[Q] nandroid backups

Is it OK to take a nandroid backup folder off the tab to store on an external HD? They are big folders and I would rather only keep one at a time on the internal card. I am assuming it is fine but wanted to check that each backup is completely contained within the dated folder. Thanks.
Yes, it's just a file.
I always take a copy of my phone's backup and copy it somewhere just in case. A question, in the event of a major Tab cockup, i.e the backup on the Tab gets corrupted, is there a way to restore another copy not already on the device?

[Q] get backed up sd contents onto wiped sd card

Hi,
I backed my sd card contents to my pc, my rooted incredible was a mess it was running CM7. I wiped the card flashed PB31IMG, a stock+ ROM then flashed MIUI now how do I get my backup onto the phone? So my apps + all the information and upgrades are like they were. Ie. all the money and levels I have got to in a app such as drag racing, my Handcent settings messages etc.
I am not sure how to copy the just the names of all the folders so you can see them if that would be more helpful to you please let me know how. If I could get my backed up removeable disk on here without the files I dont need I would be so grateful. Thanks
If you made a backup before you flashed you will have to restore to the backup and backup the apps using titanium backup. If not, sorry, all is lost...

Question regarding backup files after CM9 flash.

Hey,
Today I flashed CM9. And Before that I backed up, my apps+data with mybackup root. I copied the file as it was to desktop, in case something should go wrong. After the flash I copied it back both to the SD card and the internal memory.
But I wont find my backup. Even if I back a small file, it even backs up where I put the folder.
I am completely out of options :/

[Q] Why cant I restore my Nandroid Backup from CWM?

Hi all,
I have had my Note II for a day now and I love it but I seem to have an issue. I rooted and installed CWM 6.0.1.5 (modified version by Philz I believe) using Odin and I of course made a backup of my stock rooted ROM before I started flashing anything but when I tried to restore my Nand it says that it cant find the files and cant open the location. The CWM backup file IS there cause I can see it when I plug my phone into my computer but it wont restore and yes... I've tried EVERY restore option there is in CWM - Restore, Advanced Restore, Restore from External, Advanced Restore from External, so on and so on...
Can anyone tell my why I cant restore my Nandroid? This concerns me as well should I ever need to restore my backed up EFS as again, it just wont restore anything from CWM.
Anyone else with this issue or know what to do about it?
Also,
When I choose to flash anything from Internal SD it is now taking me to a list that shows /0, /obb and /legacy (or something like that) and then I have to choose /0 in order to gain access to my actual Internal files.
I actually have 2 of these sets of folders some how after flashing so now when I try and flash from Internal SD I have to choose /0 AND THEN ANOTHER /0 to access the internal card from CWM. This is quite weird and annoying to say the least. This behavior is also shown when searching my device using ANY file explorer and when I connect my phone to my computer as well - IE. I have all of these extra folders showing.
Can ANYONE explain why this is happening and how to avoid it if at all possible? Is this just something new in 4.2? I am currently running Jellybam 3.52 - 4.2.1 ROM.

Thanks,

[Q] Problems creating/copying files

I'm using a Sero 7 Pro with dolorespark's ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2709243 but I suspect the issues I'm having are nothing to do with the ROM, so I thought I'd ask if anyone has any ideas.
As I encrypt my devices I can't make Nandroid backups from recovery, so I use Online Nandroid Backup which lets me make CWM or TWRP backups. I've never had any problems before but now I'm unable to create the backup to my external SD. It seems to work normally but at the end of the log it shows "Error: Could not change to /mnt/sdcard2/clockworkmod/backup/2015-06-20.01.00.27. Exiting...exitcode [07]". If I make the backup to the internal SD instead it works fine but obviously that's unavailable from recovery, so it's not much use having the backup there.
So then I tried to copy it using ES File Explorer from the internal to external SD but whilst that appears to work, when I check the destination folder in ES it only shows recovery.log and if I check it from my PC it shows more files but only totalling 251MB, when the backup is actually 1.3GB.
I also found that accessing the tablet from my PC, the TWRP folder (after I made a TWRP backup) didn't appear in the folders listed, although it was fine in ES. That issue seems to be fixed after rebooting both my PC and tablet however.
Then I tried to copy the TWRP folder to my PC from Windows Explorer but that errored out and the only way I seem to be able to copy files from the internal SD to my PC is to use ES to transfer them over the Wifi with the LAN, which is obviously much slower than using USB.
So at the moment, to copy files from the internal to external SD, I have to copy them to the PC over the Wifi using ES and then copy them from the PC to external from Windows Explorer, which is rather long-winded and slow. Any ideas what could be causing these problems?
I update to DopA v2.7 which didn't fix the problems , other than that I was able to copy the clockworkmod backup from internal to external SD.
So I flashed back to stock ROM and that fixed the problem with Online Nandroid Backup, which now shows the Required Space when running the backup (before that line showed no value) and I can successfully make the backup to the external SD. However the problem with not being able to see certain files/folders in Windows Explorer persists though, so the backup I just made to sdcard1/clockworkmod/backup/date_time is not visible but the subfolders/files for the previous backups I made do appear and although I just made a backup to the internal SD, no clockworkmod folder shows at all for that in Explorer but does in ES.
So I might as well flash back to DoPA v2.7 but if anyone can help with the problems with not being able to see folders/files in Windows Explorer please let me know.
