I just updated my husbands touch pro from the ROM version 1xxxx to the 2.01. I got that from the HTC site. I was wondering if there was another update that would allow it to have windows version 6.5?? I have the pro 2 and he very much likes the layout. I'm confused to reading this forum because I don't understand some of the technical words being used. IF someone could direct me or let me know, I would really appreciate it.

Hey guys, just joined your community and the pocket pc community all together.
I just ordered my HTC Nike (Touch Dual) from bell, and upgraded to unlimited data. I am told by others I work with, that romming is 100% necessary to get the most out of your phone.
I am just curious, is there a rom out there that is more heavily used than others? I see quite a few threads for different roms, and I honestly have no idea which one to go with.
To be safe I perfer to go with the flow, and do what everyone else is doing =p So if there is a rom that is considered most popular or has become the standard, can someone please point me in the right direction?

I need a stable rom that will unlock the ENTIRE functionality of the device, I have not yet received it, its coming in the mail so im not sure the exact device version.

Im from canada so im not sure if it will be a neon or a niki. Bell is my service provider.
What I need most is all the features and applications locked out by bell to be unlocked and the ability to teather with bluetooth to my laptop for high speed.
I'll also be configuring it for ms exchange (Work related).
I have no idea how this rom stuff works or why there are so many or how to choose. All I want is someone point me at a good one for the above needs.

Are you serious...? This probably doesnt exist, and your not really looking at the right website. This is mainly for WinMo and a little Android here and there....
Why on earth would you want on on your fuze
The fuze is a great device with great ROMs why would you want a Palm Pre ROM for a fuze?
Its like puting windows 98 on a brand new MacBook Pro, now why would you do that??? try something like the EnergyROM I find it very stable and full of good tools and tweaks. Its also eye candy!!!

so i know that u can have a running android on ur touch pro but the cdma didnt work but look i found this at ppcgeeks http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=43753 u think that maybe it works for the tp? if not is there a working android ver here? iv been looking here and ppcgeeks, google, bing and not much luck....can anyone show me that way please? to a working cdma android if its out there thanks!
Probably not since you will still need the drivers for your device and the drivers for the Apache are completely different.
Go to this site, which has development for Android on the Raphael (the latest if I am not mistaken).

Ok i got my touch pro 2 from us cellular today and i have a couple of questions maybe someone could answer first does this version come with the equipment to do fm radio? Is there a flash player avilable i want to play the flash games on facebook and use flash on other web sites?Do i need to install opera or skyfire to do this? WHICH BROWSER IS BETTER? Best bet for the CDMA Touch Pro 2 would be over at PPCGeeks. Speaking of which, check THIS THREAD out for info concerning custom ROMs already being built from the stock 6.5 it comes with.

Well am using a HTC Touch P3452 (elf 100) phone, it is a WM 6.x
I have the .Net frame work 3.5 installed in it.
I need some help, as I like to install new kinds of s/w every day and test them.
First I think my Touch Flo or the so called Manila is a 2D can I install a 3D version if YES, link please, if NO, reason please.
Second Can I upgrade this WM 6.x to WM 7 if YES, link please, if NO, reason please.
Third Can I install HTC Cube which version if YES, link please, if NO, reason please.
Fourth I found a s/w xend-red-touchflo can this work in my phone, if YES, link please, if NO, reason please.
Fifth I had some problem with XDA-Wifi-Sharing s/w, I have posted the problem in a related thread, please help by reading my problem and giving me a solution.
I would also be highly obliged if all can send me a mail rather than just replying here so that I can expedite the process with the solutions.

1 . Manila 3d is the 2.5 version or higher, our machines don´t have the requeriments to run it, i think the minime resolution is vga, ours is qvga .
2. WP7 need minimum 1ghz processor, we have 208 mhz. Elf only can upgrade up to wm 6.5.5, but if you want, can install some interface with skins like wp7 with this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=649362, we use qvga version. there is other skins but for me this is the better.
If you want upgrade your device read this thread, this is the rom i use Onyx 6 rc14 with wm 6.5.5, really is faster than original rom. i recomend it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426540

Ok another thing mate, how to upgrade to WM 6.5.5, I guess my Elf is running on WM 6.1, am I right, or wrong, I guess this is the WM version which comes originally right.... Can you give me the link to upgrade it to WM6.5.5
