I have a samsung vibrant I need boot.bin and sbl.bin files (I found only the sbl.bin).
accidentally burned both files to a version of I9000.
I have no problem if these files are in the package UPDATE.
I gave up so I searched the entire web and not found.
Thanks to everyone who could help
After downloading the update for SGS3, I found the update.zip in the /cache/fota/ directory. I was able to adb pull it to my workstation. Besides some new apk's and patches it contains a new bootloader sboot.bin which is stored on the mmcblk0p1 partition when executing the update.
For curiosity I'm searching a way to unpack or decompile the sboot.bin ! Anyone knows what type of file this binary is made of and how I can unpack/decompile it?

There are knock offs that look the same but you can not flash or make any changes to the device.

yeah, i tried flashing both odin and heimdall, 1st i tried the heimdall but i can't save the pit.file because of an error so i tried flashing thru ODIN, i flashed the i9100.pit and it PASS in the odin, but after the reboot, the phone is still the way it is, there's no difference.. i even tried the method that uses a pit file, pda, phone and scs but it have an error after completion, i tried reflashing the tegrak kernel, it passes in odin but the tegrak kernel build 25 doesnt change .. i tried reformatting the internal sd, after the format complete, the sd is clean, but after i reboot, the files are back again.. this is so sick. i put an sd card (2gb) on it, and when i take a picture i save it on the external sd.. the file is there i can see it even i boot, but the problem still there, the files in the internal sd is still there.. i tried formatting it in my laptop, it complete, i defrag, check disk, it all says no problem in the sd and the formatting is complete without error, but then when i reboot the phone, all the files are back again.. it consums 11gb in the internal and leaves 400mb ..
EDIT: i just found something weird, i went to a friend of mine who also have a m250s (but already converted to i9100) i checked the status on his phone and found out that i don't have an IMEI and a Serial Number,.. is it connected to my unwritable internal storage problem?
anyone help me please? i can't use my phone
its been 4 days already. i can't use the phone because even though i don't install anything the social hub, gallery and other system applications force closes from time to time.. its really frustrating

please i need help, i can't use my phone
Dear All,
I'm so sorry to disturb you with my thread, But I'm facing a problem with my S6 edge and I need the Pit file...
May someone can help me
BR
you don't need..load the firmware that matches most..rename tar.md5 to tar... extract it with winrar ..download the toolkit from original development thread..delete the hidden.img from the extracted firmware..now copy it to toolkit input folder and make a flashable Odin package.. should work
Hey guys!
I have a question... Where can I get the sboot.bin file for the current firmware for the sm-a107f? I downloaded multiple files from smmobile and other tools. Upon extracting into the 5 md5's and then extracting those, there is no sboot file...
Why do I need it? The phone had an account on it I didn't know about and when I did a factory reset, I found out that the phone was locked with a pattern. I read that you can create a custom flash file with three files, only two of which I found. EVERY file I download from Pie to 11/12 have the sboot missing. Can someone direct me to where the VG2 sboot file is? Or did they do away with them?
Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
