And yes, i do a complete Factory Reset before.
Anybody has an Idea?
Thx in advise and sorry for my bad english...
- do you have update.zip on your sd card?
- did you extract the downloaded zip file first (foliomod13d.zip)? or did you rename it?
if you just renamed it, download it again and extract it, inside foliomod13d.zip is update.zip
Thx for ur answer.
And now i have to spend u a beer and run with my head on a wall...
It works!

Hi Guys
Well I rooted my HTC DHD today and when I go to recovery and try to install Update.zip it tells me this:
unzipping............
opening..............
E:Can't open /sdcard/update.zip
(No such file or directory)
Installation aborted.
I tried to look for the file to rename it but could not find it
I mounted the device on PC also tried to find it but could not......
What should I do can someone help???
I looked in to the forums but it did not help that much...
What do you expect update.zip to do? Are you trying to flash a different ROM?
Swyped from my Desire S using XDA Premium
If you don't mind explaining what does this file do?
I am installing it coz its one of the steps to Root your phone

It depends. Update.zip files are/can be created by apps for many purposes. Some allow you to install the app via recovery. Others are kernels, etc.
N.B: It's not needed by all devices doing the root process.
Hello all. I just got my SE X10 befor i had a SE X8 i had i unlocked and flashed whit CWM to CM7.2. Now i wanted to instal Cyanogen Mod 7.2 on my new X10 but as far as i got was to root the phone whit SOC and instal xRecovery 0.3 GB whit the apk. Now my problem starts i cant install any ROM tryed several tutorials i found on xda but nothing helped. Getting this error:
E: Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk-p1 (or /dev/block/mmcbkl0)
(Device or resource busy)
E: Can't mount /sdcard
Tried some how tos i found including deleting creating and chmoding the sdcard folder but nithing.
Whne i boot to xRecovery and go directly to mount mass storage device and connect the phone to the PC i hear a sound that a new device is connected but i dont see the SD card.
Is there a way to instal CWM on the X10 i know its not supported but some peaple managed to install it and works fine but cant finde any good tutorial.

Anyone install this update? Is this the exynos fix? Is it hurting your battery life? International versions are claiming they are having battery issues with the update version they have recieved.

OK so found out its a change to add a boundary check routine to only allow applications to access the phones memory in specific areas. What ever that means

as it reset my phone, it opened up my Team Win Recovery attempted to install what ever it was it wanted to update, finished doing what it did and i had to click reboot from TW. phone rebooted and it came back with an update failed message and wanted to do it again, so i clicked defer for 5 days. In the system up[date the only thing i see for it was an error 410 code...
name of update is: update_SCH-I605_LJB_to_LL4
Rootkeeper worked
Was rooted and but saved root through voodoo. This update installed fine for me, let's see what happens.
Im very new to all of this sorry I apologize in advance in case I don't make much sense..
I've tried resetting to factory settings and had no luck, im currently using Enigma ROM v3.5 and Kernel - 3.0.8+ [email protected] #1
The story is, I loaded up the Nemesis kernel and enigma rom, however It did not seem to work fast and smooth at all. I tried to flash back to 6.1.1.B.1.10 in order to retry everything but however that did not work either. At the moment I have no backups in CWM therefore I can't revert to a previous state. I want to flash other roms and kernels however CWM isn't letting me. Sorry if some of this information is irrelevant, I've been at this for hours on hours and am currently very frustrated. Would appreciate all the help I can get.
Is it saying any errors?

E: Unknown volume for path [cache/recovery/command]
e: can't mount chache/recovery/command
E: unknown volume for Path [/cache/recovery/log]
.. The list goes on for 6 more lines.
When I try to choose zip from sdcard it says:
E: unknown volume for path [/sdcard]

Maybe your CWM is wrong or something like that try to reflash the kernel hope i helped you
