I just have a new touch2 is with wm6.5 and i want to flash a new rom.
I followed these instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=649780 But nothing is happening.
When i flash any rom is frozen on 0%

I have exactly the same problem with my Spanish Movistar HTC Touch2...
you read the notes? I had the same problem, but when I change the registry of windows solved the problem.
i was flashing my mega with a new rom and i repair, on screen apears usb, and the picture you have apears serial. you need connect by activesync to pc.
Sorry, but how can you change the register if you can't enter the ROM? Can it be done from the PC?
And another question,
Is it be possible to reinstall the original ROM from the SD card?

If it still doesn't work look up this registry key in the phone:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\EXT_FLASHDRV]
Change the value "Dll" from "OEM_FLASHDRV.dll" to "OEM_FLASHDRVXXX.dll" and reboot the device. After rebooting into WM and after activesync is ready run flash-hardspl.bat . Check in tricolour bootloader screen if it is installed and then boot again into WM and change the registry value back to its old value.

Hello ppl. After i upgrade my device to TouchVII i try to change pool with active sync method. After the reset i cant install anything on my device or storage card. Everything else is working. Also i try to downgrade the rom with the official but every time i get error message that it cant find my device. I try 2 pc, but no luck. I also try to reinstall the TouchVII but i get error message "Could not update itsutils.dll to the current version, maybe it is inuse?

No luck. I think somehow lock the CID . I try some methods found in forum but none working. Everytime i try to install a program on pda i get error" Installation of xxx was unsuccessful"
I also try to downgrade with many roms or upgrade to another rom but same.
I fix it. I SR and get into bootloader. After that i run again the official rom update program and everything work now

i got this problem too.
using gullum touch vii e.g. installation of ringo mobile is unsuccessful.
even after hardreset problem not solved. some cabs still able to install, some cabs not able to install to device, but to storage card
try re-flashing now...
also not working after downgrade and new update to touch vii

Did you use the pp changer for 6.0.0.0 or 4.0.0.0
Coz, trhis is a problem for changing PP with the wrong fix.
I saw it now. I use the 4.0.0.0 Stupid Here
THANKS rohanmaini for this clue. i used the changepp from transform v1 with the touch vii which i downloaded before (cause i testet transform v1 before). i will try ones more and tell you then. hope this works then

If you had to hard reset ur device, it sure will definitely be lost all the datas and change to normal ROM that u had....
Not hard reset....Only soft reset....

I have the same problem with this cab. The dialer don't start. I guess this dialer don't work with wm6, because I use yet Shadow 1.0.

What are you using to:
1. produce the package
2. Cook the rom
I do the package "home made" Msceinf and notepad and I cook the ROM as the same way as previous with tadzio tools and some batch I've made.
Everything is good for all software I make but not the dialpad I'll test with "package creator".
I had a problem with another dialer, and all it needed was for me to remove every single registry entry related to the old dialer, and then copy the new dialer registry entires in again.

I made 2 soft reset and situation is the same. The phone pad don't start..
My phone model is x01ht, currently I am using WM6.0, and I want to update to WM6.1, so I use Hard-SPL-V7 and follow the instructions to update.
However, when I was at the below step, the image Ver. was 1.00.000.0 instead of Hard-SPL-2.10, and the instructor didn't say anything about the situation I have at this moment. Below picture is my case:

That is the same screen I got also, but I went ahead and flashed anyway (I like living on the edge! ) It did update to hard spl, so you should be okay.

Hard SPL doesn't update
I have image version 3.54.263.2
And when i try to update to hard-spl 2.10 it seems like it doesn't copy the image to the device ( Hermes 200 ).
It says the update is complete but when i check the device again it hasn't updated at all.

You're looking at the rom version, NOT the SPL. You need to go to bootloader to check your SPL - hold ok button above flywheel, power button and reset with stylus, hold all three in until you get to the tri-colour screen (AKA bootloader). You should then see your IPL and SPL. reset normally to get out of bootloader.

Its not possible to flash a t01a rom to a tg01, first you must do some conversion.
I am no expert and do not claim to know how this is done but here are a couple of things to get you started,

arag0n85's TG01 to T01a convertor
These pages tell you how to convert a TG01 rom to a T01a but i'm sure it can be done the other way round, consider PMing them maybe.

But, I want to put the t01a rom to a tg01 for a Japanese guy. 'cos the
docomo t01a is sim-locked, and the normal tg01 didnt come with jap fonts and
input method.
Novembre5 flashed his TG01 with Japanese Radio and it got sim locked.
now if I understand right you want to flash a TG01 with T01A rom, I belive you should try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=659589 and then change radio before flashing.

I already posted that link 2 posts up, that will only change a tg01 rom to a t01a rom, to go the other way some modification of the batch file will be required.
I'm also trying to flash a Japanese ROM on my TG01. But so far, none of these methods seems to work.
1. flashing the official ROM from Docomo, using both SDDL and PIN-method, returns a file error, the tool from docomo says the file's corrupted (I didn't change anything)
2. changing the flash files' extension from .tsd to .tsw/.bin, same error
3. use the tgtool.exe/cotulla tool to repack the flash file

This seems to be the most promising way. I tried to unpack the original .tsd-file with the -T01A parameter and repack it with the -TG01 parameter, but still no luck. Anyways, I'm not too sure how this tool exactly works, so maybe you have better ideas. Any suggestions?

After i finished and i thought i got it. Then there is this robotic voice from calls, so i thought i just did something wrong, i searched and people said mostly likely it's the radio, so i downloaded this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=575524 to change my radio. it doesnt work, the program keep saying it cant connect to my device (error 226: CONNECTION), and also window mobile center cannot detect my device, (it detected before i flash to an android)saying i am missing the device driver which i cant find. w/o syncing, i dont think i can even go back to the sock window 6.5.
my big concern, is my hd2 hopeless?

What you need is HSPL and a radio minimum 2.08.50!

after going back to the spl 2.08.0000, my computer still cant find my device. so right now, i cant even access my sim card through My Computer nor window mobile center, any other suggestion?

Did you try a other USB port? On witch Windows version are you?
Restart your device and pc and try again.

no, using other usb port didnt work also and i am running on window vista
With the phone off, press and hold the Volume Down button then tap the Power button. This will put the phone into BootLoader mode.
At the bottom of the phone's screen you should see 'Serial'. Plug your phone into the computer and the 'Serail' should change to 'USB'.
You should now be able to run HSPL3 and then flash the 2.15.50 RADIO.
