Hi
i tried to downgrade my X10 mini pro to 1.6 with this guide :
X10 Mini Pro 1.6 for Flashtool(Step-by-Step Guide & Getting Your Local 2.1))
but it did not work.
Then i tried to flash a other 2.1 region with this guide:
X10 Mini Pro 2.1 incl. Flashtool (Updated: Regions 9.11.2010)
I got no errors during this or the first guide.
But when i try to turn on my phone now it just vibrates shortly and nothing happens.
And when i connect it to usb it seems, that it just goes straight into flash mode, but the green led is blinking (every 10 seconds)
So that i cannot flash a firmware because it disconnects from my pc every
10-15 seconds.
I hope there is a solution for my problem.
maybe some kind of hard reset?
im thankful for every answer....
ps. sorry but for some reason i cant write the links to the guides and sorry for my bad english
repair via seus .... after the update or flash phone take time to start so waitt for few minutes....

Hi,
somehow I managed to load the "E10i-CUSTOMIZED UK-1237-0392-10A136.rar" into my mini pro.
Now when I try to rebrand my mini pro SEUS states that there are no updates available and doesnt give the option to reinstall.
I have tried older versions of SEUS and also PC suite for a hard reset.
My screen is stuck and I dont know what to do...
Does anyone have any recomendations - highly appreciated and will be rewarded.

Already tried the repair function in PCC? Donate the reward to XDA
The problem is that my screen is freezes so I cant connect the phone to PCC...
I also tried holding the back button down while connecting to PCC

Take the battery out and try again with seus. And for future reference - X10 Mini .

Each time I try the PCC it complains that I dont have any connection (which I of course have).

do not run PCC
do it via SEUS (SE update service) find it at your computer and run update exe , then just do what is shown.
via this method yopu do not have to connect to PCC,
You will connect to pc with phone holding back button so there is no possibility to screen freeze

remove battery,
connect usb cable
start seus
hold back button
put battery back in
witch moment do i have to put in battery?
sorry i`m a noob with android,always had siemens and did know all about this brand!

Make sure your using sony erricson update not pc companion

I think you have a very loose charging plug on your phone, your main aim is to keep the phone as steady as possible whilst you hold the back key. Make sure you are using SEUS as stated by another member of this forum. It should take you back to its original form which then you will have to root your phone and install xrec again and hopefully you will have had backed up your data to some point.
Hello, i need help because my X10 mini and not light or the sony logo, wanting to increase the baseband but I put a want of x8, now I've done everything but does not work, sony companion and seus says I have the latest software, and install a version 1.6 flashx10 e10i (when mine was E10A) accept the installation but still does not turn, I'm really desperate, I can only enter the flash mode, but I can not do anything else, and angry While Sony does not want to update the phone (which is why I wanted to minicm) and those who create custom rom both have to be well received thanks but when help ignore a problem, please help nesecito now.

Ok im downloading the flashtool and e10a firm, but in the last time i got a UPDATE OF 15 hours, its normal to flash the phone got that time?
I succesful flash the phone, but now, i cant go to the flash mode, and the phone now completely dont turn on, only the red led flash 3 times, WTF? help
I also had the same problem . The red led flash three times because your phones battery is dead. So you plug in your phone with usb cable to the computer and let it remain for two or more hour . During this time the phone would not turn on and you can do nothing with your phone during this time. You will only see the red led . After two hours of charging disconnect and run seus and Follow the onscreen instruction. I followed the above mentioned procedure and I got my mini back .

Hi guys!
I think I killed my phone. I upgraded to the GingerDx - V13 ROM, the first day it was working fine. Then the next day the screen is getting messed up until it won't start anymore. I tried using PC companion to hopefully factory reset it but (which it manages to finish the restoration) but now it is really not booting. It just lights up and then turns off. No SE logo or anything. Now I'm stuck as I don't know what to do next.

PC companion is not good.. try flash with SEUS..!! Google it..u may find a download..
In order to restore a bricked mini pro:
-Launch SEUS (NOT PC Companion)
-When asked to plug the phone, press Home+Back (and keep them pressed) and then plug the phone on usb.
-Release Home and only keep the "back" button pressed.
If you followed the sequence properly, you will see the green led on and flashing process will start. If not, try it again.

I forgot to say that my LED is not working anymore (dunno why) I am trying to find SEUS installer. It seemed like you can't download it through SE's website.
EDIT:
WTF?! I dunno there's another XPERIA Mini Pro which is NOT X10 Mini Pro. I flashed my X10 Mini Pro with the Xperia Mini Pro ROM Maybe that's why it's not booting anymore.
I tried reflashing it with the correct X10 Mini Pro (via PC Companion) ROM but still no effect. Maybe I messed up the phone big time? I will try SEUS if I can find one. I hope it works.

Looks like a hard brick in my opinion if you flashed the wrong phone's firmware I suggest you send the phone back to SE for repair.

Thanks a lot for the link. I tried using it, still not working. I have a feeling that it really is hard bricked now. My next try will be using flashtool this time.

Tried FlashTool, still dead. My phone needs an overhaul Too bad it's not under warranty anymore
try to unplug your batterie, wait ... plug the batterie, start into recovery ( clockmod ) and reflash with a new rom .
If your bootloader is lock, you cant brick your phone

PS: Are you sure you have the good firmware ?
In the post of doixant ( x8 ), you can see : Latest kernel and latest baseband xxx015
Another exemple : MiniCM7 for X10 mini ( not pro ) : Latest 2.1.1.A.0.6/2.1.1.C.0.0 SE firmware / Baseband: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015 due to kernel dependencies. This is automatically tested during the installation.
I guess, it's same for all custom rom

Do you have already use Flashtool ?
If your are under Vista or Win 7, you must disable the UAC ( User Account Control ) for flashtool works. Search in google, I m french and i've found lots of pages, but in french.

I'm sorry, but I really think your phone IS a hard brick now . I remember reading about a user that flashed a Galaxy S firmware onto his Galaxy S2, in the end he had to send his phone to the repair shop.
The same is probably true of your phone. I think you had better send it to the repair shop .
Hi , frens I got flash tool installed last time (latest version) incl all x10 mini pro driver with SE PC companions, I do all the steps correctly to flash Android 2.1 but is says "Unplug and turn USB debugging on" but I have already turn the USB debugging on, I have repeated these steps many times but hopeless...
Any idea or inspirations about these problem because my frens'x10mini pro have Android 1.6>>>

Do you have the correct baseband? Not sure if it matters but check it any way Try to install the older version of the flash tool.

can you give more details as to what you are doing?
is your phone working fine? can it boot at least to the white sony ericsson logo?
if not, what does it do when you are trying to turn it on?
are you upgrading to a new update?
It is my fren's phone x10 mini pro old one with android 1.6, everything is working, I have rooted it using super one click and.....then I got flash tool error

if your phone still boots, then it is better to use PC companion to update to newer firmware.
if your phone is branded, better read the Flashtool thread thoroughly.
and yes, x10 mini pro =/= x10 mini.
be careful what firmware you put in. it needs to be either u20i or u20a for the x10 mini pro.
