Hello , i've an Orange SPV M3100 HTC and when i've tried to upload the ITA rom near the 81% of uploading the upload have a self crash !!! now i can'nt do nothing.... no hardreset or something !!! When i try to start i can see on display only The red-green-blu-white colours with derscribe : HERM100 IPL-1.01 !!! Please , help me for a new life for my Baby !!!
first on pc go to activesync settings and untick "allow usb connection". Connect to pc and run the install for the original rom (reboot into bootloader BEFORE connecting by holding power,ok button above the flywheel and reset with stylus, hold all buttons in to go to the tricolour screen. I know you're there already but this is now officially bootloader not a f***ed up boot). Theres a chance you will be able to fix it this way. No guarantees.....
Afterwards install Hard SPL on your "baby" so you increase your chance of recovery.
Hi, Thanks for your help ! I've tried but activesync do'nt show nothing . HardSPL cannot see nothing... the only thing i can read in the white stream of "baby" is the scribe change from serial to usb when i connect it to the pc .... Any idea ???
Install the Shipped Stock rom... It WON'T be picked up by activesync but that doesn't matter. Its registering that there is a usb connection so install the shipped stock rom.
DO NOT INSTALL ANOTHER ROM AS THIS MAY PERMANENTLY BRICK YOUR PHONE....
Thanks Mentore , i've a little problem more because i have'nt the original rom....Do you know where i can download it ? Migthy TTTT
hi, i've find it! ( I suppose...) >>>> Official Orange SPV M3100 AKU 3.3 update . It's a full rom official by Orange. I try now and i'll tell you if i kill me...
nothing............the program can't find via usb the baby......arghh
did you go to bootloader before trying - hold power, OK button above flywheel and reset with stylus, hpld all buttons in until it ets to bootloader ?
yes, before when i put the battery it's off, when you put in the battery is off , when you make a hard reset it's start in bootloader red-blu-green ecc. no usb connection display say " serial " , when in usb connection display say "USB" but nothing can find the "baby" in the pc-usb.....
one of probably solution i think is :WM5torage for find in usb , windows mobile 5-6 for read WM5torage and try to load original Orange rom . But i have'nt any 5 or 6...
Hold down the buttons I said on my last 2 posts to go to bootloader. Just resetting means you have a screwed up reset not bootloader reset...
Yhaooooooooooo!!! i've connect to a vista notebook and all black but with right red led on. After i've connected it to my xp desk and autoreboot the old rom.... mistery .....ghost..... bah, now is ok. Thanks overall , see next one. Ciao from Italy.
Cool, Glad you fixed it.

STOP BLAMING MAGLDR
Firstly your phone has not BRICKED..
Pres VOL down + reset
You will get the boot loader..
Flash a official Rom..
Good,

I get the blue, red, green screen.
but i don't (think i get/see) the MAGLDR bootloader ( i don't see any option 4 ... as said on the tutorial).
should i reflash MAGLDR111 or just run DAF application via windows ?
Sorry about the name of the post : (. Didn't want to blame developpers, sry guys.

ok you have the tri colour screen,,, now first flash an official ROM ,
If the BOOTLOADER SAYS Cotulla HSPL, then u can install a CUSTOM rom too...
Then
Start the process all over again,
I just ran DAF application from DFT_Android folder, after wainting for USB i got an error message :
Error happen
Read below for more information
Error Description: USB init failed
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (723)
Error Description: wait marker fails
Info: .\RSPL\BootLoader.cpp (225)
I'm downloading an official windows mobile ROM to install it now, i hope to have no trouble.
Thanks a lot for your help !
Official windows mobile ROM install succeeded.
I'm gonna try to start the process all over again ...
no no no dont flash official rom!
when powering up your device press end key, and magldr will appear.
Just keep pressing end key!
And if that doesn't work:
it means your hspl is outdated, so flash a new hspl.
This issue has already been reported on the MAGLDR thread, and those were the solutions, i think you needed hspl 2.08 if i'm not mistaken
I have the same problem, only I can't start the bootloader! What should I do?
Thanks Derek0228, my HSPL was outdated as you said.
I did Update it, then install MAGLDR111 and than flash the DFT android NAND build.
It's working very well !
(Thanks DFT !!)
problem solve : )

SD flash your WinMo O/S (except 3.14 ROM). Run HSPL2 to 2.08HSPL and make sure the RADIO is 2.08.50 or above. Then go through the Android flashing again - I would re-download the files, incase one is corrupt.
Flash a stock rom...

Try doing a hard reset - it should clear everything and then run HSPL to 2.08hspl and flash whatever you want MAgldr or WinRom ...
Hello everyone, I just join here tonight after finding this site through google. I have been reading hours through the threads. Very interesting reading however I still could not find a solution for my problem.
I did a factory reset on my HD2 and now all that happens when I start the phone is a red, green, blue and white screen. It does not load to the windows mobile screen anymore.
On the red part of the screen it says:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-1.42.0000 XE
MicroP (LED) 0X05
MicroP (TOUCH) 0X40
The green and blue stripes have no text on them but the white stripe has "serial" on it.
I am confused why this had happened, any help to fix this problem will be much appreciated. Thank you.
Hello sir, and welcome on XDA.
- Try this take out your battery
- revert beck your battery without restarting your device
- hold volume down and volume UP press in follow by a short press on the power button.
- you will see your 4color screen shortly and then a grey screen with blue text.
- Press volume up to restore your device.
Try this and let us know.
Hi Kurt Willems, thanks for the reply however this method did not resolve the problem. Still the red, green, blue and white screen appears.

Do you recall what your original rom was? If you plug your device into usb port on pc, does serial change to usb? If so, I suggest reinstalling your original rom.
Yes I followed your instruction exactly, still the same striped screen.

Well like ClydeB1 mentioned, get YOUR stock ROM, connect your device to your pc and reinstall the stock ROM (At least if your device will connect)

Hi ClydeB1, I cannot remember exactly what the rom name was, I think it started 4... I read some threads and tried some methods such as downloading the HD2 rom from the hTc website via entering my S/N number. Then I put that on the SD card and updated it using 7-zip.. changing the file name to "leoimg...." after a minute of updating the phone reboot and said it had an error, it reboot again and completed the update. But still i am faced with the striped screens.

Hi, how do I get my stock rom? When I connect the usb cable to the phone it automatically shows this striped screen on the phone. The phone does not sync with the computer. I believe the phone was set to storage card when connected to the pc. But i cannot access the storage card via the phone. I access the storage card using a multi card reader.

When you download from the HTC site, you'll get an exe file. You can try to run it from your pc, connect device to pc (still in bootloader screen ie striped screen) when serial changes to usb then run the exe file.
If that doesn't work then Right click and extract the exe file to your pc. Then take the RUU_signed.nbh file, rename that to LEOIMG.nbh and copy to root of sd card (formatted to FAT32). Then flash as you described.

I tried to connect using usb cable, when I connect it on the bootloader screen the white stripe goes from "serial" to no text just white stripe. I ran the ROM downloaded from hTc site, but when it comes up with an connectioin error.
I am running Windows 7, I could not find a Windows Mobile Sync that's compatible with Windows 7. I tried the RUU_signed.nbh file, renamed to LEOIMG.nbh and copied to root of sd card - formatted to FAT32 but at first it updates then restarts after a minute. It says there's an error, it restarts again and continues with the update and everything says "ok" but when I restart it when the update is finished, still I have the bootload screen?

Try moving your usb cable to a new port, preferably one at the rear of your pc ie with direct link rather than one at the front or a hub.
The sync software for Windows 7 is Windows Mobile Device Centre, but you won't be able to make a connection if you're in bootloader mode.

I did what you said by inserting usb cable into a different usb port. It started installing the driver "QUALCOMM CDMA TECHNOLOGIES MSM" Now on the white stripe it says "USB".
So I ran both "RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_1.48.405.2_Radio_Signed_15.28.50.07U_2.05.51.05_2_Ship"
AND
"RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship"
But after about 8% it turns red and says error. On the phone it says "Upgrade ROM code error Please try again" on the green stripe.

I appreciate the help everyone has given me so far, thanks. Still I am having no luck getting it to load up to the windows mobile screen.
I bought this phone used, It came unlocked. When It was loading properly it appeared unbraded as there were no network carrier logos on start up screen. I am not sure if this phone is factory unlocked or was locked to a carrier.
Should I try the T-mobile ROM on it? Also I have been reading the treads trying to find a solution for the past 7 hours now LOL. I had read that this phone can run WP7 and Android.
Will i be able to get the phone working on any of those OS without having to put the WM6.5 stock ROM on it? Or do I need the stock rom for this phone to work to make the other OS to work?

- No sir, don't install a T-Mous stock ROM, it aren't the same.

- but first of all we need to set it working again.
Ow, I just think about one thing. When you flashed over your SD-card witch SD-card dit you used? (size)
Most recommendation are the 2GB.
8GB and bigger gives some trouble.

is the phone bricked?
No its not bricked.
Download a stock ROM from the HTC support site for your country with your S/N,connect your HD2 while on the bootloader (colored screen) and start flashing the ROM.
I think you can also get the spesific ROM for your device from here at the ROM Development section.
Hi, htc site downloads only the latest rom, i can't find the section where to put a serial number... anyway, i've downloaded the latest one for my country and from the SD it stucks on grey screen "Loading..." from USB it stucks on 0% (black screen with loading bar and no HTC logo)
Do someone knows where the htc site accepts s/n for downloading?

3-Run the Active Sync.
4-Run the Downloaded ROM,I think its RUU,5- read and follow the on screen instructions.

As for the point 2: how can i connect it to active sync if it does not boot?
i've tried all options of HSPL and it won't flash anything, any version 1.66, 2.08 or 3.03.
If you are on tri color screen the pc and Active Sync must be able to recognize it.
however if you cannot Flash the HSPL your only hope is that you Flash a stock official ROM of your Devices original country and to do that you must know the exact region for your FW.
Same also happened to me once,I discovered that my HD2 FW country was South East Asia !! so after downloading and flashin it evrything started working once again.
Anyway if it didnk work, just go to the below link and ask help there from a guy called Anthony, register or use you facebook account for faster reply,he ussualy hangs around there and is always willing to help.

Can't flash radio
Hi there,
After some different succesfull android installations I decided to do a task29. After that I couldn't flash the radio. Even with SD-method (renaming nbh-file on SD-card) I kept a white screen with HTC-logo, no RDG info on the buttom of my screen.
Then I flashed a stock winmo rom, succesfully. However, I want to go back to android. First think of checking some roms on SD. They all seem to get stuck on booting (or what ever). No progress, even after maybe 30 / 40 minutes. This is not normal, right?
I am reluctant to flashing any other stuff, scared of bricking my phone.
Can any one give me good advise? Like how I can get SD-roms to work for starters.
Thanks,
Mike

can u tell me what mentioning in three color screen?if it is mention "software upgrade fail" just connect to usb, grab HSPL 4,and just pick HSPL 2.08 or any which u liked, than reflashed ur Stock ROM via USB,or any compatible MMC.
I've experience the same thing sometimes ago while trying to return to stock ROM,i was trying to do it via MMC but i was grabbing the wrong ROM series and it is stuck at 9%,but i can recover with that method.Hpe it works for you.And try other USB and make sure u've installed active sync on your PC.
