Hi there!
I was wondering if there is an app that let's you unlock the HD2 after stand-by with drawing a pattern on screen. Like a password, but faster and very personal. Not like a vingerprint or so, but a stroke with the finger in a pre-defined way. For instance you have to draw a triangle (or something like that) on the left side to unlock the device.
Are there apps/updates like that?
Thanks!

whats the best way to secure an eris? its normally in my pocket but there are times when i have left it on my desk at work and in my position i get emails and messages that i would not want other co-workers to "accidentally" see.
There is a screen lock option... on non Rooted, you enter a pattern.. I'm not sure about all rooted, but mine gives me a choice of pattern, pin or password.
It's under the main settings menu ... i believe the option is security.

In case anyone wants a honeycomb lock screen appearance:

works well on the atrix (i suggest resizing the text in the app's settings)
I've been waiting for this! Thanks

Works OK, but no fingerprint scanner support, and it actually bypassed my having to input an unlock code also. In other words, using this lock screen means no security.
I tried it a little while back, it unlocks very slowly. Looks kinda cool, but takes a few seconds usually to actually complete the unlock for some reason.
One thing that really annoys me about my X2 is the fact that when it's idle and I want to use it, I have to first slide my finger left to right to unlock the screen, and then put in my security pattern to use the phone. It's a little redundant and stupid to have to do both. Now that I"m rooted, is there a way I can remove the initial left to right swipe screen unlock?

There's a free app in the Market called No Lock. I have it, and it works great!

Ah that's right, someone mentioned that before but I wasn't rooted at the time. Thanks.
EDIT: Actually that takes both things off, I only want the initial sliding unlock removed, I still want to enter my pattern...
I found AntiLock which does what I want but is kind of shoddy... it shows the home screen for a split second before making you enter the pattern, and there's no emergency contact button down below. There has to be something else out there.

I use No Lock; put MIUI on my wife's nook color and No Lock was bundled with it. Seems to work well.
No Lock doesn't do what I want though, I still want some security in the form of the pattern lock. I just don't want the stupid left to right swipe screen, it's pointless.
On my mobile with A2.1 anyone can unlock the screen simply by swiping from left to right.
Is there an app to lock the screen by some password or whatever, to prevent thiefs and alike to easily access the phone?.
TIA

I have a jailbroken iPod touch and I installed a tweak from Cydia that allows me to swipe the lock screen to unlock (similar to Samsung "swipe glass to unlock" feature). I was wondering if anyone made a mod or tweak for the Evo 3D.
Have you tried GoLocker? They have to have something like that, I would imagine.

I would like to have something that doesn't require a program, especially if you have to have GoLauncher installed to use GoLocker. I just want a simple mod or tweak.
Also, I've been trying to get my hands on the red Droid DNA's wallpaper that comes with it. Anyone let me know if they come across it?
