[Q] half-brick Jetstream, need help!!!

Hi,
I have a Rogers JetStream and I wanna flash it with RUU as the LTE doesnt work properly
I tried all the RUU from dev section, and they all have the same error:
Partition Update FAIL!
or
PN-FAIL
Is this a hardware issue?
Should I send for repair?
Since The device is still kinda functioning, but I just wanna a factory restore and make it clean and may get rid of the LTE connection issue
have you tried the built-in factory reset, the one from the bootloader menu?
I agree about the factory reset. I'm in Toronto too, and my LTE is amazing: http://www.speedtest.net/android/143590701.png (At University and King.)
I've rooted, but otherwise I'm using stock ROM and kernel.
However! If you really want to install a new ROM, you may want to try unlocking the device at htcdev.com. I had to select "other devices," as the Rogers Jetstream isn't listed there. Worked just dandy.
This my speedtest on Bell LTE Downtown Toronto
the reason i wanna RUU is i have strange crash and reboot after root, and i wanna back to the stock state
so factory reset isnt an opinion for me
i did unlock bootloader, but doesnt even run RUU
I wanna s-off but too bad i found no way to do it

Did you figure this out? I would like to go back to the stock state as well.

[Q] Unlock question..

Alright, so I've got my TFP rooted and went to use the unlock tool via ViperMOD, which worked like a charm except for the fact that it wouldn't install CWM. Did as previous posts suggested and went with a factory reset through Settings, and now I'm back to square one.
Since I did a factory reset, is my bootloader still unlocked? I'm still rooted, but that's beside the point. Is there any way for me to check if my bootloader is unlocked?
I'll answer your question but I want you to answer one of mine. My understanding is that it will say that the boot loader is unlocked while booting and there is no"re-locking".
I haven't been able to unlock my bootloader with the app from the vipermod or downloaded directly from Asus. I've been trying for about 2 weeks I reflashed .15 and reupgraded, reflashed. 21. Did a number of factory resets, attempting to unlock between each step. How did you make it work?
I actually just picked another TFP up recently, this one for the lady, so it came with .15 already. From there, I just rooted then used viperMOD to install the Unlock Tool. Are you getting the "network connection" error?
Got impatient and D/L'd ROMManager, then flashed CWM without any problems. Guess I'm still unlocked ;p
Yea, network connection error
I was getting that for a while, but that was a week ago now or so. I'm guessing it's a problem on their side (hopefully servers are down for maintainance? >.<).

Boot Loop'd while trying to Unlock Oem

So after I tried to unlock my oem, the tablet went into a boot loop. Now I manage to get it out by running in recovery mode and wiping data but once I did that does that mean I still have my oem unlocked or do I have to unlock it all over again?
It will remain unlocked.

Are you using the Nexus 10 toolkit? I'd suggest re-locking and unlocking the bootloader again, and then follow the instructions listed. Hope that helps...

After a bootloader unlock, you have to Factory Reset as a security measure. The Nexus 7 automatically did this, but the Nexus 10 does not (but still needs the reset regardless). If you don't reset, you'll experience the bootloops you've mentioned.
The bootloader will remain unlocked unless you manually re-lock it again (you can factory reset, install custom ROM after ROM, and etc. and still be unlocked).

Nope. The only way this will ever get relocked, is if you do so yourself manually.
