Odin it back to JFD using the 512 PIT, then use Odin again with the JI6 without the 512 PIT.
You can find the intructions here.

I'd like to sell my HD2 running Android. However I cannot get it to reset the gmail account that I entered on it. These are things I've tried just so you know I'm not being lazy. Also please be gentle if this is not in the right area. Its a windows based hd2 running android so the correct section was a little confusing. Also I didn't flash it and of course the person that did isn't around compounding the issue. I need to maintain the flash but if I can't I can't .
1. data reset, several times
2. deleting the account ( I get an error saying, " This account is required by some applications. You can only remove it by resetting the phone to factory defaults blah blah blah").
3. Going in and clearing "google apps" which doesn't exist.
I appreciate any help.
save all apps and data with titanium backup, move apps to sd card. and do a factory reset. sounds like you have a bug. and it needs a reflash or something...
first, turn on wifi. then reboot your phone with wifi on. try to delete account now.
not sure about how it works on a hd2 running android but you can not the main gmail account when android is loaded.
I would recommend booting into recovery mode ( not sure how you would do that in a hd2 ) and doing a factory resst from there.
Only solution is to delete all android related programs off of sd card and reflash, thanks a million though guys.

factory rest ...and reset from recovery mode too if needed
I'm having a similiar problem. I have an HTC HD2 from Tmobile that now has Android 2.2 that I installed from DFT. I am now wanting to give this phone to my son and unable to remove my gmail acct.
Here is what I have done:
1. Manage apps>force stop & clear all data for google apps & reboot phone
2. Settings>Accounts>delete account, etc... (given error message and unable to delete)
3. SD & Phone storage>Factory data reset (phone reboots with all information still the same)
4. Soft (pressing yellow button on back of phone)
5. Hard reset (holding both volume buttons, etc...)
6. Install root explorer (unable to find accounts.db file)
7. Ask store associate for assistance (no help at all)
8. Search the internet far and wide for past 2 days to no avail
I'm not worried about any information/apps that may be deleted. I just want my email deleted as the primary.
Thank you!

but phone should be rooted.
I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 which I had setup myself, and one of my family members also purchased a Galaxy Tab 10.1 and stated that they liked my setup (ex. the settings I applied etc.), so I backed up my Galaxy Tab 10.1 using ROM Manager then restored it onto theirs so they can have the same setup.
Everything went fine except now it seems as if we have the same device ID so when he logged into his Google account on his Galaxy Tab 10.1, my Market downloads/updates would not work, and when I logged back in it would work but now the same issue would be happening to him (downloads/updates would not work).
What can I do in this situation? Thank you!
Try clearing the data for market in both tabs. It may help.

After clearing the data it asks us to log back in again, and the issue reinstates itself (ex. if I were to login first, his Market downloads/updates would not work, if he was to login first, my Market downloads/updates would not work), so I really believe that the Market is seeing us as the same device...
Anyone?...
You could try doing a factory reset on one of the tabs.

P.S
Guys i resetted with following number
*2767*3855#
Is this safe? Everything is OK. Smartphone is working but everything is deleted. What to do now?
Ok...so I recently rooted a friend's galaxy ace s5830i and I told him he now has the privilege to delete any bloatware on the device...as dumb as he was,he went ahead to delete all the system apps(not everything because some apps are uninstallable using kinguser app)..
Now after master resetting his device,he can't get past the select language setup screen...and also I realised he has deleted his android.process.acore alongside other system apps like email and messaging.
Now I have no idea what to do to the phone in other to get it to work normally so I decided to create this thread...
I'm really in need of help because this friend of mine is disturbing me.
Any help will be deeply appreciated...thanks in advance

Inorder to get the stock apps back you would require to flash your device with the stock ROM again.
Hi,
Trying to set up the account on my Moto G6 Pro (Android 9), but the app does not let me continue at some step.
I set up a 5-digit smartcode, then enter my account details and password and the next screen is the following:

I can't click on anything anymore. While I have written to ING, does anybody maybe have the idea for a setting I could be missing?
I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I have cleared the data and cache several times.
Thanks for your help.
edit: Sorry mods, posted this in the wrong forum section. Could you move it to the Q&A section? thx
