Hey guys!
I've searched a lot and wasn't able to find the solution. My phone got bricked after performing the 2.1 update. I've searched the whole afternoon and finally found that I can downgrade it to 1.6. And so I did.. the flasher said something like kernel not found.. skip.. and after that I got stuck on the Sony Ericsson wellcome sign.. the worst part is that I can't enter the bootloader to try and reflash it... can anyone help.. because I'm getting very desperate...

Have you tried seus?
Try
Quoted from dopeless, so creds to him
Code:
I've managed to recover it via PC - Companion. When it says, that you have to power off the phone, then hold "back" button and connect usb, you have to hold both the "back" and "home" buttons, then press the "power" button and in the momen, when screen goes black, immediatley connect usb. Then slide your finger to hold only the "back" button.
will try both solutions! thanks guys! i'll give them a spin as soon as my phone awakes because i left him on the sony ericsson screen and now his battery's dead. i'll post something when i have a result!

As mentioned above, repair using SEUS or PC companion. Good luck!
well.. that's it for seus.. tryed it 5 times.. everytime it gets to around 98% and shows error.. as for pc companion.. it doesn't even recognize the device as x10.. it recognizes it as a sony ericsson phone. i don't know if this will help but this is the log from the x10flash tool..

i have the same problem and i was frustrated for like a week.
so i end up sending it back to sony to fix it. i tried x10flash tool, pc companion, seus and da vinci.
send it back to sony? and did they replaced you phone?
have u tried to enter recovery mode constantly to detect the device?
it happened to me before, i fixed it by updating it( if you dont mind losing data ).
i first entered the update option in pc companion. i then connected the phone to be detected by holding the back key while inserting the usb( you must do this multiple times as it will be disconnected ). the model wont be recognised so you choose the model. then it will ask you to put the phone into recovery again to resume the update, do this and the phone should update and be restored to normal.
im not sure if you have fixed it yet so just sharing advice.
Same has happened here.
Tried plugging in for PC Cmopanion but it says cannot find phone.
Tried flashtool - but it says I need to have USB debugging enabled. (Hw can I do this if the phonte won't even boot!?!?)
Tried the restart to safe mode - but CANT because holding down HOME, OPTION, VOLUME DOWN, or BACK keys lead to NOTHING!
I would really appreciate detailed help instea dof just saying 'SEUS' or 'DA VINCI'. DOn't mean to be rude but please be a bit more detialed.
i have the same problem!!, (i was messing with framework.apk) now phone is stuck in Sony Ericsson screen and can't set the debug mode on so i can't use flash tool either but it looks like Pc Companion still recognizes it and it seems like it can be fixed as alwynejunior described before, i am just charging the battery a little more to try it, if not i will have to take the phone to my service provider and ask them to reflash the phone (they reflashed my Motorola before so maybe they will do it again with my X10). i'll tell you how it goes u_u
UPDATE: so everything went ok i just have to say that i love PC Companion :3
You just have to connect your turned off X10, then open PC Companion (it's going to say that there isn't a phone connected but that's ok) then click on support zone, click on software update and a pop-up is going to appear, click in the blue link there and follow the instructions

I just flashed my x10 mini using flash tool (upgrade to 2.1), i followed the instruction until it say finished and unplug the usb conection.
But after i pushed turn on button, the LCD only shows light (about 5 second) and then off, and countinue on and off (no SE text / logo).
I have tried some solution with SEUS and PC Companion, even try to reflash, but none of them sucsesfull.
Any solution, thanks...

I will try this, but FYI
I still can flash my phone, it detected in my PC while I press back button and plug the USB, and the flash successful and told to unplug the USB, but again when push the power I still got the some problem. I have tried this for 3-4 times.
Using SEUS, it still can detected my phone, and search for update, but told something like my phone have the last updated.
Is the SE text / logo appear while we charge it on power off? (coz while I charge it, the LCD only got bright-gray light)
I just brought this phone few days ago from my friend, haven't charge it while power off.
Pc companion and seus are not the same thing just start again with seus

Bricked?
Instead of creating a new thread, I'll just post this here.
I probably irreversibly bricked my phone last night. Used this script (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=888250) to enable JIT, and that worked out fine. But When I tried to install App2SD, the terminal emulator displayed some “rm error” very briefly, before crashing, and all non-sony stock apps disappeared. Rebooting the phone, apps came back but root was broken, 3rd party apps run into errors, wifi cannot obtain IP addresses. After a user data wipe, cannot recognize SIM card
- Unfortunately, on a highly idiotic note, XRecovery was not working right before I attempted to install app2sd (I do have a backup).
- Sony Ericsson PC Companion cannot find software for the device, saying “no software available at this point”.
- SEUS says the phone already has the newest software version
- Flashtool says to check USB Debugging, Unknown application source, but they already are enabled.
- Flashtool (when trying to install busybox) and SuperOneClick 1.9.5 encounter the error: -exec ‘/system/bin/sh’ failed: Permission denied(13)-
Is there some way to install xrecovery through a computer? The SE backup and restore app is still there, but I don’t have a SE backup. Any other ideas, or am I totally screwed?
Thanks in advance.

Let me explainy i power the phone on and it only show "Sony Ericsson" and flash the screen with light and thats it after that the phone is off and after a few seconds does the same thing.
Can someone help me.
Maybe it has not finished with the guarantee and i can use it to get a new one.
I know i am a really noob at this things i am english is not perfect but what can i tell, sh.. happen.
Thanks for your time and i will update the status of my phone.
I guess you didn't unlocked the boot loader. If you didn't unlocked the boot loader try using pc companion to fix the phone.
Pc companion/support zone/phone software update/repair phone and follow the instruction.I think this will fix the phone.

Hi
To start with, I'm a complete noob so sorry about that.
I got an x10 mini pro last year for my birthday. I don't remember the android version it came with but somewhere during the beginning of this year, I updated my phone to android 2.3.4 running on firmware was .62
Anyway, the phone comes with pre installed bloatware and the new update stuff like the 3d camera (which I never use and don't want)
So, I set about the scary task of rooting my phone. I tried z4root and superoneclick. They didn't work so I used Flash Tool 0.7.1.0.
I did a lot of reading and spend a lot of time going through tutorials before starting.
First, I flashed .42 firmware on the phone.
The log said that it was flashed successfully. I tried rebooting the phone but it gets stuck. The screen shows "Sony Ericsson" (the text) and it dissolves into blue color. Then it loops again. So I guess it's bricked?
PC companion doesn't read the phone so I can't use that.
I tried using SE update but it gives me an error message (I'm on Windows 8 so it could be the Java)
Flash Tool doesn't recognize the phone anyway.
I can't enter flashmode or fastboot mode.
Half of me wants to throw this phone against the wall but the other half of me just wants to fix this.
HELP?????
Edit: OK, now it won't even go to the boot screen. Its completely dead. When I press the power button, it vibrates but the screen is black. No LED light either.
Well i had bricked my phone too.
It was sawing sony and sony again and again.
It wasnt recognized by seus or PCC either but flashtool could detect it at least.
And Just a question your phone stopped working out of nowhere? i mean not even the led would light?
You did something. didnt you?
edit:
After i research i found this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=826455
Let me remind you a thing.
You have to keep holding back and then connect your phone with the PC.
EDIT AGAIN:
try uninstalling every single app wich interacts with your mobile also uninstall all the drivers in your computer for your phone and then reinstall flashtool and install all the drivers (for me it worked once... i dont know why but th drivers where not working correctly) from flashtool
Hi all,
It seems my X10 mini pro is completely bricked.
Firstly I root my phone
after that I copied the xrecovery and made a restart, till then everything was rolling smoothly.
I backed up and reseted to factory settings. loaded the new update.zip and after the restart that was needed my phone briked
it's not a common brick. I can't use flashtools to recover it.
here is the problem that appears...
6/030/2013 18:30:20 - ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="SECURITY_CLASS";ERR_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed"
16/030/2013 18:30:20 - ERROR - Error flashing. Aborted

Press home and power buttons together, it will restart the phone, then start pressing the back-button repeatedly to get back into recovery and restore your previous rom from there. (Come to think of it, following my last paragraph below, you probably don't have recovery on your phone anymore, so, as Rempty mentioned above, repairing with SEUS or PC Companion would be the start to recover your phone to a usable state,.)
The error flashtool gave you is because you didn't unlock the bootloader and didn't change the kernel on your phone. It can't flash any non-sony kernel on a locked bootloader.
What is this 'update.zip' you're talking about? Most full roms have more informational names to distinguish between different zips. An update.zip is usually only for hotfixes to ROMS already flashed, and not a complete ROM.
Thanks a lot guys. I solve my problem with SEUS.
Phone completely formated.
Love you guys

i try the PC COMPANION but my phone did not detect it..
this is what i did to bring back life to my x10 mp.
Switch phone completely off then if not already running start pc companion. then this step really got to me because of the phone constantly restarting, to get pc companion to detect the phone, i pressed and held the back key down and connected the usb cable just like flashing a new kernel. pc companion then detected the phone as x10. doesnt matter. then start the update and you must do the same thing again to force update service to detect the phone and to give the option to repair. then once thats done follow the prompts through update service, it will then ask you what phone you have, choose x10 mini pro and update.its a long process but be patient and your phone will work again.

Hello everyone in the XDA community, my very first post and my first bricked phone :/
i've been trying in my spare time to unlock my neo v/ MT11i sim-carrier locked and bootloader 'no' with 11W46 but with no luck. Tried s1tool for identification on the bootloader via testpoint and successfully installed semc driver/ zeus flash driver however patching semc it failed qcReceivePacket: can't get packet data. then i found the zero% fix tool method but then thats when it died. before running the method i held the 'menu' button and inserted the usb.....
a 'sony control driver' poped up and my pc crashing and restarted. No led, no vibrate, no boot. and no detection by the pc. I've read across the forums such as charging the battery over 24 hours and putting it in flashboot mode but the phone still didn't respond-dead brick. read about trim area damaged and jtag box is the only way to rebuild the damaged bootloader but these were cases where people flashed roms, so i couldn't directly compare if this was the cause of the brick. contacted Alejandrissimo a few days ago for some advice with my bricked phone but no reply yet. bought a spare ba700 battery from ebay and tried troubleshooting with it, low battery red flash did come on when i tried to turn on but still no response with booting, vibrations and led. afterwards charging the new battery, it acted the same way as before.
The only way the pc detected the phone was reusing the semc identification method via testpoint. plug the test point cable and pointed it to the 2nd gold plate away from the battery and on the side closest to the micro sd reader and plug the usb port however in device manager the zeus flash driver had a yellow attention triangle meaning not the correct driver or something. so i reinstalled it but no change and tried removing it and only showed qhusb load. Running s1tool and flashtool i tried to get the neo recognised but with no luck i was unable. eg. holding back button for 15+ seconds.
i'm still a novice to android and really appreciate any help possible.
