Calendar replacment - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hi,
I'm looking for a decent calendar replaced for the current boring default one
Any ideas?
My main gripe with it is that I can't click on the address to bring it up in a map

I use Jorte - not sure if it brings up maps from links but in every other aspect it's perfect for me - and having multi-sized widgets for weekly tasks etc is spot on for me.

I'll give it a try.
There are a lot of things wrong with the stock calendar, so atleast everything else will be better, I'll see if the map links work
Just tried it out... awesome
Links to maps work, this replaces 2 apps

is there anyway to use x10 mini pro version of calendar? because one of the annoying things in the x10 mini version is that it does not change orientation to landscape.. i dont have a x10 mini pro and dont know if the same happens on it
anyone?

the x10 mini pro calendar is crap
install the jorte calendar
it does landscape

Is it possible to use the Google Stock Calendar (same as the X10) on the X10 Mini Pro?

I couldnt work it out

Tried some but GeminiCalendar is the best for me.

[Q] calendar as wallpaper

Hi,
in june I seen app that could use current calendar as wallpaper. So I could see it all the time behind clockas, apps, etc .. but now when I got back to Android again, I just can't find it .. I don't remember the name of that app
does any one know any such app pls? Instead of some girl, black screen, etc .. I just want to see my calendar in week / day mode .. simply to have a view of all the upcoming appointments ..
I got X10 mini PRO
thx
i don't know of a calendar walpaper, but I use the Pure Calendar Widget and it works really well. You do need ADW Launcher for full functionality.

[Q] Difference between contacts views in 2.1 vs 2.2

I am using Wolfbreak's awesome v006 rom and I noticed that when I view a contact, I can no longer scroll to the left or right to see different pages of the contact's data like I could in 2.1 roms.
I used to be able to scroll to the left or right when viewing a contact to see related information such as facebook statuses and photos associated to that contact.
Now there is just a Info label on the bottom with a white dot above it when I view contacts.
Am I missing something here or has this ability been taken out of infinite view? or did i screw up installing the rom? Or perhaps I need timescape to make that work?
Would appreciate any insight into this as the contacts view is the only thing that I have found I don't like about this rom.
Mine doesn't pan left or right as well, but i didn't install timescape. However, scrolling up/down already shows all i need to know.
I'm not sure, but wolf's rom uses a port of the Xperia Arc contacts and maybe some features were removed to prevent errors or simply that feature isn't in Arc's contacts anymore. Maybe an Arc user could answer that.
The old one (2.1) just seemed much more organized and sleeker. But maybe that involved timescape integration. I'm not sure so I guess the question still stands.
There is an apk called FriendPivotLargeUI.apk that handles that stuff in 2.1.
I dont see Facebook status in mine but I removed timescape and face recognition... I dont remember seeing it there before though either and the spot for pictures is still there after I removed face recognition... Could be mistaken though...

thanks AyDee. I wonder if there are any 2.2 roms that use FriendPivotLargeUI.apk and not InfiniteView.
InfiniteView in my opinion is ugly compared to the 2.1 contact pages.
I think it may be used in addition to but not in place of infiniteview. Not sure though...

infiniteview has been there since 1.6
sent using my wicked awesome premium xda app

[Q] Social Networking Widget alternative ?

I have a love hate thing going on with Blur, even the remnants we see in Gingerbread, and have found that the only reason for my continuing to use it is down to the Social Networking widget.
This makes me sound like some kinda facebook and Twitter junkie which I am not really but I do find it handy not to have any notifications and to check out those social sites as and when I want to. The fact I can get the information on one application is handy as well rather than have to log into both apps individually.
So my question....is there a all in one, well facebook and Twitter anyway, widget that does a similar job to the Social Networking widget in Blur ?
Have looked through the Market and nothing leaps out at me.
I used to use Colorized Widget
the only gripe with that is 1) it doesn't work with Launcher Pro
2) I believe to get twitter and fb on one widget you have to get the paid app?
Another is Pure Messenger Widget it's a paid app again.. but it does both
Last, is Launcher Pro Plus. it's launcher alternative.. which has those functions built in. again it's a paid app

yeah LP already comes with widgets. i dont use launcher pro, i would if it were as smooth and had as much options as ADW EX. colerized widgets is nice though, there are another set called ADP widgets i think
Pure Messenger is awesome but its not battery friendly.
Android Pro Widgets and if you use GO Launcher there is an add on for it.

Many thanks for the suggestions.
Seems as though Blur did come up with one good idea for me at least !
I have tried CM7 and other de-blurred ROM's but that little widget is so handy.

It's alright.. the theme of it isn't that appealing to me imo but its functions were great.

[Q] Timescape Facebook widget 4x4

Hello Everyone
I just recently migrated from my old HTC Hero to brand new Xperia U.
Everything is fine and dandy, but I just can't live with standard Timescape Facebook widget. It is too small (2x4 icon).
I looked for a bigger (4x4) version, but I failed to find it.
Are there any modified Timescape widgets I failed to find ?
I managed to find 3x4 agenda widget that wasn't installed by default, and it's great.
I hope that someone could help me with my problem, as I wouldn't want to install any addisional software.
Thanks !
