[Q] Folder shortcut for quick links?

Is it possible to put a folder shortcut in the quick links menu such as games folder or office mobile? It would be a lot more convenient to have just the folder instead of each game put up and would save space. I am using cookies home tab btw if that is important at all. I tried searching and didn't come up with anything useful.thanks for the help.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=576232
haven't given it a go...care to read and see if it may work?
cheers.
you will need resco explorer for my solution.
1. navigate to the folder you want to add to quicklinks
2. long press on that folder to get a popup
3. select "send to" in the popup
4.at the bottom of the menu you will see "startmenu as a shortcut" choose that
5. go back to sense starting page and press "menu" on the lower right side
6. choose "edit quicklinks"
you will now see that the folder you want to add is already there
hope that helped...

ES File Explorer: modify favorites?

I have ES File Explorer (1.6.0.7). I also have ES Bookmark Manager. The star in the upper left of the icon bar brings up a screen called 'Favorites', with 'Home', 'Phone', 'My downloads', 'My Pictures' on line 1, and '/mnt/sdcard/' on line 2.
Is there any way to modify the links on this screen? Playing with bookmarks requires hitting [Menu], Manager, Bookmark Manager, Category, <bookmark>, five taps out to get to what I want, which is approaching how long it would take to just navigate to the directory I want manually. I'd like to either set some bookmarks as favorites, set the star to go straight into the bookmark manager, ideally with one category already open, or at the very least modify the links on the favorites screen, as neither 'My Downloads' nor 'My Pictures' go to the correct location for my configuration.
It seems like one of those things that should be really simple, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Is there a way to add more options to pop up menu

Is there a way to add more options to pop up menu, which popup when a .pdf or .chm book is tapped/clicked inside the File Manager (like Astro).
I have installed
ezPDF, Foxit PDF, Quick office along with Polaris office (It is a stock app in GT-P7500). When I tap .pdf file a popup menu opens up saying ''complete action using'' the above apps
If I tap a .chm book a popup menu opens up saying ''complete action using'' Cool reader or Script Manager, it does not show HyReader or CHM Reader or Moon Reader or Best Ebook Reader
Is there a way to change it
Please don't ask me to ''Get a Windows 7 tablet?''

Get a Window--- Just kidding
Normally it matters that the app that supports the file type allows it to be enabled as a default app for that certain file extension. I use the normal Adobe Reader for pdf and I don't really mind what app it opens, Android is still growing, you can however contact the developer of the app you find most comfortable and let them know about enabling it as a default app for that specific filetype. They do appreciate feedback and also you would experience the same with Mango based tablet's.
You can however clear default's in Application Manager.
Thanks a lot for the info

You can make a shortcut in ES File Explorer. Long press image thumbnail, select 'shortcut'. Puts a shortcut on home screen.

Go to files, select folder your photos are in, select 3 dots, create shortcut on home screen.
