I'm using both English and Russian letters when naming my contacts. With the default V10d (ARUSSV) firmware my contacts are looking like this (when scrolling):
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The English letters come first, then there are all of the available Russian letters.
But after flashing the Prime v2 or Megatron v1 firmwares all of the Russian letters are disappearing when scrolling contacts: there are only English letters.
It is interesting, that I'm able to bring the Russian letters back in Prime/Megatron just by setting the overall phone language to Russian (instead of English). When phone is set to Russian language Russian letters comes first in the scroll list and the remaining English letters are at the bottom of the list. When I set overall language back to English the Russian letters disappear from the list.
When using the default firmware I can see both Russian and English letters when scrolling Contacts independently of the overall language used.
So, there is a questions: if there is a way to control the appearance of alphabetical letters in Contacts scroll list?
Thank you!..

Yep Swedish and Finnish use these symbols, so they would be on the physical keyboard of phones from those countries (Probably on all Scandinavian Mini's).

Hi all, sorry, i can't find any thread regarding this so i'll start new one. Is anyone having issue with arabic numbering in Blayo's rom(b-0.8)? Whenever i use 'Digital Clock Widget', it appears the digits in Arabic numbering. You can see in attachment, the very bottom widget i use shown in arabic digit. There is no setting in Digital Clock Widget to change language. Also, in Froyo setting also im using "English (United States)" as language. How do i change this numbering to use normal digit?

If all the numbers show correctly in the Rom itself (clock right top corner etc.)
It is a problem with 'Digital Clock Widget' and you should ask the developer of that program to fix it
Not only Digital Clock Widget have this issue in my phone. Stock notification will also have this. But clock in the status bar is showing right digit. Also numbering in keyboard is correct.

I updated my Bell Galaxy S II to the official jelly bean firmware(The Europe version since Bell's GSII is the same). The Chinese, Korean, Japanese and a few other languages are not displaying correctly. Chinese isn't even listed as Chinese. It's listed as MakeeAoHCKN. How can I fix this? When I select English it works correctly.

There are English languages for selection and they are listed in English. However, some of the foreign languages are listed as weird characters. Such as Russian. The word Russian is listed with different characters.
I factory reset and wiped my phone etc and still can't fix it. Even reflashed Jelly Bean.
Hi, just got my new x822, and so far it's amazing! But when I write Hebrew, it puts all words with an annoying red underline. I understood that's the spell checker but can't find a way to turn it off in settings. Tried to use stock keyboard and swiftkey but both with the same problem.

I' m gonna attach an apk here, but the application should only work for the above languages, and use it in languages other than those indicated may lead to errors.
So if you speak a supported language you can download the app from Google Play by clicking the badge
