Can you help me out why I can't turn my phone on? I only see a red led flashing with a black screen. Has it been bricked as I just flash from 1.6 to 2.1. Then it can't reboot after shut down. Pls help....
Battery empty? How long did you wait? I remember after 2.1 it took several minutes before it actually started..

Yes I noticed that battery was low and I used external battery to charge it 3 hrs and now I have flashed from 1.6 to 2.1. It was sucessful but when I turn it on, it's just vibrate then blank screen. After that I toke battery out and wait 5 mins then reinsert it back and again wait 10 mins and turned it on a gian. Suddenly it started and with 2.1. I used it about 2-3 mins then it automatic shut down again. Tried to turn it again, but it just vibrate with black screen. Do you know how we can solve this problem as my phone now dead already. I can turn it on by chance and it shut down after using it 2-3 mins.
Try connecting it to seus to see if it can connect to it or not,
If connected--- do a repair/restore
If not, then you are having battery issues and you should take it to service ( which I doubt )

Yes and even I change a new battery, but it's still the same. I can't turn it on as I want, and I have to wait 10-15 min with battery resert. Maybe I need to send it for repair as I believe it's not a software problem, but with an internal battery transfer problem that could not transmit power from battery to the phone permanently.

Am having really bad trouble with my X10. Ive got no idea what is causing the problem and its really starting to annoy me now as its been happening for a while , if anybody can try and explain to me what I can do to diagnose the problem.
I charged my phone to 100% today 5 hours later it was on 50% that was with heavy use so that was fine .. 10 minutes later My phone switched it self off , After turning on my Phone the battery level was about 18% and I noticed that my phone stated that last unplugged went from 5 hours to 2 mins when it wasnt plugged in about 5 minutes later my phone battery was dead.
"On a dead battery" I charge my phone and it must take about 15 minutes for it to come back on before it starts charging, I simple get a red slowly steady blinking light . but when myphone does eventually come on It charges from 1%...
So if anybody can help me because its really frustrating now !!
Tried software restore & battery calibration Neither worked

Have you tried the S.E. support for this strange problem that still hasn't been fixed. Have you also tried to ''wipe battery stats in xRecovery'' and then in SEUS software repair.
Try this method and tell me if it worked. (Before doing charge battery to 100%!)
Boot into xRecovery
Advanced
Wipe Battery Stats
Start SEUS
Let it ask to connect phone
Put usb in phone and computer (while your still in xrecovery)
Go to reboot phone
Press the home button and immediately after that press on your back button to let your phone connect in flash mode
SEUS will install software
Tell me if it helped.

That's not needed.
My X10 suddenly cannot turn on, press the power button, only flashing the red led 3 times(battery is full), the screen display nothing, press any button has no response, I do not know what the problem, please help...
Sounds like the battery is flat, maybe a problem with the charger or usb plug is not charging the battery? Does the light go on when you plug the charger in? Does it go green, if not then it would indicate a battery /charger problem

I've tried some difference charger, no green/red light show on.
Mmm this is what happened to mine when you try to flash it on pc does get to about 90 percent then disconnect

I faced the same issue.
My phone's problem was that when I upgraded to a new ROM, I didnt wiped the battery stats.
And phone was not turning on as the battery was flat and it was not charging also.
This is what I did.
Opened flash tool.
Removed the battery.
Pressed back button of phone and connected USB to phone and PC.
Inserted the battery.
Now I see the green LED means phone is in flash mode.
I kept phone like that for almost 10 mins ! (battery will actually charge a little when we do so)
Later I disconnected and switched on phone and it worked !
The first thing I did was rebooting into recoevry and wiping battery stats.
And the actuall battery was less than 10 % !
You can have a try this way and see if it can be fixed.

I did the same as Runaway Bunny. It worked perfectly after that. Just be sure to wipe the battery stats and FULLY charge your phone immediately.
EDIT
I ALSO had an issue with the USB port going bad so you may watch for that as well if the above does not work.
And let us know how you made out.
Thats very bad i kept my phone 5-6 hours on charge and it turned on this happened to me 3 times in a day
EDIT:My battery got to 5-0% in 2 secs and it turned off at that time it was my brand new phone...

I've been followed the step, but it show red LED (flash slowly) not green LED.

What you see in LogCat when you use USB while switching on ?
I guess, now you can start ADB while switching on and wipe stats through command prompt, hope it helps.
I also had the same problem but fixed it as "Bunny" mentioned (Cute name though)

I know this is a late addition, but if all else failed then it very well might be the usb cord, i had to replace mine as it stopped working. I picked up 2 on ebay for $4 which included postage and 2 replacement batteries set me back $10 delivered

Yeah it really sounds like ur battery is not charging. Happened to me a while ago had to send back to se for repair (USB connection on phone broke)

does anyone had problem like : device turns off constantly although battery is charged around 90%. it looks like, everything is fine, acu icon shows full battery, and suddenly acu icon became empty with red border and device turns off.

Never got this problem, but you can try these things:
Factory reset
Repair phone with PC companion
Wipe battery stats in xRecovery

it seems that device does not stays in flash condition, then i press back key and plug in the usb, the green led shows but only 4-5s and goes off, then x10 normlay starts up,

if you have it uninstall pccompnion
then redownload it and install
also
make sure you have the latest flashtool
goto driver folder in flashtool and run ggsetup
then try again

are you sure? because if you cant repair by pccompanion you are royally screwed..
goto to flashtool folder and run gg detsup and then uninstall pccompanion, re install and use it...it should work
I'm having this issue too. The phone lasts till about 40% and then shuts down. Then when I turn it on it says 25% and then shuts down almost immediately. If I try again it will say something like 10% and then shuts down again.
It takes forever to charge as well and when I charge it it only goes to about 87%. A half hour-1 hour of listening to music and its back to 40% and shutdown again.
I ordered a new battery. Hope it works..

was running quicksense from about january dont know exactly which version.
phone completely died on me,
connected it to the charger and it turned on to the green "htc" logo,
but then it turns off..
so i tried booting to recover; holding volume down + power, with no luck.
tried it via connected to computer, no luck.
with & without batter still nothing..
weird thing is, SOMETIMES the charging light will keep blinking.
also SOMETIMES, the screen stays off, and the vibration feedback when pressing the home, menu, back, and search keys, virbates..
do i have the first bricked amaze or what?

i can tell because the keys no longer make the phone vibrate when pressed after pressing the search key.
I'm betting my money on you having a earlier recovery installed that doesn't allow proper boot if the battery is dead... crappy part about that? it doesn't let the battery charge either... Find someone with an Amaze, or Sensation, charge your battery in their phone for 30 minutes, then try your phone again. Also, after your phone is charged, you probably want to reflash your recovery to a new one that doesn't exhibit this problem.
*just a wild guess, but it makes sense, it's happened to me*
*note, you could just have unrelated catastrophic hardware failure, lol*

S-Off isn't possible right now, S-On-Unlocked is safe. although having the recovery that doesn't support charging is like a temp-brick. You just need to charge your battery in another phone.
Or splice the battery directly to the wires for half an hour. That's how I charged when my charging port was the broked

Can you at least get into adb? You could try accessing it and then using adb to reboot into bootloader/recovery via "abd reboot recovery" or "adb reboot bootloader"

It sounds like a dead battery. The blinking light means (from my experience) that its charging but not enough juice to use yet. Once my phone died and it blinked for a couple of minutes. I tried turning on, but battery wasn't juiced enough. After a few minutes, the light turned solid and was charging and had enough power to turn on.
I would try a new battery. Good news is you're not bricked, and most likely, not even soft bricked

i have the same issue i could get into hboot and recovery but i cant get passed bootload and i charge it for like an hour but it wont stop flashing what can i do is it the battery?

I've had a very similar issue to those mentioned here. I have the latest cwm recovery installed (five point something). After wiping battery stats my amaze went into a cycle of booting up normally then automatically restarting after about 30 seconds. Now it shows the amber light while charging, but will not boot at all, not even into recovery. adb says device not recognized, and the amber light flashes periodically and shuts off if i press the power button... should I trash this phone and get a galaxy s II ?

Charge it for 30-60 minutes. Unplug it and do a battery pull. Put battery back on and reboot your phone

Did you resolve your issue?
It was a hardware issue so I Just did a warranty replacement on the defective phone. I now have the galaxy s2 and the wife uses the replaced amaze thanks all

HTC Amaze won't turn on
Hi guys.
I'm having problem with my HTC won't turn on at all. I tried swapping out the battery with the new one but still won't work. And of course I can't get into adb to do reboot thru that so now i'm stuck. I'm running out of option and trying to turn on the phone. Please help if you can

Does the phone charge when you plug it in?
I got this problem. My battery gone on 0% and phone turns off normally.
After that no on.
When connected on charger it come NOKIA logo with vibrate and come windows phone logo and than shut down and repeat.
I tried all solutions over net and not helped me.
What to do?
please anyone? I dont have warranty any more....
That depends... What was the last thing you did on your phone?
Did you try unlocking the bootloader? If so, did you format the disk when prompted? Never, is anyone supposed to format it. If you chose 'Cancel' then theres hope.
I would suggest trying NSS & unlock it...

Leave it on the charger for several hours. If the battery is completely empty it can take quite a while until it is able to be restarted.
8 hours was on charger and nothing.
When connect to charger bootlop is whole time.

I had a similar problem after I updated my phone, the battery just wouldn't charge up. I was able to flash the older firmware back on to the phone and it would charge the battery but as soon as I put ANY of the tango firmware's on the phone the battery would stop charging.

When you plug in the charger you're phone is turning on but it keeps looping through the boot sequence as the screen eats up more power than it get's. Try using a wall charger to charge your phone, once the screen come on turn it off. You should be able to put enough power about 2% which would be enough to try your phone on long enough to flash it. First try to see if you can get the phone to boot up from a wall charger.
When is wall charger it come to windows logo and turn off.

Can you turn the screen off before it gets to the Windows logo?

Unfortunatly if you can't get the phone to boot up at all then you won't be able to flash on the firmware
The only solution you have is to send it back to Nokia. I dropped my phone in and was given a new phone which now works perfectly
I dont have warranty soo I gave to local service shop....
They said some problem with battery and will tell em tomorow how much will cost.
