hey everyone, i just bought a transformer prime from staples.com 3 days ago and now it mysteriously won't turn on anymore?
I was using it fine and set it down, then tried to use it again and it just wont turn on, I know for a fact that the battery is 100% charged.
My question is should i go through ASUS and RMA it or just send it back to staples.com?

What FW is installed? Sounds like you got the sleep of death, read up on it here for fixe

please excuse my ignorance, but what and where would i find the FW?

oh, i do have the .21 update, i updated it as soon as it was released.
I guess this is a common problem? I guess i'll just keep it, i love this thing too much

i have the C3 version and yes the GPS is useless and the wifi could be better.
also the browser lag is pretty annoying!
other than those issues, its a great tablet.
Hello, I got a new dell venue 7 tablet about 3 days ago. It worked fine for the first day .... the wifi started having issues on the second day. Its 4.4.4 kitkat ..
The wifi says its connected but I can't do anything as in browse the web or the YouTube. I guess its called a wifi freeze? I called dell and after hour of being on the phone with them, they recommended I do a system reformat which I did with no success. I'm not interested in rooting because that would void the warranty. Anyone with the same issue or any fix? Share your knowledge thanks.
(And if nothing works, what's the return policy with dell? I bought it directly from them. I want to know who will pay the return shipping)

It may be that there aren't many of these in the wild, yet. Many resellers (like Amazon) still have the 2013 models only. People may be waiting for better discounts to appear before purchasing.

The only question is why haven't you returned the tablet? Your post makes no sense you got one good days use of the tablet, now you need help to fix it.
Most people would have simply returned the tablet, and already by now had a new working tablet, but not you.
I googled solutions to fix "Your device is not compatible with this version" when downloading new apps, and followed the directions on this video. My phone started having the issue described (reboot loop), so I attempted to follow the accompanying video, but could not get it to work. I figured if I did a factory reset, it would put my phone back to how it was, erasing the changes I tried to make. However, it did not fix the issue.
I just bought this phone 3 weeks ago and now I can't use it. I'm on a fixed income (Peace Corps volunteer on a living stipend) and spent nearly my whole month's allowance to get this phone. Right now I can't afford to take it to a Samsung store to fix it, and I'd prefer not taking it there anyway as I'm in a city that I don't live in right now which is clear across the country from my home, so if I take it there, I may have to leave before they are able to fix it.
Is there someone here who would be willing to skype-walk me through trying to fix the phone on my own? Apparently I'm not capable of doing it myself, and I really want my phone fixed.

Thanks. In case you couldn't tell, I'm very much a techno-noob. I really shouldn't have tried messing with the phone on my own.
What will this download do for my phone, and is it complicated for a noob to operate? I really don't want to mess my phone up any more than I already have.

I haven't yet. I'm on public computers right now. When I get wifi to download it on my own computer, I will and let you know how it works. I hope that will happen soon.

Hey guys,
haven't asked here anything for a while, but now i feel like in trouble with companies Italian Olivetti (?) made tablet called Olipad Graphos.
Basically one guy made a factory reset for it and know it's almost dead, basically just can't get past lockscreen. No buttons, no notification bar pullable just nothing. Of course it seems like there is no problem with that, just find firmware, make an upadate and life goes on, but there is PROBLEM - no existence of firmware rom or anything else, so there is question what goes on is there any possibility to make this toy work? There is possibility to get into stock recovery with basic options.. Hope there is any possible solution.
Any help will be really appreciated, thanks!

All right, so what if i can get same tablet? Is it possible to copy system files from it or something like that?
It could be possible if the tablet had Twrp. Your best bet is to ask the manufacturer to send the firmware to you. Maybe this time they will respond

If not is they decent custom roms ect

Same question for me.... I already posted of lenovo forum question, but having BIG ISSUE that i cannot start HOTSPOT.... It says always error for me and hotspot don't even start on.... Seems what i have found, it has some bug in settings (i suppose) because have always "setting" notification and can't even to get myself to HotSpot option - it says Settings app stopped working... This is driving me crazy, i need hotspot, hope new global update come out soon >.<
p.s. if anyone can help me to fix it?

My Duel 2 gets delivered tomorrow, UK model.
I hope to get a few updates at least, stable 11 with a few gaming features is all I ask.
I'll keep it for 2 years max anyway.
I will be using as my daily driver coming from an Oppo Find X2 Pro

have UK model too, delivered last week... This phone looks pretty interesting (saying this as user "old ROG 2", but what i honestly dislike is.... Extreme temperatures... i tried to activate rampage mode - this phone is extremely HOT!!!! Tested while 5-10 mins playing Celtic Heroes (144 fps - seems there's no cap so ok, i got it those temps will raise higher...) - 57 degrees of C and it still raising.... Phone is HOT, well, it's summer in my room i have about 38 degrees, but still.... Thinking about buying cooler -> FunCooler Pro 2 - which according some tester from YT is right now the most TOP... Other thing "air triggers are... well honestly much weird... They work great, but that "sensitive" spot is kinda meh and compared with ROG2 it's total downgrade.... so today i ordered some triggers on eBay and will see how it looks like to play with them.... And last thingie i noticed is their android modificated system.... I don't like it, it's weird and customization is well hard to say, but annoying in some things... I wonder in future how i will see that buy of mine if it was worth it or not.... Personally i think "gaming" phones still need some time, like about 2-3 years yet

Ups knocked the next day, demanding £95 import fees which Lenovo forgot to pay. I am waiting for Lenovo to pay the fees so I can have my phone. Not happy and yes I am uk

Yeh mine just keeps saying check for details the next day ect if they mess around much more I'll just cancel it
I've also heard bad stories about the inport fees not been paid if that's the case I'll definitely be cancelling
Been on the phone to both companies and ups saying then need a copy of the invoice from lenovo before it passes customs
Well I've finally got the device after 4 weeks and it's quite nice a few software bugs which I hope at least they fix them in software updates as that's all it needs (things like alarms not working and notifications doesn't seem to be working) does anyone have any fixes for these?
