sorry for the noob question but i cant find for the life of me how to make a three way call on the x10 2.1 can anyone please fill me in?
Good question.. I actually haven't used this on 2.1 yet and I just went to try it out and there was no option! I remember 1.6 it was easy to do with the menu button but when in call, menu button does nothing.
Anyone have other ideas?
When you're on a call just open the contacts list and select the number you want to call.

for me this option and function isnt so important, but i tried to use it. when i have a sms open from one contact and i put the galaxy to mz ear, the galaxy begins to dial, but not the contact from the sms, it dials an other contact.
anybody the same problem?
Not that I've used thus much, just a few times. But the first time I tried it it did ring the wing person. But the few times since it has worked.

Unfortunately the new motion options are still immature! Direct call, double tap and the smart stay don't work most of the time, i hope they get it fixed in their next update!

Hi,
Is there an option to cancel the keys sound (while pressing) during calls?
For example when i put the phone on speaker or even in normal use, when i press the keys in order to write a number or send text, the other side in my conversation hears the sound too. Therefore can barely hear me.
They still get sound even on vibrate/silent mode.
Anyone have this problem too?
please help!

You can disable 'keytones' in settings> sound.

I only want it disabled during call, not on normal use...
will it work?

BUMP...
hello does anybody know how to add contacts to the emergecy call list on the evo 3d?
i have alrady upgraded to ICS however when i have the phone locked with a pater or with a password it shows a emergency call at the botton of the screen if you click on it will bring up the dialer with you are supposed to be able to add emergency numbers there so in case of emergency that something happen to you in my case i ride a motorcycle a lot, the person that picks you up or the ambulance can use to call your emergecny contacts, if you click on it it will say you don't have any emergency contacts on the phone i don't know how to add it.
thanks.
come on guys any help?????

Hi All
From what I understand, the Xperia Tablet Z 4G isn't meant to be able to make and/or receive GSM calls. I came from a Samsung P6800 that was able to make and receive GSM calls so I have a SIM that is attached to a voice and data plan. I'm now using that same SIM in the XZT.
Earlier this afternoon, I turned on my tablet and saw what looked like a missed call screen that flashed by and disappeared. There was no notification of a missed call. I remember the screen had light colours - like light green and blue and yellow (if my memory serves me right).
Tonight I actually received a GSM call. I didnt get to answer it in time (well, let's say that when I got to the tablet, I stood there looking at it and wondering what was going on and the call stopped!).The screen that came up is what I described above. It had an icon of a phone with a circle around it in the middle of the screen. I'm guessing that to answer the call, I would've had to have put my finger on the icon and drag it out to a side.
I tried calling my tablet again with my normal phone to replicate it and maybe try get a screenshot, but I can't seem to get through on the number.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there software on the phone that can make and receive phone calls?
Edit: I should add that I'm on 4.2.2... and Build number is 10.3.1.A.0.244.
I had hoped I could use it as a huge phone, but nope.
I was told the hardware wasn't there.
But if you truly have had an incoming call, then there might be hope.
Right now I'm using Skype and the tablet redirect calls to my Skype-number.
There is..
I use viber a lot and everytime i recieve a call there is a phone with a circle and a wave on it and i just drag the phone to the right to answer it.

Yeh, I thought that it could be Skype or Viber or one of them chat apps, but I wasn't signed into any of those at the time. I'd only had the tab for a couple of days and was still in the process of installing apps.
It hasn't happened since then.. but i'll keep a lookout for it and see if it happens again.
How about Google Voice? If you have it set up on your account you might be getting a call to that number. Try calling it.
