Okay so I bought my vibrant a couple weeks ago from a friend. About a week after that avatar stops working so I call t mobile see if they can help but they couldn't *bummer* .. So today I go onto my account on t-mobile.com and see that somehow my handset has been changed to the vibrant. I'm so confused on this because the PHP bundle is still there so do I have insurance on my vibrant that I didn't buy from t mobile?

I doubt it, but you may want to check. It would be typical of them to keep charging you insurance on a phone you weren't using. They get the info automatically as to what phone you are using. I would check just to be safe.
So I would be paying insurance for my old G1 while I'm using the galaxy s even if they have the galaxy s on my account?

So my atrix I have now won't read a memory card, it just stopped?!?! But anyway att is covering it threw warranty and when the new phone gets here in a couple of days can I or will I be able to keep my widgets/apps that I have already bought? I'f I can how do I transfer them over to the new one I get in the mail?

So my girl just got the new gsII for at&t, should I dig in and get to the hacking or is it even worth it yet... I've worked alot on the vibrant and the captivate so I know the difference it makes but since there so new is it really worth it yet?

I took my phone back to complete stock last night using odin, this morning I wanted to update the phone so my kiddo could get the new market, after downloading kies and running the update the phone will not turn on at all. it does not show when I connect a charger and I cant get it to go into download mode. Any suggestions or is this phone now done?

I Tried this and it didn't work. I really believe my phone is completely dead!
So there is no sign of life at all? No leds or any backlight behind the screen? If not, then you are hardbricked. Kies is notorious for hardbricking phones.
You can call your carrier or Samsung and tell them your phone was bricked using THEIR software and see where that goes.

I had the exact problem you did. Tmobile sent me a replacement, and now I have a phone with no scratches or dings! :victory:
Well I've had mine since the day it came out, it it's out of warranty so t-mobile won't cover it, Samsung was not going to cover it at first but after it was said and done they decided to cover it since it was there software that bricked my phone

This happened to me awhile back! I called T-Mobile, but as I was out of warranty, no phone could be sent! Wish I would've seen this thread before I tossed it...
okay so while i was at the fair tonight, i rode one too many rides and threw up on myself and had to go home (lame me) and in the process of getting in the car i stripped down to my boxers and shoes in order to not get vomit all in my car. well stupid me forgot to take my phone, which i had layed on top of the car, off of the top of the car before i left and didn't realize it until i got home... my question is does anyone know any apps that can decently ping the phone without the gps being on (or turn the gps on and do it) it has my google account on it so i can load apps but i can't set them up... please help i just got this phone last week and love it...
There are plenty of free apps in the play store under 'lost phone' - everyone I've ever tried you had to setup on your phone first. Do you have insurance? Either way brother, good luck finding it.

I unlocked my phone and then it went black and I could feel it pulse once a second. I took out the battery and put it back in and it still does the same thing.. I cant even boot it up...help plz

Power button issue, had something similar. I was able to work it out, but if you have warranty, get them to take care of it.
I had to call at&t and use my insurance. I complained so much that they only made me pay $100 and I get another 12 month warranty....so im good...Thx for the responses

Had that happen to my first note, it did it on and off for a few weeks, then one night it wouldn't turn on anymore, just vibrate. Took it to the local store and luckily had 4 days left in the year warranty, took it to the support center and they gave me a replacement.
Almost got a note 2, guy grabbed on instead of a note and only noticed when the back cover didn't fit. Would of been awesome but I wouldbt of been able to keep it without telling them. Haha
