesn't work...i'll just have to live with it till I can get a new phone.
...and of course now that I try to do a factory reset I get stuck on the spinning cogs forever and its not doing anything....ugh.
Well..in case anyone else ever has this problem I finally got it to do a factory reset and i'm still having the same problem, so its not worth going through the hassle of resetting it. Took me about 6 hours to finally get it to reset!

replacement of headphones jack is very easy task you can watch videos on youtube...i'm not sure about speakers.
Well...apparently my phone was still under warranty. Brought it into a AT&T store...the sales guy made a phone call and they shipped me out a new phone right away

[Q] people can't hear me after screen replacement.

I got a new screen (glass, digitizer and lcd) so
After everything has been put in place, I tried the phone and everything seemed to work. Vibration, connection, sound, and touch screen. So I made everything close and I first set on my phone.
I was called but people do not hear me. Tried again, but people still do not hear me. When I got on whatsapp a voice message recorded but that just working so the mic is working fine. on speaker they can hear me to.
I double checked the cables but everything looks good. I also did a factory reset but no one can hear me..
Anyone know whats my problem?
I can replace the whole cable system witch is atached to the mic but i dont know if that is the problem because the mic work…
Find something interesting:
In the service menu i can test the first and second microphones. The first one record nothing and the second one records as normal.
The second one i find out it is the mic at the top of the phone.
So the first mic must be the one at the bottom.. Dead i think?…
There are 3 ways this could've happened:
1. Just a software glitch. Unlikely, but it's worth doing a factory reset.
2. Mic broke when they changed the screen.
3. They forgot to connect the mic that's not working (if it's a connection and it's not directly on the m/b)
Option 2 and 3 require reopening the phone.

Main speaker stops working: fix

Hi. I have a J7 2017 (SM-J730F) since it was released, and there is a problem related to the main speaker that has happened to me several times.
Sometimes, the speaker stops working. Headphones, Bluetooth speakers and the call speaker work perfectly, but the main one doesn't play any sound. Instead, if you listen closely, you will hear a low static noise when something is supposed to be played, and like an electric sound when the sound is meant to be stopped.
If this happens to you, maybe you have noticed that rebooting the phone won't fix it, even in safe mode. But there is a way to make it work again: just turn down the phone and wait a couple of minutes before turning it on again.
If you have other problems with sound and/or other possible fixes for it you can share it here, so somebody may find it helpful.
Omfg thank you I thought the speaker was dead

You're welcome
It must be a software problem
It works!
That is right.
This problem occurs after you do the root.
Power off and wait for a minute or two, then power on is enough to fix this problem.
Note: This problem always occurs when you do soft reboot with a third-party application, but it does not occur when you restart in the normal way.
I liked to share my experience with this problem.
Anyway, thank you.

I've never rooted my phone, and when this happened to me my device wasn't even rebooted. It's more like a software issue, and Samsung must fix it.
But the important thing is that this fix works to everyone, so you're welcome
Recently, my J7 Pro speaker went from loud to small even though I put it on Maximum Volume, does anyone know any solutions to this ?

If you have Sound Assistant installed, check that "individual apps volumes" are set to the maximum.
