I need to upgrade my lg optimus one to v20g, but my usb is broken about data exchange, so I was wondering if someone could give me a nandroid v20g so I can use my clockworkmod 3.1.0.0 to restore it in my cell... any help?
A little help?.. even a different stock rom would be fine.. what matters is that is a stock one like v20c for example.
If you follow the first 5 lines of the install guide of this ROM you end up with a stock V20g from September 21st (or 20, 22, 23, I'm not that sure, but it's the most recent one) with ClockworkMod. I guess it's european, since the portuguese was from Portugal and the english from England.
Oh, sorry! You meant something that doesn't require USB, right? Are you able to transfer through USB in Recovery?
First of all thanks for the attention you gave to me.
Unfortunatly my USB dosen't work in such a way.
I have tried in recovery mode, in emercengy mode, without battery using LGMDP, but my USB seems to be dead.
The only way could be restoring a nandroid backup that was done by another phone via ClockworkMod.
Could you be this one?
P.S.
Thanks for the link, it looks really interesting!
Since I wanted to flash the latest stock ROM (brazilian v20a), I added one more step installing the v20g I mentioned earlier and created a backup with clockworkmod...
See if it works...
I'm not allowed to post links, but go to www [dot] megaupload [dot] com /?d=249VCD69
Great!!!!
I'm downloading it!
Thanks a lot!

I'm really grateful for your effort but it didn't work out , maybe we have different clockworkmod.. mine is 3.1.0.0, which is yours?
Too bad... It's the latest 5.*
Maybe if you install the latest ROM Manager and flash this clockworkmod...
I rooted my P500 for the first time last week and I'm not that experienced with these stuff.
Good luck.
Thank you a lot the same!!!
I really appreciated your effort!
Ciao.

Hi guys. Need your help over ere! As the title suggests, ive forgot to take a backup of my rom before flashing with 'Sensation rom by Crysis'. Now, if i want 2 revert back to the stock rom, what can i do? Also, theres a new v2.5 available for our SGS2s but I cant update nw, as the update option is probably removed on dis rom! Plz help!
You can install a clean stock ROM without any problems. All your stuff that were in the old one are gone though, unless you didn't wipe before installing the new ROM.

Yes, you can use the nandroid backup to restock the tab.
Just flash the nandroid backup of the stock ROM (do a full wipe if you want)and then flash the stock recovery using ODIN.
yeah do you have a stock 3.1 touchwiz CANADIAN Clockwork mod backup. I could certainly use it if that's possible by you to post one. Thanks

hey guys,
I just have rooted my Galaxy S3 and I want to put on a new ROM..
I never tryied this before and this is my first Android phone..
Which ROM is the best for a noob like me?
And when I put on the new ROM, do I have to make a factory setting, or can I just install a new ROM into the original Stock ROM?
Thanks for you help,
Sivasli_
Can anyone help please?
thanks
STOP!!!
Right, you need to slow down, start reading and learning and make sure you know what you are doing, when you do, then you need to read some more, follow the Rom threads for a while, follow installation instructions for your chosen Rom.......this forum doesn't exist to spoon feed people that can't be bothered to make the journey(see forum rules).....and you don't want to end up with a £500 brick, do you? Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it is the truth and will save you a lot of stress and heart ache in the long run

if you've got root permissions, you can now make a nandroid backup of your operating system, and a backup folder of EFS, perform the procedure using this tool ; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1703488
for the rom to begin with ; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1663656 I suggest this has a few bugs, and you use every day. .

The 2 links provided in post #4 are too specific. OMEGA is only one of many custom ROM's available.
So i would suggest you have a look at this thread to get a wider overview on different ROM and their capabilities...

Just to be sure you do have an international GS3 and not one off the USA providers otherwise your in the wrong forum and doing anything from this GS3 section of roms will brick your phone.

Depends on really which ROM you are flashing. If you are going to switch between CM, AOKP and Samsung based ROMS factory reset is "almost" needed. I would read ROM's OP carefully and if factory reset is mentioned as a step in flashing instructions I would follow it... Before flashing any ROM you should anyways backup all user apps and data using Titanium Backup

from Google .
What Is AOKP ROM?
Recently, a new ROM – AOKP (Android Open Kang Project) – has become very popular, and is gaining more users with every passing day. Like CM9, AOKP also provides its users with stock Ice Cream Sandwich experience with some tweaks added by the developers to enhance the overall usability experience of the ROM.

As you already solved the problem, can you please add "[SOLVED]" to the title of your first post?
Would be very nice for other users who look through the Q&A posts trying to help others ... just like me spending some time to read your post and finally read at the end, that you don't need help any more.
