My problem has been resolved by Nordic Flash Tool. Anybody ever facing this problem will have to simply flash their phone using this tool. And Thats it!

Follow the directions on the flash thread. Some of the firmware packages do not include the loader.sin file. You need to add manually if use GUI. I think the non-GUI version still adds it for you. Bin4ny also provides the loader.sin files, the link is right below the link for the GUI version.

Here is the flash tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=827065
Find the firmware you want to flash (x10i or x10a?). Put its files in the firmware folder of the FLash tool.
Here is a guide. http://www.youtube.com/user/BluechipJ#p/a/u/0/T5o5SaL-Gno
The guide describes how to do it. Just get the firmware you need.

Like I said the video is just for you to understand the method of flashing the phone. You have to use your own firmware. It could be 2.1 or 1.6, it doesn't matter.
now its working ! thanks!
but i have very bad signal!can be with the flash ?
Not tested by myself. I don't wanna change to the Japanese FW. Just uploaded for anyone who is interested.
7zip format. Flash with Flash Tool.
Sorry didn't notice this FW is already uploaded. Please help to delete this thread. Thanks.

Cool thanks. I haven't flashed anything other than X10i specific firmwares on my phone but I'd really like to use this (SO-01b FW) until the official Dual-Touch FW for the X10i comes out.
Sorry if this is a silly question --- If I flash this would I be able to go back to stock X10i firmware via flashtool??

Yep you can always go back. But if you don't wanna flash and reinstall all your apps. Then just flash the kernel.sin file. Then you should get Multitouch and don't have to restore all you stuff.
So just download the package and use the latest FlashTool:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746
And unpack the Docomo Firmware in the "firmwares" folder, then remove all *.sin files, except the kernel.sin.
Thanks a lot arkedk!
Damn need some help here ..
I tried to update with SEUS but it doesn’t work .. It says that the update is available and all .. And when I press to proceed it says the download failed or something like that ..
My phone has been rooted when I had 1.6 but 2.1 removed the root .. I’ve removed apps that require root such as TitaniumBackup and Barnacle’s wifi tethering .. But it still doesn’t work ..
Anyone in my situation or who can help at all?
btw I have an X10 phone
Appreciate fast replies!
either reflash using flashtool with a stock firmware that came before .435 and then update using suess.
OR
re root ur phone with flashtool then,
just flash one of the dualtouch firmwares found on the site, which would be .435 with flashtool. some come pre rooted etc.
Hmm ok I'll try. But I dont understand why this is happening cuz former update worked just fine :-/ .. And I haven't rooted since then either..
Thx for the reply!
yea idk either.
but try those
if it works remember to thank me !
just to be sure...ur on firmware .24 right ? and ur trying to get TO .435 ?
Actually I already pushed your thank button
Yes I got .24
Okay.
Well idk if u tried anything yet but as I said u can flash the. 435 firmware with flashtool.

Hey I think I solved it ..
My friend told me to try updating with PC Companion instead of SEUS and so I did .. And apparently I think it's working .. It's updating right now
Thx for the help though!
**EDIT**: Nope I was wrong .. doesn't work still
Hi All,
I am hoping that someone could help me. I am trying to repair my X10 using SEUS but it keeps coming back with the message that there is no software for my device. I am using Z's Froyo ROM at the moment... do I need to reflash stock ROM first then retry?
Thanks in advance for your help.

You're absolutely right...sorry about that. Posting in Q&A was my intention... just wasn't paying attention.
MOD please move/delete/burn/sacrifice or do whatever you feel necessary to this post.
Flash this ROM via Xrecovery then SEUS give u option for upgrade... an other thing is if u want to be on 2.1 this ROM is too good.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=941745
Thanks farazafs. The point of this exercise for me is to see if I can restore my battery performance. I have read on the XDA forums here that using the SEUS tool to repair the device and then load the ROM has helped some people with this issue.

Downgrade to .24 then try SEUS to repair to .435
This worked for me, now I am rooting, etc.. and am going to reload a ROM
as i posted it here
AN7 OverClocker said:
If you have problem with the update via SEUS because it says that you have the latest update and wont lets you reinstall the OS, you should try the following
1. Go Here and download the .504 version and flash it via flash tool.
2. Boot your phone and finish the settings wizard.
3.Shut it down
4. Run SEUS and update to .435
I hope that helps for any upcoming problems.

Hello everyone,
I have joined here hoping to get some advice, so i will be as complete with my situation as i can.
So, i rooted my phone, installed busybox, root explorer and CWM. No problems so far.
Read up on rom installations and attempted my first one. Cannot remember the rom at the moment but followed instructions as in "back up", wipe cache etc....
Now the phone is in bootloop, whereby it switches on, goes to sony erricson screen, blue light flashes and then goes blank. I cannot enter CWM, i cannot switch off until i remove battery.
I have tried both pc companion repair and seus repair but both say no software for phone(pc companion) and newest software installed(seus).
I have tried booting into safe mode the old fashioned way, but no go and finally....i have shouted obscenities at my phone but that doesn't work either.:silly:
any suggestions, or should i assume that it is bricked and send off for repair if possible?
Thank you.
Hey bro have you locked or unlocked bootloader?
Flash stock .587 firm with flashtool.
Some roms are only for locked or unlocked bootloader. You need to see that before install a rom. And remember. Not all the roms are stable.
Follow step by step. Is recomendable before install a rom. Flash stock firm.
Press thnks if I help to your mind.
