Whenever I put my vibrant on airplane mode, I can never take it off. Phone settings will have it unchecked but if I hold down power, it is grayed out. The airplane symbol won't go away either. When I reboot, it shows airplane mode on but this time it'll actually come off.
I'm on bionix 1.7 ji6 but it happened when I was on stock rom also. I just haven't come across a fix to this

I may have misread your post, but I am unable to fly when my phone is in airplane mode as well.
Hopefully someone will post a solution as it's rather inconvenient.

It shows that airplane mode then turns on but even if I turn it off my signal still does not come back. Only thing I can do to get it back is reboot. So I can't listen to music without having to reboot after im done everytime. I am running axura version 2.2.5.9 . Can anyone help??

Make a backup, go back to stock, and reinstall 2.2.5.9. I haven't had any issues with signal dropping except for the occasional boot into airplane mode.
The headset unplugging drop signal was a known issue and was addressed in 2.2.5.6 (I believe).

Have you tried a clean wipe and fresh reinstall?

No. Do you mean as in reinstalling the whole rom? I didn't do anything. Just flashed

I've had data drop on .9 and I don't use headphones. Not sure the cause. I didn't do a clean install (go back to stock first) so I'm not going to say it's the rom.
Everytime I hit hibernate in the power menu now, yes fastboot is checked, it just powers off the phone normally. Any fixes, ideas?
I don't know. I had the same problem too. So I'm going to hop on this topic. And why is it that Hot Restart prevents me from receiving texts/calls until I do a proper restart?

I'm running ComRom 2.0 with OTB 1.5. When I turn my screen off sometimes the screen immediately turns back on. I have tried closing all apps but it still happens eventually. Does anyone else have this issue?
Yes I have had the same problem on all the com roms. It used to bother me but now I'm used to it

More information plese. What rom, kernel, modem? So you turned both off, and when you lock your phone, both turns on automatically? Do you have installed some app which manages connections, eg juice defender?
i am using the stock rom with cf-root. After i close both wifi and Data button in the notification bar,i lock my phone. When i turn it on again, both bitton have turned.on. i have never use apps like juicedefender.

Not sure what the issue is here.
I'm running InfectedROM Eternity 8.4.
If I'm updating apps and the screen turns off, the app updating stops and then continues again when the screen is turned back on.
Also, if I'm downloading a file from the browser, the download stops and fails after the screen has turned off for a minute.
I do NOT have any power saving apps installed on my phone or setting, to my knowledge, set to have this happen.
Is the ROM set up this way or is there a setting that can prevent this from happening?
I'd like to keep my data running while my screen is off.

Never mind...
I was being stupid and forgot the fact that I'm underclocked when the screen is off. Ha.
