My HTC Mega often power off automaticaly and I cant soft reset it!!only by removing the battery I can power on the device!!!Please help me!!!!
This thread is not for ROM section, but for General mate, next time post in the right section. Go to General, there is a big thread about that and read whats wrong.
Maybe reinstall ROM
So I just got my HTC HD2 yesterday and I've been trying to personalize my ringtone, text message, etc. and then came across the "Themes and Apps" section. I looked through it, read some stuff and noticed that I could customize my HTC HD2. Wanting so, I went ahead and downloaded some stuff and dragged and placed it in my HTC HD2 and installed it. Then wanting to remove some of these themes and apps, I did. Then once I was asked to restart my phone it loads up the "stick together" banner and comes up to this orange "windows" screen and just freezes. Can anyone help? I am totally new and don't know what to do. Thanks in advance.
P.S. Once in a while, after the orange "windows" screen, it takes me to another screen saying "The device is unable to boot because either you have turned off the device incorrectly or tried to install an application from a untrusted source. Press the Volume Up to reset your device or press any other button to cancel. This operation will delete all your personal data and restore the device to its factory default settings." Is there anyway to fix this problem?

Thanks for replying. But I have a question, how can I wipe if I cannot get into my Home Tabs, Settings, etc? I've been searching and others were talking about Soft Reset and Hard Reset, but how is wiping possible if I cannot get into my phone? Sorry and thanks for your help, I'm brand-stinking new to this.

Yeah, I've been looking at the android, but I don't want to mess up my HTC HD2 again, and when I was reading through the "guides" and "tutorials" of the android, it went through one ear and out the other. Had no idea what people were talking about, haha. But in due time, but if you don't mind simple-ing it down for me, I'll put in the effort of going over to the android side.
Hi
I did it to my phone, i flashed wrong rom/kernel and now my two capacitive keys (the back and search in not working).

I have the ATT galaxy s2 and I just finished the steps for the rooting with odin and I am rebooted into recovery mode and can't seem to figure out which button is used for ok.
the power key isn't working for the ok option
Wrong forum, please become more experienced or knowledgeable of the conduct of our forums before you post.
Use the home button to select, back for back.
Edit. Oh never mind, you have an ATT sgs 2, which i am unkowledgeable about. I apologize for the incorrect info there.

you should try reading throught the at&t section before you post, if you did you would see that its the home button and the power button (in 5.0.2.7)

That would be the old location. Please try using the handy "find your device" search box at the top of every page.

Code:
su
reboot download
su obviously requires root, but since you're on a developers forum, we'll assume that is a given.
