So my atrix I have now won't read a memory card, it just stopped?!?! But anyway att is covering it threw warranty and when the new phone gets here in a couple of days can I or will I be able to keep my widgets/apps that I have already bought? I'f I can how do I transfer them over to the new one I get in the mail?

Okay so I bought my vibrant a couple weeks ago from a friend. About a week after that avatar stops working so I call t mobile see if they can help but they couldn't *bummer* .. So today I go onto my account on t-mobile.com and see that somehow my handset has been changed to the vibrant. I'm so confused on this because the PHP bundle is still there so do I have insurance on my vibrant that I didn't buy from t mobile?

I doubt it, but you may want to check. It would be typical of them to keep charging you insurance on a phone you weren't using. They get the info automatically as to what phone you are using. I would check just to be safe.
So I would be paying insurance for my old G1 while I'm using the galaxy s even if they have the galaxy s on my account?

I have a line going down the left side of my screen. I googled it and a motorola forum came up and a guy had to send it in to be replaced. My only concern is that I'm running kens gingerbread rom with an unlocked bootloader. So will att still replace it?
I would like to resolve this issue myself though. I've already tried two factory resets and wiping the data and it still didn't work. If I have to send it in should I fruitcake down to 1.83 or does it even matter. Please help,

Motorola does have downloadable links of firmware on their website in the support section with directions on how to install them. That way you could send the phone in for service.

Going straight down the left side of the screen. I think its a screen problem. Either way will att still send me another phone even with my bootloader unlocked? I already fruitcaked to 1.83 and its still there

So my line came back today on my screen and I already talked with ATT and they're going to send me another phone. But my question is are they going to send me mines back when they see the "unlocked" in the top left corner when they turn the phone on? Sorry for being a noob.

Happened to me too, but the people at Motorola/AT&T replacement/troubleshooting place told me that if the problem is not their fault or covered by warranty I had to pay full price to get it fixed, or if I voided the warranty I had to pay full price just to get my phone back.
The lady at ATT basically said if the phone hasn't been dropped or water damaged its still covered under the one year warranty so my fingers will be crossed

Did you tell Her/At&t that you had the phone unlocked? I am curious because 3 days after I unlocked my BL, my touch screen seems to be going bad on one section of the screen and I fear I am going to have to get a replacement/send it in.

No I didn't mention it, hopefully when they receive my phone it really won't matter. I googled this question and some folks with nexus ones and HTC phones were able to do a warranty exchange with unlocked bootloaders

Did you receive your new phone yet or get any confirmation that they shipped it?
I called in on Tuesday and still haven't got a confirmation/order number that they are shipping me my replacement.
I had problems with my data about a week ago and Big Red did all kinds of test on my phone with nothing resolved. 36 hrs. Without data and a new phone was sent to me. Now my old TB is working fine so it was Verizons service in the area that was down. My question is should I used Revolutionary root to restore my old phone and root the other or leave it as is? My phone isn't hurt always in a case and a screen protector.

I would always keep my first brand new phone. Anything sent to you as replacement is like-new. Service is up and down as they tweak their system. Keep old phone.

i agree. whenever you get a "like new/refurbished" product, you have no idea what happened to it originally(or how good the "fix" was) or more importantly, how much use it's been put through and how much life it has left.

Im not sure if anyone knows or even remembers hearing this, So I figured i'd let everyone know, Cause I myself had no clue. Doing some searching for 3.5 Skins I came across an article that states ALL Sense 3.5 Devices will be offered 5GB Free on Dropbox, Not sure about anyone else but I use DB all the time. All I did was downloaded the app from the market, Opened it up and signed in. About 3-4mins later I got the email confirm that i was given 3GB for free, which took me right up to 5GB. Not bad at all. This will be given to anyone, even if you dont have an account. So thats it, very simple. Just figured i'd share with anyone who wasnt aware....ENJOY!!!

I didn't get the e-mail with mine? I installed the app right when got the phone Monday morning.
I restored my DB via Ti, and when I just opened the app, I got the email saying I can get the free 3GB by going to some DB website. But it's not automatic and it looks like I need to complete some sort of BS "quest" to get the space. Whatever, I don't use it anyways, I just have it in case it ever becomes useful for me. I just use FTP for most transfer needs.
Still no luck... Signed in, or not.
Really? Man all I did was sign in. Actually I signed In thru the browser. Literally 5mins layer I got the email. Sign In thru yur browser and see if it give you any prompts to get the extra space. Worth a shot

Just signed in with the HTC Browser, so let's see.
I just go the email, it's their whole "getting started" thing where they pretty much want you to install drop box clients on every device you own.
I now have 5.5GB for free. Too bad I never really use dropbox because i have sftp/ssh setup on my linux box.
I have had Dropbox for a while, maybe this is why. I still haven't gotten an e-mail.
Thanks, 3GB extra credited today, my email had gone unread for a few weeks but was still okay to click and get the extra. I have the HTC HD2 with windows 6.5 and bootable Android on my SD card.

HTC and dropbox said they were cracking down on that and would remove the storage from anyone who used it also just use a sense 4 rom that should do the trick without it being noticed by HTC

The newest leak is sense 3.6. That may be why you're not seeing it.

ATT isnt going to care whats on the phone anyway.
They are going to send it off to an authorized repair service...(samsung), and it will get plugged in for diagnostic testing, then repaired.
After that, it will get wiped clean with a fresh firmware image, and re-sold as a refurbished device.
Dont worry about the data on the phone, unless it's information that you cant live without. It's going to be wiped away....g
Videos should have been saved on a micro SD card then you wouldn't have this issue.
