I think i brick my hd2 - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just flashed an android 2.2 with everything this post said, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893948
After i finished and i thought i got it. Then there is this robotic voice from calls, so i thought i just did something wrong, i searched and people said mostly likely it's the radio, so i downloaded this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=575524 to change my radio. it doesnt work, the program keep saying it cant connect to my device (error 226: CONNECTION), and also window mobile center cannot detect my device, (it detected before i flash to an android)saying i am missing the device driver which i cant find. w/o syncing, i dont think i can even go back to the sock window 6.5.
my big concern, is my hd2 hopeless?

Hmm, you don't need SSPL_RUU.
What you need is HSPL and a radio minimum 2.08.50!
You can find a radio collection thread here

i used the HSPL3~~my biggest problem now is that window mobile center won't detect my hd2, meaning i can't sync with it

Did you try a other USB port? On witch Windows version are you?
Restart your device and pc and try again.

no, using other usb port didnt work also and i am running on window vista

With the phone off, press and hold the Volume Down button then tap the Power button. This will put the phone into BootLoader mode.
At the bottom of the phone's screen you should see 'Serial'. Plug your phone into the computer and the 'Serail' should change to 'USB'.
You should now be able to run HSPL3 and then flash the 2.15.50 RADIO.

USB-drive not detected properly

For some reason, not sure what I have done, my PC won't detect the usb-drive correctly. It does find the drive (Win XP 32bit) and assigns a drive letter, but the drive is not accessible. Also, the phone does not detect that it is in a PC, e.g. the "ask me" menu does not pop up. I have tried disabling debugging, installing new drivers, removing drivers and what not. Works fine on PCs which have never had HTC-drivers installed... Any ideas?
You could try a earlier version of HTC sync

Just did.
I then managed to wipe the PC of the drivers, I think. At least the system was unable to install the drivers, when it detected the hardware, and asked for drivers.
Then the phone should still work as a USB-drive, at least, without any drivers. And it does on other PCs. But not this one. Odd!
try this, not sure if it will help, in device manager look for 0000.001a.0007.003.000.000.000.000.000 or similar in the usb mass storage devices you have

upgrade the driver, select you will pick from a list, uncheck compatible hardware on the manufacture window scroll up to standard usb host controllers, then in the right hand windows select usb composite device! once its done detach phone and reboot pc and try again!
I wiped the phone. I was certain it was not the phone, since other PCs would work fine, but just in case... and guess what, it works. I guess it was all that testing with getting JIT to work under SuperHero 1.0.1 that ****ed it up. Just re-applying JIT again to see if it causes the same problem...
Edit: And now JIT causes a wiped phone to crash. Better stay away from that for a while

Have you solved it???
I have exactly the same problem with my Spanish Movistar HTC Touch2...
you read the notes? I had the same problem, but when I change the registry of windows solved the problem.
i was flashing my mega with a new rom and i repair, on screen apears usb, and the picture you have apears serial. you need connect by activesync to pc.
Sorry, but how can you change the register if you can't enter the ROM? Can it be done from the PC?
And another question,
Is it be possible to reinstall the original ROM from the SD card?
Thanks

How you change the registry of windows ?
Can you explain it to me please.
Finally I succeeded
I followed these instructions and its work>>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=649780 <<<
This part
If it still doesn't work look up this registry key in the phone:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\EXT_FLASHDRV]
Change the value "Dll" from "OEM_FLASHDRV.dll" to "OEM_FLASHDRVXXX.dll" and reboot the device. After rebooting into WM and after activesync is ready run flash-hardspl.bat . Check in tricolour bootloader screen if it is installed and then boot again into WM and change the registry value back to its old value.
Thanks

Plugged it in, Started Odin but nothing happened
hm.....do you have the drivers installed correctly?
Yea
Im fairly sure I do
I had been using the storage and everything on it, transferring music, roms and whatnot
no you need certain drivers for odin they are right herehttp://androidspin.com/2010/08/09/how-to-restore-or-recover-your-samsung-vibrant/
I had the same exact problem yesterday when flashing simply honey 3.5 yesterday through odin. I believe you can still enter download mode just make sure you are pressing the VOLUME UP button only and not both at the same time. If that doesnt work remove your battery, sim card and sd card, and try it again odin will recognize it eventually. Try different usb ports on your pc too that seems to work for me. If odin doesnt work well you might not have the drivers installed.

I just ask, what the fu*k is Your question?
Make a choice, won't Your computer recognize the phone or the phone doesn't recognize the PC.
I think You're asking for the first thing, so on Your place I would check if USB debugging is enabled, if You changed the "Roman".
Also don't forget to check for drivers on Your PC.
And please, explain to me what "Aataraf" is.
Definition in the existing phone
And you do restore factory settings
The phone hanging on the word Sony Ericsson
And tried to install the original Roman road
Flash tool but the computer does not recognize the phone
But lighting is blinking when you press the back button

Can you give me your backup in the original rom
is hard do discover what he want to say, but if you cannot connect your phone to PC check if your drivers are installed corretly. Install SE PC Compaion or SEUS. if you want to use flashtool make sure you have ADB Drivers installed ( you should have it in "drivers"folder, and run the setup wizard) and USB Debug is turned on on your phone.
The battery empty, but when connect the phone electricity are not shipping
just connect it and wait few minutes. it should boot up but it will take a while. It is possible that LED indicator is not turned on. just wait cca 30 minutes.

M8 GPE Bricked and HBOOT is Stuck

So I flashed a unofficial lollipop rom for my m8, but then I found it slow and buggy, so I went back to TWRP and restore it back to my GPE 4.4.4. However, when I boot it back, it turns out like this, I think it is bricked. When I plug it into the computer, the computer detects the phone, but it adb does not, probably because I did not turn on debugging in the lollipop rom.

Then I try to go back to bootloader. When I enter bootloader, it automatically jumps to HBOOT, checking something, and pops up this page. If I hit "yes", then it fix it and reboot, but when I come back to bootloader, it still jumps to this page. If I hit no, same thing. When I plug it into the computer, the computer doesn't detect the phone at all.
So I am stuck, any solution please?

No unfortuanately
Take the external sdcard out and put it in another device, you need to move/remove the "0P6BIMG.zip" file .once file is removed put the sdcard back in your phone or you can boot hboot without it even and the rest of the options should be there like normal

You need to be in recovery for adb to work. USB Debugging only makes a difference if you are trying to connect adb when the OS is booted (which is obviously not the case for you).
As mentioned above, you just need to stop it from trying to update. After that, you probably just need to get a known good ROM on the phone or SD and flash in TWRP. Or at worst, you may need to re-install TWRP and/or update to a newer TWRP version if its outdated.
I had the same problem yesterday and removed the 0P6BIMG.zip file like jball said rebooted 2 or 3 times more and reloaded TWRP and venom one. Now I'm replying with that phone.
