So im sending my hd2 back to htc for infamous random reboot rapair.
I had hspl3 intalled so i read a few threads on how to erase all traces of hspl3 so opted for the sd card method...(bad choice) it appered to be working ok untill it rebooted it slef and then it showed bad spl now im stuck at a black screen that reads "software update failed please try again so i did and it just was stuck on loading. So after searching for a fix i have tried to put and original rom on it and stays stuck at 0%, tried the leoimg on the sd card but still no luck......
My screen reads the following

My HD2 was repaired. Board/IC changed and also new screen.
But the guy said software needs to be installed. The screen was stuck on the first white screen with "htc".
I tried installing custom ROMS, HSPL etc but it got stuck with triangle and exclamation mark. I read lot of forums and realized I need to flash with stock rom using SD card. I downloaded the below stock/ship ROM from HTC site did the same with SD card flash and everything went successfully.
RUU_Leo_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.48.707.2_Radio_Signed_15.28.50.07U_2.05.51.05_2_Ship.
Now after I did hard reset and restarted the phone it is again back to the same white screen with "htc".

Can someone please help with step by step guide on how can I recover my HD2?
i was flashing a new rom on my hd2. i used "active sync," started through the flashing process and the phone came to the all black HTC screen with the status bar but it did not finish to 100%. it got to 40% and froze, then the wizard took me through a recovery process. my phone is stuck on the red green blue and white screen displaying: " ss-b3 spl-2.08 . hspl 8g xe 0x05 0x50 cotullahspl. what do i do from here?
model id is corrupted. you can try flashing stock from sd card, but i suspect you may be now stuck.
ok so i tried to nand install android onto my device and it got 25% on the HTC status bar then stopped, now it just says update failed, please try again, i cant get anything to flash to it in bootloader or w/ SD card.
on my device it says:

i saw task 29 so i tried that (it got rid of the "update failed please try again" thing) but i still cant get it to flash the stock rom w/ RUU or the SD card. w/ the sd card it flashes the white screen for a split second (short enough to where i cant even read "loading") then goes back to boot loader and does nothing
what else can i do?
also once i got the RUU to get it to 8% w/ the stock rom then it stopped and said connection error. why am i getting this problem?
wait just kidding, i kept trying RUU and it decided to finally flash it! it works now!

Last week I received one hd2 tmobile-us from my friend. He got stuck when he was trying to install android.
Currently he's stuck at the t-mobile screen, so I tried to do the power+volume down key and here's the result:

I'm aware that this is the new fone with spl3.03 on it. So here what I tried:
I tried to use hspl4 and install spl2.08 instead of 3.03 on it, and hspl gives me a error (code 0000000D)
I tried to download a old stock rom (LEO_RUU_1_5_TMOUS_2.10.531.0_Radio_2.08.50) and copy to the SD-CARd (8g), but it stuck at the white screen with the "loading...." text
I tried to install the rom by the bootscreen, does not work.
I tried to install MAGLD on spl3.03 anyway, and as expected, it did not work.
I myself do have another hd2 that's running android NAND on it, and I already spent 3 days searching the forum but I can find any answer on my problem. I'm running out of option and dont know what to do next.

i have HTC HD2(made in china)
when i press power On Button then show( software update failed please try again)
when i turn on it on flashing mode in color (red greeen blue and white) then it shows.

depends what you want to do. looks to me as if it has been flashed from sd with a tmous stock rom, which has loaded 2.08.0000 which has then said 'this isn't a tmous' and given your error.
lets say you want to move to android
into bootloader
hspl4 --> 2.08.hspl (not 2.08.0000)
bootloader
flash magldr
magldr menu - usb flasher
use nand toolkit to set system partition size
magldr menu - 8 ad recovery
instal zip from sd card - choose zip - point it at whatever android rom you want to instal (zip on your sd card)
done/

get any 3.14 winmo 6.5 rom.
put phone in bootloader, connect usb lead.
run hspl4
in the dropdown choose 3.03.hspl
when phone reboots, go again into bootloader
run the 3.14 rom.exe installaler.
done.

At what % did you get error?
Explain how it won't boot, no power? Suck on boot screen? Can you enter Bootloader?

1st when is going on into boot loader then during updating ROM it has stop at 8%.
after it got OFF and still not showing any thing. even i checked battery voltage . voltages are ok but leo not ok...
but from couple of days its not showing charging ' not showing any thing , even its not showing ( software update failed)
not entering in boot loader.
and not showing any thing on original charger.
