Hi. I have read a few post's about this but nothing have helped me.
I got it from a friend last night because when u turn it on, it vibrates, and then te screen turns white. The phone has not been upgraded with rom, radio etc.
A so called "original" phone.
I have tryed to flash it with hspl, hspl 2 and so on, but nothing works. I can push the volume buttons and the power button and get to the three color menu, and when i put it in the usb it shows on the screen also, but i cant get anything from it.
Anyone having this problem?! On a "original" phone?!

you cant even flash hspl when you're in bootloader? (tricolorscreen)
if so, i would bring it back to the store where you bought it.
they'll see, that everythings untouched on it.

So, I have to send my HD2 back to t-mobile in seven days so I was removing HSPL. I used the instructions from this thread:

So I took the stock 2.10 ROM I had and renamed it LEOIMG.nbh and put it on a 2gb SD card. So I did that and proceded to turn the phone off holding down the volume down button. It asked if I wanted to do this. I said yes.
Then I got "Software Update Failed". Nothing is happening now. I can't get it to do anything.
I don't understand what I did wrong.
When I bring up the tri-color screen it says that the spl is 2.08.000 and on the bottom says "Update ROM Code Error Pleas Try Again". In the top right corner it says "RUUNBH".
Now no matter what it goes to a gray "Loading..." screen.
I'm freaking the hell out. What do I do?
use a different rom, get one from the t mo website.

And put it back on the stick and try it again?
I can't get it to hook up to the computer for active sync or anything if that's what I'm supposed to do.

Is what it says on the tri-color screen. I'm curious though. Would they know that it had HSPL on it from this information?
flash from the tri coloured screen, you dont need the phone to be booted.

Last week I received one hd2 tmobile-us from my friend. He got stuck when he was trying to install android.
Currently he's stuck at the t-mobile screen, so I tried to do the power+volume down key and here's the result:

I'm aware that this is the new fone with spl3.03 on it. So here what I tried:
I tried to use hspl4 and install spl2.08 instead of 3.03 on it, and hspl gives me a error (code 0000000D)
I tried to download a old stock rom (LEO_RUU_1_5_TMOUS_2.10.531.0_Radio_2.08.50) and copy to the SD-CARd (8g), but it stuck at the white screen with the "loading...." text
I tried to install the rom by the bootscreen, does not work.
I tried to install MAGLD on spl3.03 anyway, and as expected, it did not work.
I myself do have another hd2 that's running android NAND on it, and I already spent 3 days searching the forum but I can find any answer on my problem. I'm running out of option and dont know what to do next.

I was trying to flash my HD2 with the latest ROM for my region using the SD card method as the USB port is not working, it will charge the phone but does not sync with the pc.
All was going well with the flash when all of a sudden the screen went black and since then I've had the following..
When I turn it on I get the triangle with the exclamation mark.
If I try to go into the bootloader I get the RGBW screen with
RUUNBH

MicroP(TOUCH) 0x50
Upgrade ROM code error
Please try again
then I get the white screen with
loading......
almost immediately I then get
00028002
Not allow

wrong rom for that phone. Needs to match operator too,(assuming its from an operator) and just cos the sim may be unlocked the rom is always locked. Flashing from SD removed hspl so now the rom checks fail.

Goes to loading cos leoimg is still on SD card. Since you don't have USB, you can now no longer flash hspl, so only sspl, so only winmo cooked roms, and no radio changes. Unlucky.
Is it bricked or is there a way of getting it to work again?
If I can get it back to some form of a functional phone 'er indoors will gladly use it.
Sure, find the right rom, example a German phone from o2 requires the 'o2 de' rom,, an unbranded one (from carphone warehouse for instance) would use the 'HTC wwe" rom.. etc etc.
Once you figure out which rom you need look for a 3.14 version and flash it.
Don't panic if you get what you got this time, that exclamation,just means you got the wrong rom. Try another one
(Edit - I was gonna mention SSPL but just remembered that it needs USB so your option is as above.... correct stock rom)

This solution doesn't appear to work, I've tried every UK version of 3.14 from the HTC website and I've even tried the original 1.66.405.2 (all versions, obviously trying the WWE one first) all to no avail.

ALL 1.66 roms are unbranded, the branded 1.66 roms are version 1.72, so you haven't tried any operator branded 1.66 roms.
Hey everyone.
Listen here is my problem. i installed android on my hd2 and after a day it gave me quite alot of issues like apps crashing . phone applications not working.
So i decided to take it back to windows 6.5.
I used the method of putting a nbh file in the SD card. of spl version 3.03.000. if was updating and then at once it stopped and said update failed. And since then its not starting its on the RED GREEN BLUE AND WHITE screen :/

do you have a tmous or a regular hd2? (what colour are the send and end keys)

Thanks for the reply.. but i found the problem i was using an unbranded Rom .. but mine was a tmobile. since there was no logo on it i got a bit confused.

Hi, I found no one case like the mine on internet, so I hope you can help me!
I've a HTC HD2 T8585. I don't know anything about his previous life, so I don't know why now is on that conditions.
When I power on the phone, a grey screen with this written on appears:

power reason 1
BOOTUP_W_PWR_KEY_PRESSED
Nothing else happen.
I've try to flash via sd-card a original rom, downloaded directly from htc. The update success, but still same situation.
If I go in download mode, I see:

Sometimes, apparently casually, the phone vibrate 6 times.
Just 2 times the phone has started, but when all is loaded, I see that touch screen doesn't work. If I restart the phone, the same problem (flash type ecc) happen.
So I don't know.. probably a wrong rom has been installed? what can I do?
I'm from Italy, and I would to revive this phone, indifferently with wf or with android!
**UPDATE*
I've try to install the hspl 2.08. I've followed the procedure for installing the andoid OS, but while flashing magldr, I can't view its menu in the phone, so I can't continue the flashing procedure. What do you think? will be possible revive the phone without a box? (i've octopus samsung-lg and atf, but nothing for htc)

To ask this questions you have to do it in Android section, BTW, to boot into MAGLRD you have to reboot your phone and keep pushing power button.
