Nope. The only way this will ever get relocked, is if you do so yourself manually.

I have a HD2, but I'm on AT&T, I plan to flash a custom rom, as I did with my Tilt.
Will I still need to unlock my phone after a custom rom is flashed?
thanx
yes, rom flashing has zero effect on network lock.

Just out of curiosity (as I have no need to sim unlock my phone)
If you have a phone sim unlocked, will it remain sim unlocked if you later flash it (HSPL or ROM)?
How would you re-lock it if it has to be returned for warranty purposes.

no it won't re lock, there is no way to re lock an unlocked phone (that i know of)
as for warranty, it doesn't matter, unlocking your network is not against terms and conditions.
When I had to return a T-Mobile MDA Compact IV (HTC Diamond) because the USB connection was faulty. I was told that if it was flashed with a non-T-Mobile ROM or was SIM unlocked, then that would void the warranty.
T-Mobile voided it because it had an HTC Diamond stock ROM.

As you say, nothing to do with SIM unlock. It is just theat they also told me that a SIM Unlocked phone would be void of warranty.
nah, thats just some phone desk monkey making stuff up. if it voided warranty, why would they give you one if you asked?
Hey all, Im selling my unlocked Vibrant and did a 'Factory Data Reset' to wipe my personal information. Does it need to be unlocked again?

Is it was possible to go back to stock after unlocking the boot loader and rooting? I wanted to root/CWM and unlock my atrix using Automatic bootloader UNLOCK/ROOT for AT&T 1.26/1.57/1.83/4.5.91 [UPDATE 07/31/11] but first wanted to check in case Motorola comes out with their "unlocked" boot loader and OTA's would work again.
Thanks,

This IS Motorola's unlocked bootloader mate, it's been out in certain parts of the world but not all. AFAIK, the SBF's are the bootloaders extracted from the updates which have the unlocked bootloader OTA so everyone can use it.
Interesting did not know that. Ok looks like I'll be doing that tonight. Thanks.
How do I lock the bootloader to LOCKED as if it were a brand new phone and not say RELOCKED?

you cannot unless your phone is s-off...
Ninji is correct.
You need to S-Off then reflash RUU to obtain the "Locked" Status.
Hi,
Does anyone know how to relock the bootloader after I unlocked it and had a custom rom on it?
I want to use services like Google Pay without Magisk and it dosnt work with the bootloader unlocked.
I tried to switch the "OEM unlock" option in Developer option back off, but it looks like it is off, although below the switch it says: Bootloader alredy unlocked.
If i switch it, it'll just go trought the unlocking process as if the BL wasnt locked (Factory reset and BL still unlocked)
Im using the SM-G965F DualSIM bought in Germany (CSC is DBT) on CSG8 Firmware.
I unlocked the BL on CSE3 Firmware.

If you flashed custom recovery and afterwards custom ROM, KNOX is tripped so bootloader (OEM) is permanently unlocked. There is no way to bypass that.

Co-Signed... You're Done.
There Is No Turning Back....
Let This Be A Lesson To Anyone That Reads This Thread:
You Need To Weigh Out If Rooting And Tripping Knox is worth loosing Samsung Pay & Google Pay. Even though there may be "Backdoors" to allow you to use Google Pay without Security...
But Why Would You Use Google Pay When Your Phone Is No Longer Secure??? and leave yourself Vulnerable to having your info violated?
Once You've Crossed The Line... You Have To Live With That Choice... No Matter How Unpalatable It Becomes..
