1. Easy Money - you get an automatic 500 gold balls just for adding 20 people to your friends list (through the "Celebrity" achievement). In fact...
2. Use achievements to earn gold balls - it will take you forever to gain them through the game. Just aim to get as many achievements as possible and you'll have uber gear in no time.
3. Control > Power - The hardest part of each pitch is actually hitting the ball to make it a homerun, not getting the longest distance. So while having lots of monster hits may sound nice, you can't really get them unless you hit a homerun. Getting items with CON will help with the accuracy of hitting homeruns so focus on those before PWR.
It's also important to note that once you get too much power, it becomes impossible to hit crashes and poles simply because your balls will fly so high and far it goes over both.
4. Timing is everything - The aiming cursor doesn't affect much the power of the hit or where in the field you hit it. Like with real life baseball, it's all about the timing. If you hit it too soon, you'll foul left, too late, you'll foul right. If you hit it perfectly, it'll go straight down the center. Practice your timing a lot and you'll soon get a hang of how the game plays!

This game is amazing haha! Plus coming from a Nexus, it looks stunning and is so much more fluid on the Vibrant. One problem though, is your batting area choppy while moving the phone?

+1 - This game is super addictive. I work in tech support and can have long periods of waiting around for a call to come in. Really loving the ability to play against my iphone friends here at work.
I just got the game and I agree! Its addictive!
Good graphics!..This phone can DO so much when it comes
to game visuals...I just wish they would make some good
games to compliment it..
My id is Damitu on the game. I have added the players in this

choppy aiming
for those with choppy aiming download android sensor data from the market, let it run for like 10 seconds, start the game up and dominate with smooth aiming
Add me. mcGSUS.
I recommend gradually moving up with equiptment. It'll be easier to string together combos when you have some power and contact.

Swing early to aim left and late to aim right.
As for hitting the balls just (obviously) try and keep your batting area where the ball is when it goes over the plate. I also found watching the ball shadow helps judge the distance.

Gradually move up to a certain level [you don't want your character to be really crappy but at the same time, you want to save money, so upgrade him a little, then save the money] Keep saving your money, they will go up quickly.
This game is so fun!
Does the dev still release updates for this game? I've read around that they are iPhone first, then Android. I don't want to pay $5 for a game that's not updated often. I love the free version and want to pay so I can play online without any restriction.

yeah, there are some bugs. it would force close once in a while. Also, I see some graphical glitches. It almost looks like the phone is overheating and I am seeing mad artifacts. But I found out it's the games problem not the phone. Is it worth 5 dollars? Yes. Will they fix it? Probably as it is a huge game both on Iphone and Android. Playing multiplayer without any restriction is worth 5 dollars in itself. Goodluck!

Thanks so much! can't wait to try it.
Pretty cool. One thing to note is that you cannot jump and move at the same time on resistive touch screens. If you are the one developing this, you have more than enough room to create a faux mutli-touch interface by creating invisible buttons halfway between the two buttons you want them to reference. This will allow you to press down on two spots and get the desired effect. This is especially easy for your interface seeing as all the buttons are the same size and shape. Though you might have to make them just slightly smaller to avoid an overlap between the right arrow and the "left+jump" buttons.
Other than that, it's coming along quite nice. Obviously the death thing needs to be fixed... all that happened when I hit a goomba was I disappeared and still could hear myself jumping. But other than that, very cool.
creation
Yes I know that touchscreens on TouchPro2 and like phones dont support multi-touch well. I hope that future phones and ROMs support it better. Yes it took me a couple of weeks to make all the levels and the final boss fight with bowser. After all the hard work the game came off just the way I wanted it.
Too Tough
Ok so you played the game and at some points its pretty tough. Here some tips and tricks to help you out.
1) When you jump but just miss but hit the side of a plateform press forward button and mario can climb up the side of the plateform.
2)Some coins in the game are unreachable, its a trap so dont try to collect every coin in every stage.
3) When you fight final boss bowser stay on left side of screen. You see a platform in the middle of screen moving up and down. You faintly see a turtle in the background and when the moving platform hits the turtle a shell appears. Hit the turtle shell and it hit boswer. Boswer has about 20 hit points so it will be a long fight.
4)When you die its better to use stylus to press start to restart level.
Enjoy the game and have fun if you need any help tell me here or PM me.

He's just agreeing with me that this game should implement a false multi-touch for single contact resistive touchscreens.
The way non-multitouch resistive touch screens work, like you would find on most HTC phones, is that when the screen is contacted at multiple points, the true contact point is read at the center of the two points. That is to say if I were to contact the screen at pixel (4,60) and then contact it at the same time at (210,180)... the contact point would be registered at (103, 120). With that in mind, it is possible to implement an interface such that the intermediate contact points represent the combination of two buttons pressed on either side of it.

Ok Whats the screensize of wqvga?
Half of wvga (400x240). A few devices like the Samsung Omnia and some of the new Acer have this res.
Play as Tim in his quest to defeat the evil ice king. Some levels require tim to collect the key, then a magic portal will appear . When Tim goes through portals he is transfered to another level.Other levels are standard levels where Tim has to avoid enemies and jump from platform to platform. Then there are the boss levels, where you have to figure out how to beat the bosses.
Onscreen controls are easy to use plus to solve the problem of multi-touch , you have a jump left and jump right button.Enjoy!!!!
If you want the full version its only .99 cents, plus has user reviews and 5 star rating

Just tried the game, quite interesting. Maybe a little music might make it a little more heart pumping.
Easy to use and fun.
Well done.
feedback
Thanks for the response !!
Just tried the game, great if you have a couple of mins to kill.
I second the music during game play.
1. The sfx doesn't always work. (first stage)
2. I can't minimize the game. (rhodium)
3. You may need an indicator for where to press when you die. Or an auto-restart after 5 seconds. I waited a couple of seconds thinking it'll restart by itself.
4. Jumping and moving causes the screen to stop moving. (ie. upright then right right after causes the screen to stop moving if you pass the middle.)
5. The buttons cover the moving objects in the second stage.
6. Maybe an option for landscape, or reverse landscape.
Also, a crack for a $1 game? I'm sure we can all afford that.
feedback
Thanks for the feedback!! I tried as best I could to make sure the buttons dont hinder the gameplay. I set the buttons jump left and jump rigth so you dont have to press the direction after jumping. Iam glad that you liked it.
99 cents
Tims key quest is 99 cents!!
Ok I recieved feedback in the 1st version and made the improvements here. If you like the game please share it whereever you go. This version is more fun and a little tougher. Enjoy!!!! Feedback is always welcome !!!
suggestions
If anyone has suggestions for the next version just let me now.
Nice gameplay.
Suggestions:
Have like 3 lives or something. When you die you should be able to continue at the same place unless you're out of lives.
When you die, it should auto-reset in 2 seconds or something... or at least allow one of the buttons to reset it so you don't have to tap all the way at the top of the screen.

Ok the auto-restart will be in effect for next game.
1)Should the next game be tough or was the difficulty high enough?
2) Should I keep Mario or do another famous charactor?
Thanks for feeback!!
Definetly keep mario. The game is awesome. The controls are difficult if you could add accelerometer or gsensor control would nice. I tried gpad no luck good graphics and sound. And a mario like background should be even better. Like in the koopa castle or normal mario land. Next caracter can be kirby or dk. Love the game, myself.
I agree. Keep it as Mario.
Gameplay is difficult enough. It's not easy enough to just breeze through it and just hard enough to keep it fun. The only thing I'd like is to have multiple lives. If that means extending the level, then I think that'd be great... I'd just like to be able to get further haha.
How about an Abduction(android) remake, but with mario? Uses an accelerometer to move.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7180dtrcyQY - link to a video of abduction gameplay
Also, I just installed this version of SMB, it didn't install into the game directory unlike SMB1 and Timmy key.
answers
Ok when you install it doesnt go into game directory but it does have a shortcut on the start menu.
Ok because of the tool Iam using I cant add accelometer support. The onscreen buttons shouldnt be hard to use, maybe I make them larger.
I will make the game 3 or 4 shorter levels instead of one long level you have here now. The auto-restart when you die still stands. I will add background to the game and maybe music . Thanks for the feedback I go ahead and work on this now.
Great idea for the levels. I dont know if its too mutch but one level can be the koopas like in this one and the other culd be original DK trowing barels. Just a thought.
it's really a nice game.
your next game must be more excellent.
first of all a very good game. i play it alot when in office. Some improvement i can suggest are : -
1. Buttons are not hard to use and i don't think you even need to make them large. Just move the right button to the right side.
2. Ability to remember the high scores. Its always nice to see you top scores
3. Background (I guess you are already working on it)
I guess this is it for now but i have got tons of idea (only if i know how to program ).
If you keep on developing this game. i will keep on giving the ideas.
Keep up the good work.
...looks really like the old game... it's alot of fun - thx.

I would give constructive criticism, if any at all, when talking to the developer, but while among peers I'm more apt to be just out for the laughs.
As far as the game is concerned, I downloaded the free version from the market and I don't have any constructive criticism to give. I figure I am not in the games intended market, I prefer tower defense games, RPGs and puzzles, but to each their own...
I wanted to show this game to my wife because she paints. I downloaded the free version through the Android Market, but it did not work on CM7 with LCD density of 180 or 160. The assets seemed to be misaligned, and it was hard to drag things.
I'm on MIUI now witch is at 240, i'll give it another go.

Yup get cards build a good attack abd defense deck , get into guild
and battle oppnents/other guild.
They oragnize regular events with rewards which make the game more challenging.
I was a clubie to this type of game but i worked out what the hell i had to do!
The basic rules are this.
go to quest and just battle people by repeatedly tapping the screen, keep collecting cards.
when you have 2 of the same type of card go to evolve and merge the two cards together, this will increase the "learning" ability of the card.
You can only merge a lower level card into a higher one. you cannot merge a higher level into a lower level (so a fighter + does not go into a fighter, but a fighter can merge into a fighter +)
When you card has been merged 4 times it is MAXED out, from here start enhancing the card with every single card you can lay your hands on. Dont merge cards that are better than the one you are using now otherwise it is a waste.
Keep enhancing your card until it hits level 30.
While questing you will level up. Your stamina dictates how many attacks you can do in quests, it refills 1 stamina every minute. I got mine to 100 and this seems to be enough for me, over time you will get to increase this massively so dont worry about it at first if you are happy to log in very often.
The ATTACK skill you have is used when you do a PvP or a BOSS battle and it dictates how powerful your allies can be when you attack.
The DEFENCE skill is used when you are attacked and again, the higher this is the higher quality allies you can have when defending.
Beyond this i have no idea what i am doing, but that has taken me 3 days to work out. Their help file isn't that great!
The recommended attack and defense decks are usually good but don't take into account special skills, so sometimes it's a good idea to edit the deck.
One good tip I've learned is that when attacking another player you should always go for someone whose defense power is equal to or lower than your attack power.
