Titanium backup problem. Not starting. - Vibrant Themes and Apps

Hi guys, love the vibrant and just rooted today. God if only the g1 was that easy
any way I have installed titanium backup twice now, and each time I try to run it,i only get a black screen, that's it, then have to fc. Any one having the same issue or know of a fix, thanks.

Check for an update in the market. The last version released caused this problem for a lot of people, but it was fixed this morning.

Well the version I got from the market today is 3.3.5.2 so I do believe it is the updated version. If not, Im not getting prompted for an update for it.

Well it seems if I let it sit for 30 seconds it eventually will start, will be trying a back up tonight to verify it works though, thanks.

No more Wifi

Hi there. I hope that some dev will see this and probably got an idea of what is going wrong with my Sensation. At one day, some weeks ago, I went to work in the morning and switched off my wifi for this time. As I got back home I tried to switch it back on, but it only says activating for something around 20 secs and then says fault. I tried nearly everything like restoring a backup, cleaning everything but nothing helped. For the possibility of an exchange trough my carrier I unrooted, switched to s-on + original ruu. It didnt helped. As they said that it would take time over the weekend, I thought that I wont get out without "my" phone.. So I rerouted, switched s-off and restored my backup. And TADA, my wifi was working again.. But after Updating the Rom, HyperSansation, to the last release v0,8 it broke down the wifi again. :`( Hmmm... I have repeated the whole process again and it worked again. Even with trying a new Rom. But as I came home from work today, the fault was back...
Can anybody help me out of this case?

Let me get this straight... Are you saying that everytime you use a rom (other than your backup), then your wifi stops working?
No. Yesterday I had problems with random reeboots and switched to Slick2x Rom and it went on working.. But since I´m at home today its over..

[Q] Guys, Please Help! Must cancel firmware update!

So I just got my champagne 32gb from tigerdirect (came next day surprisingly) and it has 3.2 HC. As soon as I connected it to my wifi, it started downloading ICS, and I didnt know how to stop it (aside from turning off wi-fi). I tried shutting down DMClient, that didnt work. Now it's downloaded and my battery is below 15% so it wont install it.
How do I cancel this whole process or delete the new firmware? I want to keep HC as long as possible to see if my Prime has a hardware issue. Can I disable this auto-update firmware or is it just going to keep downloading it over and over? Help would be appreciated, and welcome back to everyone after the blackout.

If you want to find out if you have a Prime that should be returned you should upgrade to ICS anyway if it borks it return it thats what I did and now I have one thats flawless with ICS.
It will keep downloading over and over.. you can do 3 delays of it.
However, there is a way, pretty positive you must be rooted, where you can use TiTanium Backup and "freeze" the updater file before it runs & updates.

I thought you had to load ICS to be sure you had a bum unit or not?

Rejecting OTA

Hello all. I've been reading with much dread on the changes to my phone with the Verizon forced OTA update. I really don't care about the extra battery bar, and didn't want to have my battery life wasted by the Verizon Location bloatware. I caught my phone twice trying to install the OTA, and I defered it until tomorrow.
That's when I notice you can "reject" the update. Currently if you go into settings, status, you can then click on reject. It appears the OTA will not install.
Hope this helps,
BOBBY
PS- I have a screen shot but can't post a Photobucket link as a new member yet.
I read on here that it will be forced upon you on Feb. 5.
Don't be afraid...
Nope
I rejected the OTA a couple of times; didn't stop it from installing when I wasn't looking a few days ago.
It really sucks that you can't permanently reject an update if you don't want it.
My son has a DroidX that is bone stock. He doesn't care about mods whatever, his phone is all beat up and he could care less what the wallpaper/icons etc are. He just wants it to work.
When the GB update came out for it, he absolutely DID NOT want it but eventually it installed anyway and his phone has been really messed up ever since (it worked fine before the update)
He has so many apps installed that he really doesn't want to factory reset it ( he doesn't even know where he got half of them) but it is going to have to be reset soon.

You can always save it for later.
The file is called OTAPkg.zip and should be in /cache/fumo. You can just download it and postpone the install then move it out to somewhere where you can always use it at a later date.

issue witht the phone

about two weeks ago I rooted my friends moto razr. I wasnt able to freeze/delete any apps as it said to get the donate version, and all I had was the free version, so I told her to just use it and see if she seen any differences in it then we would go from there.
she just let me know today that she was having problems with it. her internet was failing, and she was having problems last night with texting, her buttons wouldn't work so she had to go back to the main screen then back into it.
she said she had issues with the internet before the root but the texting issues didnt start till after.
what could be the cause of this? is there still some bugs being worked out in ICS? I told her first to check for updates for anything on the phone. any other ideas on what could be causing this?

[q] urgent need of help

Hey guys Im new to the forum, and new to android and I really need help. I bought an HTC one m7 today, used off kijiji, and it came with cynogenmod. While unrooting my phone and installing the stock firmware everything went smoothly until the end, I followed the guide, locked the oem, and installed from the rue file. I have a rogers htc one btw. After everything finished I went through the activation and to my disbelief my touch screen was barely working. It kept randomly clicking things in the middle, and I thought maybe after I restarted my phone it would be fixed. I restarted it, hard reset it, and even reinstalled from the ruu and it still isn't working. I figured if I was to reinstall cynogenmod than it would start working again, because before I uninstalled cynogenmod it worked perfectly. Can someone please help me because right now I want to cry like my phone is so hard to use right now, I can't even swipe down the notification bar. I've tried googling everywhere and I've found nothing. I've been trying to fix this for the last 4 hours
and guys it was perfect before I tried to unroot it, it was after that that all this started. Its a rogers HTC one, and the screens just going crazy like random apps keep opening and when i press back they open again. Does anyone know what I should do, I literally just bought this phone
