If you push photo button and turn on WM7 you enter in a new mode and zune try to restore phone.
Me zune cannot restore and return an error code.
Different phones have different key combinations you can press at startup to make boot into restore mode (to flash a new rom). Sounds like you found it. In order to restore, you usually need to have a special driver from the manufacturer. If you reboot the device (maybe remove the battery), it should return to normal mode.

No to enter bootloader it's vol- and turn on but this is not bootloader, it's another unknow mode.
i found it !
it's service mode :
The Service Mode key (e.g.: the camera button) was pressed at power-on.
Boot to the ULDR to allow the phone to be serviced.

Please help me. I'm desperate.
EDIT: I DID A HARD RESET AFTER FLASHING. IT WORKED!
Hello all,
since I'd spent a couple of hours trying to solve this problem, I figured I'd say a few sentences about this as at least I myself would have found it useful...
This is regarding the LGP500 / LG Electronics P500 Android phone. For similar phone users: if you know your key combinations for hard reset and Emergency modes AND you know which ROM image to use (and have access to it), this might help your Android phone as well.
After somehow having managed to screw up the Android OS / /system (unrooted the phone (this went well) and then did some extensive modification/experimentation with the system; I think it might have been terminating the abd terminal while insmod'ing a faulty kernel module that screwed things up),
I ended up with a phone that would only show the LG logo during boot time - not even an Android logo (as the user above had had). Obviously, the phone did not respond to any USB connection queries; the hard reset (keep HOME+VOLUME_DOWN pressed, press Power) would end up splashing a pretty reset image/logo, but would then fall back / reboot into the LG logo.
In the end, the procedure turned out to be rather simple and practically as explained above:
1) make sure your host OS recognizes the phone - install the phone driver in Windows (use "LGMobile update", might need to enter your IMEI OR (Model AND Serial num.); under the battery) or update /etc/udev rules in Linux (I didn't want to further experiment with a windows-program firmware updater under Wine, so used Windows for this); OSX doesn't need any action AFAIK;
2) make sure the phone is off. Remove and re-insert battery if needed;
3) while holding RETURN+VOLUME_UP (not HOME, but RETURN (the right key out of the two in the center), and not VolDOWN, but VolUP this time), press Power. After some time, the phone should display a bright yellow screen with the text "Emergency mode." (**);
4) connect the USB. You have to act fast now, as the phone will only wait for some seconds before rebooting back into agony. as far as I understand, it is now just waiting for the new ROM image;
5) having followed the steps in the previous post above regarding setting up KDZ_FW_UPD and having selected your ROM image, make sure you set the mode right - the only difference from above is that now, you have to choose "Emergency" instead of "DIAG.";
6) Hit "Launch software update." If it hangs and becomes unresponsive for a while, that's a good sign. It should later start dumping log data into the window. Obviously, don't disconnect (THEN you might end up with a bricked phone..) etc.;
7) After everything finishes, you might need to restart the phone once more and do a hard reset (as mentioned above); but might not be needed.
(**) - if after trying a lot of times with the RETURN+VOL_DOWN -> PowerUp combination (and inserting the USB cable afterwards) you end up not arriving at a bright yellow screen, you might be screwed. At least this procedure relies on the assumption that the Emergency mode is working. But as far as I understand, you can completely screw your OS/ROM up and still have the Emg. mode available; so check thoroughly before making any conclusions.
Sorry for the long post, but maybe this will save someone some time/money.
Regards,
Kostas.
Also check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=883314 and read about experiences from other users....
This is really dangerous work, and every step is important!! So make time to well study about!
Doesn't work for me here..i'm stuck at the yellow screen of emergency mode and the kdz says that it can't connect to my phone even with the lge virtual modem disabled..
help pls..i like to try the cyanogen by mik
Just a quick thanks. It worked for me after I thought my phone bricked ;-)
Good of you to post the details
try this
1. flash custom recovery (in emergency mode) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1318750
2. install whichever rom you want from custom recovery
if you want 2.3.3 in zip format to flash from custom recovery follow :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1309744
for just hard reset worked.....
All,
I inherited a seriously injured HTC surround, and I have decided to use it as a project phone.
Current status - Half Bricked on the bootloader + when it boots it immediately asks to be connected to restore backup. Unfortunately I have no zune backup and neither does the original owner of the device.
So I have read everything I could find on the half-brick issue and it seems that some folks are having success using the goldcard method to over write their boot loader with various HTC devices. I am will to try this but all the vids I have seen tutorials etc show that you have to put the device into enter usb host mode (blue writing on white screen)
Only problem is ....I have no idea how to do this on the Surround. I have tried every button combo on boot and cannot find it.
Someone here must know how to do this in return I will post my findings on whether or not the Goldcard trick works to repair a 1/2 brick surround.
Thanks

Hi,
Power off the device
Press and HOLD both camera and volume down buttons
Press power on button and KEEP holding both battery and volume down buttons
After boot screen will follow the usb screen
Now release battery and volume down buttons
Regards, ansar
Ok I can only get to the tricolor screen showing the 1/2 brick spl. is the the usb host mode? Because I see on some videos on youtube a white screen with blue writing that says enter usb host mode. This is what I am trying to achieve.
Or if this is the USB host mode should I just attempt to do the flash via gold card and see if I can get rid of teh 1/2 brick?
USB Host mode
To enter USB host mode turn off the phone, then press and hold VOL down + camera buttons, then press power.
But the phone will not enter USB host mode if you only see one line en the tricolor screen (this state is half bricked). For the phone to be able to enter USB host mode, the tricolor screen must have more than 1 line but the only missing part must be Serial/USB at the bottom. Check well the videos on youtube, and you will notice before entering USB host mode that the tricolor screen have more than 1 line (someone call this state small half bricked).
My phone is also half bricked (one line in the tricolor screen), the only solution I have found is to do an HTC OEM update, either by waiting for HTC to release an update (that includes a bootloader) through zune or by forcing it (for this the phone needs to be developer unlocked).
P.S. ChevronWP7 is not selling more unlocking tokens at the moment, and the $99 AppHub membership is too expensive for me.
Thanks Guys
After reading your posts I tried it out on my good surround and sure enough was dumped directly into Enter USB Host Mode screen
So now I am sitting here wondering what can I do with this thing it will not boot to anything but the screen to connect to restore backup.
Could I give anyone here anything useful about the device? Maybe disect it and post pics? Maybe someone could find these jtag posts? Or keep it for spare parts? Seems like a waste to just chuck it
Maybe you can repair it

rob243, you can try to install a new firmware, depending if the firmware is a version inferior to 2250.21.40500.502. You can use a tool called Cab Sender (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1306415) to send firmware version mondrian_2250.21.40500.502.cab (search in xda-developers), for the enter the phone to recovery mode (just press and hold CAMERA, then power, ang then release the 2 buttons).
Hi, I have a Motorola Moto E.
After i Unlocked it in bootloader and erased all data with fastboot and adb. I did a recovery with TWRP.
I tried there many things because it said that there was no OS installed.
The last action I did was trying to install a firmware update. (OnePlusFirmware)
After that it asked for reboot so i did, but the screen remain black. I can't start it with hold or Vol Down + Hold. Also with the USB Cable to the computer it won't do a thing.
The only thing what I see is the LED light at the top Flashing sometimes.
It look likes bricked but many unbrick solutions required the bootloader/download mode and that can't I get to.
Can somebody please help me? Thank You

Assuming you are on Windows: what does the device show up as in Device Manager when you plug it in? Also, while it is plugged in to your computer, press and hold PWR + VolDn for 10 seconds, then release PWR while still holding down VolDn for 3 seconds, then let go of VolDn too. After doing this, refresh the list of devices in Device Manager. What do you see in Device Manager then?
If you see something along the lines of QHSUSB-DLOAD, I'm afraid you've bricked your device. If you are in that state, it will have to be blank flashed at the very least, and certain device identifiers may need to be reprovisioned as well depending on how badly it broke it. I don't think the blankflash files are publicly available for this device, so if this is the case, you'll need to take it to Motorola for repair.
If you are able to get the bootloader to come up by following the steps I mentioned above, then you will probably be able to fix your device by flashing factory images.
If something else shows up, post it here and we'll see what can be done.
And remember, NEVER EVER flash firmware for a different device, particularly if it is a completely different device (like the OnePlus One).

I think I'll bring it back to the shop.
Thanks for your advise. And yeah I'll do that never again
Hi, This guide is made for flashing Alcatel OneTouch POP UP (6044D). This won't work on any other device. This guide is very simple. If your device has been soft BRICKED or Hard BRICKED this is the way to restore it.
THE FIRMWARE PROVIDED IN THIS THREAD DEOS NOT BELONG TO ME
I AM NOT RESPONSABLE OF ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR DEVICE BECAUSE OF THIS GUIDE, DO NOT TELL ME THAT YOUR DEVICE HAS BEEN BRICKED
What you will need
1: PC/ Laptop
2: Miracle Box (Link given down the thread)
3: Qualcomm Drivers
4: The Device
And some knowledge
So Let's start.
Link for Firmware:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByQqd_psFzvxSEJ1OUpxSFFtRW8/view
Link for Miracle Box:
Link will be available tomorrow
First download QUALCOMM drivers, it's very essential or your PC won't detect it.
Download Miracle box (PROVIDED in the THREAD). The miracle Box has been cracked so it does not need a dongle. Make sure to turn off the antivirus otherwise the Antivirus will delete it:crying:
Download the FIRMWARE of the device, I have tried other Firmware with different tools but this was the only one that worked, my device was also Hard BRICKED, so the FIRMWARE is tested. Also I have tried other guides provided online but neither of them worked for me, Flashing it with QFIL Will lead to an error or an Unfinished flash.
When everything is installed.
[PHOTOS ARE INCLUDED ONE THE BOTTOM OF THE THREAD]
Open Miracle Box, Click on QUALCOMM, Then on Flashing, There you will see two option "Write Flash" and "Custom Flasher", so Click on "custom Flasher". Then choose "File to Write".
Also choose Partion(s) that you want to Flash. e.g. System.img so choose system as Partion and system.img as file to Write.
Once all of this is done, boot the device into edl mode, yes, 6044D has edl mode.
HOW TO
So to boot into edl there are two ways to boot into it. First is through recovery mode (stock) or TWRP etc... So if you have a recovery then navigate to reboot to bootloader in recovery, when pressing power button to choose it, press volume + and - at the same time start pressing home button two to three time. and then will turn dark black or back with backlight turned on.
This one is for without recovery, in case you don't have a recovery then, press power, volume + - and home button at the same time, the phone will start and will show boot logo, keep pressing it till it restarts, (When restarting press the home button multiple time) and it will go in edl.
(But in my case, I had to do it multiple time to get to edl mode)
Back to PC. Plug the USB to the device and the PC then Press port button, if it doesn't detect it, it means that it's not in edl mode, try again
When all is set press start, ( everything said on the upper paragraph must be done quickly or it will give an error ) so be quick:good:
Once the partition is flashed, do the same one by one with the whole rom, mainly system, boot, recovery etc... (When doing it you don't need to reboot and come back in edl mode)
WHEN FLASHING DO NOT REMOVE THE USB PORT! OR IT WILL LEAD TO EVEN WORSE CONDITION, JUST DON'T
Reboot and enjoy!
If you have any problems or questions ask me, give a thanks, that keep me motivated:silly:
Some stock rom screenshots are attached,
Another thing is that of you have a custom recovery for Alcatel pop up 6044D, like TWRP, CWM or Philz recovery, so please send it to me
I have an LG Harmony, model LM-X210CM. Through a botched rooting job, the device has nothing on it except TWRP.
When I first boot, I get the "Your device software cannot be check for corruption. Lock the bootloader. PRESS THE POWER KEY TO PAUSE BOOT. Your device will boot up automatically after a while."
I tried to use the LG Mobile Support tool to access and restore the factory image (not sure if that software even does such a thing), but the program doesn't recognize the phone as being plugged in, though Windows 10 does and gives me access to the internal storage.
I am able to boot the phone into TWRP by holding down Power and Volume Down.
I'm thinking that if I acquire a stock ROM, I can get this phone going again. But two questions arise: where on Earth might I find a non-sketchy ROM, and will this fix the "Your device software cannot be check for corruption...." message when I first boot?
Thanks for your time and consideration.

If your device has TWRP, then you can download the firmware from the LG official website of your device. Although you must seek the exact firmware for your country or region. I hope this helps! If you need more help, let me know.
I'm also using a lmx210cm. Although, it's a fortune 2. I tried using Twrp 3.1.3 ... I think, didn't take. What version did you use?
i didn't see my answer, perhaps it's hidden ... so excuse me if i'm repeating myself. sorry, but i'm not allowed to post hyperlinks ... i'm not sure about just posting the link, which is LGs site for the firmware. neither are labeled "Harmony" though, although they are for the lm-x210cm.
