[HELP] Pandora and Bluetooth a2dp issues - Nexus One Android Development

So have any devs figured out why Pandora skips while connected to a2dp Bluetooth devices? The stagefright fix improved the quality but didn't fix the stuttering. Any ideas?
I'm running cm6 203 nightly with no changes. It seems to do this on any of the recent roms.

Same problem on gingerbread as well, so not an HC issue.

This lag seems to be inherent on many mobile devices. It possibly due to excessive buffering within the firmware or hardware to maintain a stream.
As many know, there is no problem with the wired headset but I have also connected an external BT transmitter I have with my Motorola headphones to the jack socket and there is virtually no lag then, showing that its an internal problem, not just BT connectivity.
If it is not hardware related or needs a kernal fix then HTC should be able to address this, otherwise its down to Google.
Are there any video apps that'll delay the video so you can get it back in sync? I haven't found one yet, but surely someone makes one...
Sound on Linux and therefore Android is an absolute convoluted mess. The poor implementation leads to all kinds of problems. I'm not aware of any players that allow audio / video sync adjustment. Possibly when VLC player arrives on Android.

But 2 seconds??? not likely to be able to adjust that out. It would require too much buffering. What format is that in?
Hm. Just tried again and it's working perfectly. Awesome!
BB wifi flyer, GB w/ latest updates, Plantronics 903 headphones, and MX video player. Audio is perfect.
Video is HD tv, encoded by handbrake w/ AAC audio.

[Q] bluetooth music controls with ICS

I had been successfully using my Bluetooth car stereo to skip music tracks using Gingerbread MIUI and Winamp, but I am now running ICS, and the Bluetooth car stereo prev/next track buttons don't work anymore. Are there any fixes for this?
I'm running Rick_S's AOKP b25 with Glitch kernel. I was running THS 6 with Glitch before, and that didn't work either.

ICS build that maintains BT audio car connection?

Is anyone using ICS with a Bluetooth car stereo successfully?
I've tried Resurrection Remix and Litening ROMS with a JVC KD-R821 bluetooth stereo. When playing back Podcasts using Beyondpod the bluetooth signal repeatedly drops. It usually reconnects after a few seconds, but not always. I'm looking for an ICS ROM that doesn't suffer from this problem.
Any suggestions?

bluetooth audio issue

I am on Sprint, rooted and have frozen some bloatware. Poweramp insists on playing automatically whenever I get in the car. They cannot support me and do not have an answer. Is there a music player out there that does not start up automatically whenever it finds a bt connection? I have tried Jetaudio and did not like the audio quality. I have also notice that sometimes I am getting only one channel of stereo. Any suggestions?
Update : also noticing that bt sometimes streams only one channel...

BT streaming an issue on this phone?

Are there still issues streaming music via bluetooth on this phone? Was/is it only an issue for ICS? I'm looking at a few phones and this is one of them but I need, well, desperately want, to be able to stream via bt. Searching around I've seen where there have been problems.
Streaming media worked but bluetooth calling did not.

It depends on the receiver
A2DP audio streaming works great on all of the AOSP ROMs.
All Bluetooth functions work great on stock ICS.
I'm running the global ruu, locked and I stream music all the time. I also use BT for phone calls in the truck pretty much exclusively. Hard to hold a phone and shift gears!
