Quadrant doesnt matter at all. I am on bionix v and its a perfect daily driver. Its fast and has excellent battery life. THE ONLY THING QUADRANT IS GOOD FOR IS COMPARING NUMBERS. And besides 1500 is pretty good.

Well if you really want some high scores, then odin back to stock (backup your stuff with titanium first and put it on your desktop so you can return it later) then find ryanza's one click lag fix. It converts your file system to ext2 and does something to boost your score to around 2300. The i/o part of the test goes by instantly. And for more added score i guess you could overclock it. But i wouldnt recommend it. 2300 is high enough LOL
EDIT: if you don't want stock then find a rom that is compatible with ext2 system file conversion.

best battery life between EB01,EB16,EC10 kernels

I've been constantly testing between those three kernels, but the results vary a lot.
so which is theoretically stable and doesn't drain battery?

My opinion - EB01 .

I'm running the Comavolt kernel with the DL09 radio. Switching back to the DL09 radio from EB01 had a significant (+50%) effect on my battery life.

Does undervolting save you battery life?

Does it?
Also does it decrease performance?

When I used CM7 based ROMs yes I saw a difference with no performance lags. When I try with any 2.2 / 2.2.1 ROMs I lock up fast. Plus my phone hates OCing except on CM7 based ROMs.
I am overclocked at 1.2 and no undervolting bc I found that it really didn't make too much difference in my battery life. I use other means to control the battery life and all undervolting did was make me constantly check to make sure I didn't undervolt too much and dread the lock up. Well it did lockup and I just gave up on that tweak.
Search for Kaintfm's profile. He is using a MIUI but his signature shows his overclock/undervolt settings. The scale that he has is quite impressive.
Side note: I am getting sick of useless posts that say "use the search" or "search is your friend". If you can't answer the question, then don't post anything. That is just as annoying as answering the same question that has been posted over and over.

That makes no sense bud, and what I said does, I've had multiple vibrants just like this question has been asked multiple times plus talked about in almost every kernel thread, every phone is different try it yourself for best results....

Galaxy S3 Battery Improved?

I would like to ask if i have better battery life because i'm using phenomenal kernel 2.0 extreme. I'm not sure if this improves my battery. Here is the battery stats.
Stock kernel is always best battery life for me mate. Always has been.
But its a personal thing that only you should judge. Don't be so lazy to ask us to examine your battery stats maaan

+1 Stock kernel gives the best battery life, benchmark orientated users use other kernels.
And why would you need to overclock this phone I wonder.

yeah absolutely! it's kinda weird you know..usually custom kernel will make stock kernel better. but not in s3..maybe devs need to explore more about quad core..
I find undervolting far more useful. Saves a lot of juice

Lets get this straight... UV is used to find stability not save battery life. It is a few mV not a lot. It doesnt impact a lot!

No rom, it'll last forever well nearly forever.
No setup is the same. Even if they are the same it can have different results. Just go and find your right ROM.

You obviously did not read the forum rules.
Like was stated before, what works well for one person can be completely different for you. Only way is to try yourself and find what you are happy with.
