Anyone know what the contact picture dimensions are? i.e. 200x200px sort of thing? Tried searching, but get a lot of results that have no bearing on the situation...
Cheers

Hello everybody,
I'm trying to repaire my htc touch hd, but I think I have lose a piece, the light sensor.
Is anybody known where I could buy a new one please ??
I'm desperate :-(
See the attachment to know what I mean.
Regards
sorry for the bump but I really need some help
please ?
have a look in the blackstone service manual, there you should find the missing part and ordering numbers.
Thank you for your reply, This is what I do, I read it and find it's the light sensor, but my question was where I can buy a new one ?
since the service manual contains the part number and exact name of the part, you should google it and maybe you'll come along a domestic electronics shop, that will ship them to you, or find, that maybe even htc sells them...
Thanks for your answer but even if I read the manual service document carrefully, I could'nt find the good reference anynone can give it to me ?
For Information I find this in manual service, do you think the ambiant sensor light will be incoming with it ?
thanks in advance.
Why not ask part distributor?
Hi all,
I am thinking about buying the Galaxy2. However I do like HTC Sense and the way it treats the contacts. I have set up accounts for
Facebook
Skype
LinkedIn
XING
...
and all of them are linked in the contacts which is really great.
I have viewed dozens of videos on the SG2 but I havent't found one that shows the contact menu. Can anyone tell me what it looks like or even better direct me to a video of it?
Thanks a lot
Nobody?
Any one who has it already and can tell me how good the contact management is on the new galaxy?

Thanks a lot beards. Pretty good review there.
No problem... I appreciate when you are thinking of purchasing a new phone it may be difficult to check it's features if you don't have access to it.
Reviews, word of mouth and comments here are probably the only means of information you can obtain.
I was wondering if it was even possible to make either a rangefinder app or some sort of ruler device using the EVO 3D's two cameras. This has been brought up in several forums, but it was never possible to make an accurate measurement. With our state of the art hardware of two cameras is it now possible to triangulate the distance of an object.
I just watched the XDA TV episode and he did mention the idea so i give all credit to azrienoch for thinking of it, or at least getting the word out there, but I have not found a place to discuss it other than in the comments of the youtube video.
So, i have done some research on the idea of triangulating with two parallel cameras and the idea is certainly not new. I have come across two articles explaining the process and calculations involved. They both basically have the same information.
http://www.dis.uniroma1.it/~iocchi/stereo/triang.html
http://www.robots.ox.ac.uk/~gsibley/Personal/Papers/gsibley_stereo.pdf
I tried brainstorming the idea, and what seems to be unknown is the focal length of the evo cameras, and how to determine an angle to the object of measurement.
Any input would be awesome, and I would like to see an app like this possible.
I too would like see such an app.
This might also be helpful, and i think this is the actual process to determine the angle.

Well I now realize this idea is much harder than expected. For an app to be able to tell distance, it must first acquire a picture from both cameras, then interpret the image and find similar points in both photos. To do this all in real time takes some serious work.
Now, the easier way would be to let the user manipulate the images to line the two pictures up, however nobody wants to show this of and end up talking ten minutes to do so. Not to mention you would not get a distance displayed in real time.
The only crucial bit of information I am still missing, is the focal length of our cameras. I still have no idea if i can even code this yet. Has HTC released an sdk for the 3d features yet?
If anyone else has knowledge in the field of optics please give your input on this process, as I am super excited to see this become a reality.
I've searched everywhere for this, but I can't find the physical size of the battery in mm. Can someone measure the size and let me know, or point me to where it's stated online? It's the length I'm most interested in.
Thanks in advance!
9.85cm (10.3cm with the hooks) X 4.6cm X ~0.5cm .
Thanks again!

Why? if you don't mind my asking...
Hello
I got my Honor 9 a few days ago and I'm really disappointed. The photos from the normal photo mode are useless, no matter the lighting conditions, the shadows are totally black, the sharpness is insane and generally the dynamic range is terrible. HDR doesn't help either. Could it be a software problem somehow or is my camera defect? I already did a factory reset, it didn't help.
Does anybody else have the same problem? I have read about people complaining about the opposite, that their photos are dull and lifeless, mine are punched to the extreme. All the settings are the default by the way.
What is weird is that in the monochrome mode there is amazing detail in the shadows, the dynamic range is incredible and also in the Pro Mode, only if i shoot raw and edit them.
I would really appreciate some feedback.
Thank you!
