[Q] Back to GB 2.3.4 from ICS 4.0.3

I have my S2 rooted running Resurrection Remix Pro v1.1
Baseband i9100ZSLPE
Android Vers 4.0.3
Kernel version 3.0.15-i9100DXLP7-CL233393 [email protected]#3
However, I cant get SkyGo to run as it is not compatible with ICS.
I have downloaded the following rom: I9100XWKI4_I9100XEUKH2_EUK.zip
It contains the file : I9100XWKI4_I9100XEUKH2_I9100XXKI1_HOME.tar.md5
Can I install this using ClockWorkMod in recovery mode, or do I have to use Odin??
The reason I ask is that Voodoo Rootkeeper apparently does not work with phones updated with Odin, therefore if I can update using the zip file and CWM, that would be better for me as I will be able to root or unroot as required.
Thanks
Kieron
That's an Odin flashable file. Doubt you'll find many (any ?) stock roms CWM flashable. Flash the stock rom with Odin, then re-root your phone by flashing a matching CFRoot kernel. Piece of piss
Do you need a stock ROM? Can you not just flash a Gingerbread ROM in CWM?
If you didn't flash a pit file via Odin then you should be able to flash via CWM as long as the firmware is a CWM flashable copy.
Otherwise the .tar and .tar.md5 files can be flashed via Odin or mobile Odin.
Would have been a lot easier if you made a CWM backup of your GB firmware before installing ICS. Could have just restored and away you go.
Good luck.

Trying to get back to completely stock

I'm trying to get back to completely stock before return the Note. These are the steps I found in another thread. I was coming from the UCLF leak but the baseband is still showing UCLF.
1) Flash stock odin through Odin
2) Flash CWM Recovery through Odin
3) Flash AT&T Reset Flash Counter Zip through CWM Recovery
4) root without tripping the flash counter: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1518962
5) unroot without tripping the flash counter: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=133
After doing this, I thought everything looks stock until I noticed that the baseband was still on UCLF5. Did I flash the wrong stock odin?

[Q] Flash Stock Kernel and Retain Root

I have firmware XXBLFB (rooted) and have installed a custom kernel which I no longer wish to use. I would like to restore the stock kernel which came with this firmware release. I know I could just ODIN the BLFB firmware back and then re-root but it seems a long way to go. Is ther a way to use mobile ODIN with the firmware file to install Kernel only and retain root?
Thanks.
(Yes, you're right. I SHOULD have done a nandroid backup first!)

[Q] how to unroot and install stock ROM?

I'm rooted with CF-Auto-Root on a stock ROM. I want to unroot so that I can safely re-root with msskip's Toolkit. How do I get there? I don't care if I have to totally wipe my phone. I have the latest stock ROM from Samsung's web site if needed.
Flash a stock rom via ODIN wipes root .

[Q] Remove root and go back to stock?

How do I remove root and reflash a stock rom on? I used the downgrade root method awhile ago but now I want to remove it and replace it with stock.
I found this tutorial but will it work with the method of root I used? http://galaxys4root.com/galaxy-s4-tutorials/how-to-unroot-galaxy-s4-and-remove-root-completely/
Safestrap 3.72
Build VRUFNC5
Android 4.4.2
Just use Odin to flash a full wipe tar file.
